Das Cedar Lodge ist ein neu abgeschlossen 2750 Quadratfuß Luxus-Kabine. Die Decke bis zum Boden Fenster im Wohn- / Essbereich bieten eine hervorragende Aussicht auf die herrliche Frio Fluss unten. Innen- und Außenwände der Kabine sind aus 100% Zeder, während die Böden und Decken sind aus schönen, natürlichen Kiefernholz. Die großen Zimmer / Essbereich Funktionen expansive 20 'Decken mit massiven Holzbalken Zugabe zu der bereits großzügigen Wohnbereich im Erdgeschoss. Granit-Arbeitsplatten betonen die Küche, Bar und alle Bäder. Das Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss hat ein King-Size-Bett, mit eigener Dusche / Badewanne Combo Bad. Eine neue Waschmaschine und Trockner für Ihre Bequemlichkeit zur Verfügung gestellt, sind neben dem WC im Erdgeschoss. Alle neuen, hochwertige Handtücher und Bettwäsche sind für Ihre Bequemlichkeit enthalten. Oben auf dem Dachboden, der den offenen Bereich mit Blick auf die Treppe hinunter, ist ein Twin-Size-Bettcouch und Spieltisch. Viel Platz für die kiddos - weiter unten in der Halle finden Sie eine Schlafraum mit 2 Etagenbetten. Am Ende des Flurs ist eine weitere große und geräumige Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett. Ein geräumiges Bad mit Dusche / Wanne-Combo-Service die Schlafzimmer auf der zweiten Ebene. Für zusätzliche Gäste, die große Zimmer verfügt über zwei Queen-Size-Schlafsofas. Die große Zeder Deck mit Blick auf die Frio hat viele Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien und bietet eine hervorragende Treffpunkt, um einfach nur sitzen und genießen Sie die Ruhe und Frieden. Great Cabin!!!

The cabin is beautiful and we had a great visit. Tom was a wonderful host and quickly responded to any concerns we had. I highly recommend it for a great family getaway.

Paradise in Leakey Texas

What a gorgeous cabin in Leakey, TX. Plenty of room, giant high cealings, beautiful spot on a nice rolling creek, great seating in backyard to enjoy the scenery. just an absolute dream spot to vacation.

Perfect Family Getaway!

My family and I loved the cabin! The fire pit was perfect for making s’mores and even though water levels were low the kids loved fishing and exploring the outdoors. Definitely will be rebooking for future getaways!

Awesome!

2nd time to stay at the Cedar lodge and it did not disappoint. Perfect spot for kids to get into the beautiful Frio River and fish. Very close to town if you need to grab something. Simply a great place to stay!

Perfect getaway

The lodge was a perfect getaway for adults and kids. The house is beautifully appointed and had all the necessary amenities. The 10 minute drive to Garner State Park is ideal with kids so we were able to come back to the house for lunch and naps. Would definitely recommend.

Summer on the Frio

Nice property with easy river access! Had everything we needed and quick drive to Garner State Park! Even with levels low this year, water behind house and you are able to float. Very quite and relaxing part of Frio out your back door.

Lovely house for a weekend getaway

We loved our time at Cedar Lodge. The Frio was nice, as was the river access. The house was well appointed and we were all happy and comfortable. My kids said it was our best trip this summer! We brought kayaks, and though the Frio isn't the best for paddling because it can be pretty shallow, the river by and around the house seemed to have more water than we are used to. It was fantastic!

My tree house!!!

Cedar log house was so beautiful, it made our family feel so cozy, private and as if we were staying in our own huge tree house. River access only steps away with a private feel to all the area. The beautiful big windows felt as if you were outside enjoining nature and yet with all the privacy at the same time. Love the whole area, the amazing sunsets and always a pleasure to visit. The property manager is awesome he response quickly and is very helpful making the trip a breeze.

We Will Be Back... Again... and Again

This house and the entire property has everything you would ever need or want when you stay in Leakey. It's convenient to "downtown", but nestled down on a very, very quiet part of the river. All the amenities are top notch and the mattresses were more comfortable than the ones at home. I don't have one single complaint or area of improvement for this place. It was so great to stay there. We will be back for sure.

Great getaway!

We had an excellent time and the property was fantastic. Tom was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Be aware, we have Verizon cell service and had no service for miles around the house, but the house does have wifi. Download the directions before you get there just in case!

