thebeachhouse ist eine neu sanierte Stadthaus mit herrlichem offenen Wohnraum und Küche / Esszimmer mit erhöhter Penthouse Blick auf die St. Andrews Bucht.

Das Anwesen wurde während 2016 nach außen und innen komplett neu entwickelt, und wir sind sicher, dass Sie unsere geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer lieben die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer zu ergänzen. Die offene 'Manhattan Loft "ist unser Feature Bereich - eine im ersten Stock Wohnzimmer und Küche / Esszimmer, die Sie erhöhten Blick von der Kathedrale auf der Rückseite zu den Stränden und Schloss vor der Tür gibt.

Wir haben drei Schlafzimmer (ein Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten), die sechs Personen schlafen können, drei Bad / Dusche, und zusätzlich ein Gartenzimmer / eng mit einem Doppelschlafsofa.

Bitte beachten Sie, als unser Stadthaus eine offene mittleren Etage hat, ist es nicht möglich ist, Treppen Tore für sehr junge Kinder an sich zu setzen.

Von der Haustür zu Fuß rund um den vielen Restaurants, Cafés und Bars der pulsierenden mittelalterlichen schottischen Küstenstadt St. Andrews. Besuchen Sie die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt, darunter Golfplätze, Radwege, Strände, Freizeitzentrum, Parks, botanische Gärten, Theater und Museen. Ganz zu schweigen von den Brennereien und Brauerei!

What a gorgeous flat overlooking the Castle and right in town with easy walk to everything! Interior is new and modern and very comfortable for family time. Cannot say enough good things about the flat and the very communicative and responsive hosts. Terrific stay!

Amazing Beach House

We had a great stay at the beach house in St Andrews. Perfectly located close to the city center but tucked back in a quiet neighborhood, the home had everything we needed throughout our stay. Can’t wait to come back again soon

Great property in perfect location

The views from the property are fantastic! The sea, the ruined castle, and ruined cathedral! The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere in town in minutes. The townhouse has lots of space and excellent amenities.

Fabulous as always

Absolutely stunning property.

Wonderful location looking over the sea and the ruins of the castle. Gorgeous home. Probably the best VRBO we have ever rented. Short walk to every bar and restaurant in St Andrews yet very quiet at night. Communications from owner were immediate and helpful. We shall definitely return.

Fraser and Ann are the most wonderful hosts and have a truly special property. The views must be the best in town, the home is updated, well appointed and very comfortable. Wonderful St Andrew’s Experience.

The listing and the pictures did not do the beach house justice. Spacious living room and kitchen area and comfortable rooms. Very quiet location with great access to many sites. Ann was fantastic to work with. She provided great communication and made the experience simple! We hope to be back!

This is a wonderful rental unit with fabulous ocean views from the sitting area and master bedroom. It is newly renovated, clean and well maintained. The owners, Ann and Fraser could not have been more helpful and responsive, and were a great resource for recommendations for the town and area. The townhome is easily accesible to all of St. Andrews, with loads of good dining options just a short walk away. We loved this place and I would highly recommend it.

This is our second stay at Beach House. It is a contemporary and beautifully designed home in a wonderful location in St. Andrews. The views are spectacular. Fraser is easy to communicate with — very responsive and accommodating. We’ve been to St Andrews several times and this is, hands down, the best place we’ve stayed. It’s a gem.

Pristine Architectural Gem with Picture Postcard Views

This is one of the most amazing and thoughtfully designed houses I've ever visited. The modern layout capitalizes on the stunning views of the castle, the cathedral and the sea. It is immaculate and beautifully furnished. Its location is second-to-none in St. Andrews -- steps away from everything (town, ruins, footpath) but in a peaceful, quiet enclave. My family and I loved every minute in this one-of-a-kind home.

The Best Place to say in St. Andrews

We stayed (for the second time) at this great property and had a fantastic time! It is located right on the St. Andrews Bay/North Sea and you can see the Castle ruins from one side of the house and the Cathedral ruins from the other. Great location; you can walk everywhere (Old Course, restaurants, sightseeing, etc.). The house also is in a quiet area so it is very peaceful. House is equipped nicely and I can't say enough nice things about Ann and Fraser, the owners. Would stay over and over. I recommend it highly!

