Wir befinden uns in West Asheville in einem Gebiet namens Enka / Candler. Unser Haus liegt direkt an der I-40 / Ausfahrt 44, etwas mehr als 1,6 km vom Haus entfernt. Die Bequemlichkeit der Lage ist wunderbar. Die I-40 bringt Sie überall hin in die Umgebung, auf die Sie schnell hoffen können. Eine Meile von unserem Ausgang ist auch die Verbindung für I-26 und I-240, die Asheville umkreist. Die I-26 bringt Sie innerhalb von 20 Minuten direkt von zu Hause zum Flughafen. Brevard, N. C. 25 Minuten, Cherokee 45+ Minuten, Charlotte 2 Stunden, Columbia, S. C., 1. 45 Minuten, Greenville, S. C. 1 Stunde. 3 Stunden nach Charleston S. C .. Die Innenstadt von Asheville erreichen Sie über die Patton Ave (10 Minuten). Auch über I-40E bis 240E (15 min).

I loved the stay we didn’t get to use the pool but we were ok with that .

It’s a beautiful home and the host is really responsive. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was getting cleaned out but overall it was lovely .

Affordable, clean, and fun vacation staying here. It was great for a family with kids and it’s close to many things Asheville. Shane is really specific about what’s provided so pay attention and you’ll know what extras to bring. We’d rent this place again!

Wonderful communication

This was a great, clean property so close to downtown Asheville. The owners had wonderful communication and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. My fiancé and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Asheville with our friends. Will plan to book them next year for our trip

Wonderful Hottub

The jacuzzi was invigorating, new with strong jets, lights & Bluetooth; but with the exorbitant depo$it we were surprised to find such a modest house. We had a pleasant stay, but the final morning was totally devoted to cleaning and chores despite a cleaning fee.

Great location for access to Asheville, huge pool

Asheville is a great getaway and this is property is a good value at a good location. It is a short drive to the art district and Carrier Park is nearby (lots of hiking/biking trails), dog park, float or kayak down the river. The house was clean and the pool was a lot of fun the pool is larger than most hotel pools and it’s all yours. I did give only 4 stars, would give 4 1/2 if I could. The hot tub wasn’t working the week we were there. Although the owner did try, getting his handyman to work on it throughout the week.

Great Space and Location

The house was perfect for our needs. Loved sitting on the deck, drinking morning coffee and watching the occasional cardinal fly by. The location was perfect. Easy to get to great restaurants within 15 minutes as well as sightsee to the nearby Biltmore Estate and travel the Blue Ridge Highway. This is the first time we have used VRBO - we are sold on traveling this way in the future. We received prompt replies to questions we had before hand as well as great communication pre and post arrival. I highly recommend this property.

Clean and neat

This was a clean and neat place to stay while visiting Asheville NC. However needs some minor improvements such as the entry way from driveway, cooking pots and pans. Previous renters left us two full trash containers. Shane always responded to our concerns.

Was in town for a wedding

Rental was clean, pictures were accurate. Was sad about the pool not being available (owner did reach out a few days before flew down and offered to allow us to cancel or get a discount) refund was quick. Rules were a bit much particularly the temperature setting to only 78. Owner did communicate and checked on us during our stay.

Issue with the property

Unfortunately, there was a lot of issue with this property. The pool area was nice, but the inside of the home had many issues that should have been resolved before we got there. Broken windows, A/C thermostat falling off the wall, very loud neighbors across the street, front porch light not working among other things. The owner was quick to respond and was willing to fix them, but I was traveling with my dogs on business and did not want people in the home when I was gone. Again, these issues should have been fixed before we arrived.

I typically give 5 stars, but not here. Althoughh floorplan and cleanliness we good enough, quite quite a few issues. 1. Communication with host reduced to name calling when I asked for the access code on the morning of check-in. It had been promised by the prior day. Unacceptable. I understand he's had theft issues in the past, but my requests to have check in info before I left for the trip was reasonable. 2. Rude insistence that we do multiple loads of towels and linens, or pay fine, even when we paid a VERY hefty cleaning fee. (the fine was waived when we complained, but still...) 3. Multiple Little things that were issues, and not consistent with the premium rental fee- one mattress was plain awful, nothing but springs,. Bathrooms had no exhaust fans and either no windows or non-operable Windows,. None of the windows in the cabins were operable,. Mold in one bathroom.

We are in such a wonderful location to everything Asheville and the surrounding areas have to offer. Very convenient to the interstates, major through ways and downtown. We like to think that we have a very nice, cozy and welcoming home. We also have a swimming pool and soft tub hot tub. We are Pet friendly $80per pet. 2 dogs max. Please inform me if you plan on bringing a dog.

PLEASE, NO DOGS IN THE POOL. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LEAVE YOUR DOG IN THE FENCED IN AREA AROUND THE POOL OR ON THE DECK WHILE YOU'RE OUT

DIRECTIONS TO DOWNTOWN, THE BILTMORE ESTATE AND BILTMORE VILLAGE

Visiting specifically Downtown can be accomplish by 2 similar routes:

1) Smokey Park Hwy/Patton Ave is virtually a straight shot right into downtown. Travel time 10 to 15 minutes.
2) I-40E to 240E to Patton Av. This route is slightly longer than the route above, although a higher rate of speed can be obtained. This route should never take more than 15 to 20 minutes.

The Biltmore Estate 11.5 miles (24 min)/ Biltmore Village 8.4 miles (13min)

1) Google will probably take you down I-40 to Hendersonville Rd. This route can vary by 10 minutes. 13-20 minutes directly into Biltmore Village from our property.
2) Visiting The Biltmore Estate can be time consuming depending on the volume the Estate is receiving throughout the year. Again, arriving into Biltmore Village is 13 to 20 min, although getting from the front gate of The Biltmore Estate to the front of The Biltmore House can vary a great deal. I worked at The Biltmore Estate for six years. Some days getting to the front door of the Biltmore House from the front gate took 15 minutes and other days it took 35+ minutes. So from our property to the actual Biltmore House could take anywhere from 24 minutes to 60minutes depending on the season.
3) I-40E to 240E to Amboy Rd to (RTurn) on Meadow Rd to (RTurn) on Biltmore Av. Biltmore Village and the entrance to the Estate are just down on the right not even a quarter of a mile. This is the most direct route to Biltmore Village and The Biltmore Estate. 15 -20 minutes.

Keep in mind Asheville is a tourist town. There is traffic during various times of the day. If you are traveling downtown during rush hour (morning or night) add perhaps 12 to 18 minutes.