Fantastic riverside cabin experience

The place was absolutely perfect for what we needed - a quiet getaway for family and friends to come together and be in nature. Spacious, clean, and right next to the river - this cabin was a hit with both adults and kids. Quick drive to Lost Maples, and even quicker to Garner State Park. Leakey was 5 minutes away and also very quaint! Tom was responsive, kind and thoughtful - we met him on the property walking around at some point and it was a lovely chat. He was also super responsive on the phone and via message. 5/5 would recommend!

4th of July Family Getaway

The house was beautiful and well-maintained. It's right on the Frio river with great shaded swimming access. While you have neighbors, there are just a few houses on the private road that all back up to the river, so it felt very safe and the river access felt very exclusive. Only thing to note (which is explained in the listing if you read it carefully) is that the 4th bedroom with a twin is actually a loft that's open to the downstairs. That isn't ideal if you've got someone who wants to go to bed early, like a kiddo or grandma in our case. They could also use an AC balancing as the master BR stayed quite a bit warmer than the rest of the house. These are very minor issues compared overall experience. The ease of check-in, proximity to Leaky and Garner State Park, unmatched river access, beautiful setting, and comfortable home made for an overall fantastic experience. I think there's an excellent chance we go back here in the future.

Perfect Getaway for Families and Friends!

This house was everything and more! The decor of the house was perfect for a cabin on the Frio River. It felt very spacious and the accommodations were all very nice. The tall ceilings and big windows were a bonus! We loved the location on the river because it was away from the crowds and we felt like we had the river to ourselves when we wanted to take a dip into the Frio or just go fishing. It was just a short ten minute drive to Garner State Park and other tube rental places which we thought was great! This place is perfect for those who want the experience of the Frio with a peaceful beautiful scenery. The river is in your backyard and the rolling hills are a beautiful sight when you walk out the front door. We looked at shooting stars on the back porch at night and saw TONS! On a side note, our child left her rings there on accident. We contacted the owner and the rings were at our house by the time we got home from vacation! We were impressed! We love it and hope to be back next year!

Not what it’s hyped up to be..

The home interior was very gross,grimey and dirty, I called the manager and he came and I showed him all of the switches and outlets that had caked on finger prints and grease and other peoples bacteria,the sheets and pillow cases had blood stains on them and looked so dirty and dingy,the top bunk beds even had some baby roaches under the sheets because I took every cover and pillow case and area rug and washed them all and we also vacuumed the carpets inside and swept the entire floor,this house had not been cleaned in I don't know how long. I wiped every handle and switch and knob and disinfected them,the manager said he called the cleaner but she couldn't come back and clean and do her job she should have in the first place because she was in San Antonio but I watched some lady watch me in her white suv get the key in the lockbox and go inside and that was maybe 20 mins before I called and showed the manager everything in the home,she wasn’t that far away. He also said the owner offered to refund our money but come on we live 3 hrs away and just drive and planned this trip and that’s all you offer or say to me,wow very disappointing. Then the ac didn't work right and then the manager and owner came and fixed it and still didn’t apologize for anything. I took pictures of everything and us cleaning this entire grimy house,the price is definitely not worth it. Then you have a new house being built and all the noise with it and you can see right into there back porch and onto the rental home also,the ad made it sound like it was by itself on 40 acres but it’s not private at all it has 2 houses on the left and the 2 cabins on the right. Then they have a fire pit and it had flags around it but we did not know we couldn't use it yet and why would the manager not tell us and then charge us a fee because of us using it,that makes no sense and especially for all of that inconvenience and cleaning the entire house and doing their wanna be cleaners job. Disappointed with the manager and the owner and the rental property. Too many other options out there and this ain’t our first rodeo. People need to be doing their jobs correctly and with quality and value and with morals and back up what you represent on the internet and the product your offering.

We all enjoyed our stay at Cedar Lodge. It was colder than we have expected. Glad we brought jackets

My family and friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving getaway stay at Cedar Lodge. There was plenty of space for all 13 of us( adult, teenager and children)Tom let us check in an hour early. The only thing missing in is the Keurig coffee pods. 4 of us are RNs and we are coffee drinkers. We had to buy some from the Family dollar in town which is just a few minutes drive away. The river is shallow. It is understandable due to Texas drought.Over all we had a wonderful stay.
