We do appreciate the great review on the actual property, location and view. The cabin is always extremely well maintained and we have a 5 Star review across the board and rated a Super Host on our platforms. As you may know, your stay was right after a very strong snow storm that actually caused ice throughout the roads, mountain and its surrounding areas. Although the cabin had been left clean, the maintenance crew was not able to get to the cabin prior to your stay. This is very uncommon because they basically live there. But the ice on the road did not allow vehicles to come in. However, my advice is that upon check in, you contact us for any issues you may find and we will always be very responsive to any details that need immediate attention. Our guests and their experience is very important to us. We pride ourselves in knowing that most of our guests come back over and over again each year to enjoy this amazing mountain and make new memories. We would have taken care of the windows if you would have mentioned it upon your arrival. We surely hope you return with your wonderful family for another great experience. Thank you for your great review ! Yes, that is an amazing cabin with beautiful views. Actually, one of our largest cabins. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Those little creepers known as stink bugs do fly around during this time of year. It is one of those things that is hard to do away with. The cabins do get fumigated and you will not find ants or roaches or other insects inside the property. But these fly around and with a large group such as yours, the doors are frequently opened and they fly in. The property never has any insects inside when cleaned by the maintenance team. It is something we pride ourselves in making sure the cabins are impecable. And for this reason, we hold a Super Host / 5 Star Rating. We would not want to have such amazing cabins and not attend to them properly. Therefore, we welcome you back anytime to experience another great stay in the winter or spring for a whole different experience. Thanks again for staying with us. It has been ordered, but due to these difficult times, it is on back order. We will have to wait until it finally gets shipped. Unfortunately, the a/c had a minor setback during your stay and the company was sent out to you immediately. Subcontractors are not allowed to go into any properties without the guests there. But I am glad it was a quick fix. We invite you to visit Carolina Getaway Cabins again soon and stay in any of our large luxury cabins.