Location, location!

We were staying in St. Andrew's for my daughter's graduation. The beach house was an ideal spot. Beautiful views and a great location. It was nice to be slightly out of town, but close enough to walk into town to all the restaurants and bars. The bedrooms are on different floor levels and the living and kitchen/dining is all on the same level. That made cooking and cleaning easier. A large farmhouse table was ideal for our group. I would definitely rent again.

First time in Scotland

Fraser’s home was the perfect location for our family golf trip to St. Andrews. The beach house is stunning and the views are amazing. Waking up every morning to the sounds of the North Sea is unforgettable. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you would need to feel right at home. Fraser was so helpful and a great communicator. Everything in town is within walking distance from the house. We would definitely stay there again for our next trip to St. Andrews

'Beach House' in St Andrews a great place to stay

My wife and I spent two weeks in Beach House and loved it. The location is walking distance to everywhere in town and just a 10 minute walk to the first tee on the Old Course. The property underwent a total (to the studs) renovation within the last few years and so everything about it feels 'new.' The owners, Ann and Fraser, are very nice and responsive. So communication was easy. We highly recommend this property and are very likely to return on another of our visits to the Auld Grey Toon. Joe & Theresa B.

We stayed at this beautiful Townhouse for a family retirement golf trip to Scotland in late August with my sons. We could not have picked a nicer home and a more beautiful / convenient location than here. The hosts were so gracious and helpful as we planned for this trip. Could not be more grateful for the warm welcome they extended. We made St. Andrews our base for this trip and the views from this townhouse were spectacular. Location was so convenient to experience all that is St. Andrews. We walked everywhere to dinner, pubs, and the beautiful scenery / attractions around St. Andrews. Easy walk to Old Course, Dunvegan, and very short drive to The Jigger Inn, Tom Morris Bar and Grill, etc. Trains station to Edinburgh is 15 min away. Short drive to Kingsbarns and Carnoustie. The views and images on the website are even better in person. Setting is peaceful and tranquil even though you are truly close to everything. This was my bucket list trip and now I need another bucket so that we can return to this lovely townhouse.

Even the great photos don’t do The Beachhouse justice. The sea views from the front of the property were stunning as were the equally stunning views of the cathedral ruins from the kitchen area . The property was a pleasure to stay in.It was spotlessly clean and finished to a high spec.Five star plus in our opinion.Being within walking distance to all beaches and town centre was an added bonus. Ann and Fraser were a pleasure to deal with. The checking in and out processes were well organised and communicated. Started saving for next year!

This trip to the beach house is amongst the tops of all our vacations. The magnificent view towards the castle and the ocean really inspires one to think of all the people that have passed the front of the house over many centuries. The location is ideal, not in the middle of the commercial district but a short 5-10 minute walk to very good restaurants and historic bars where the walls are virtually all the greats golfers who have played here. The Old Course pavillion is a 13 minute walk away. A place where one would need to go to if you have a tee time but also to watch the players tee off or come back on the 18th green. This is great entertainment! The appliances and bathroom fixtures are new and high quality. We cooked some great dinners. Most importantly we Ann and Fraser, our host was very attentive and pleasant to communicate. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much.

Perfect location for week long golf adventure

What a wonderful house and location to spend time in St Andrews. We were 4 guys on a golf trip and plenty of room for all to feel comfortable. The location provides easy walking access, within 10 minutes, to all things in the city. We also used this location as a hub when golfing within a 30 minute drive to surrounding courses. The views, sounds and smells of the ocean were an added bonus which greeted us at both the start and end of our days. Parking was very easy and accessible behind/in front of the unit. Ann was a very gracious and communicative host which was appreciated as we were traveling from the US and first-time visitors. This would be my first choice for accommodations when I return in the future. Thank you Ann!

We completely redesigned the property, with an open plan first floor offering elevated views over the ocean. It has an urban feel to the feature space, our 'Manhattan loft' - very contemporary and a great place to spend special time socialising with your family and friends. We don't do twee, so we like to think the rest of the house is seaside waterfront styling but with class!!

It's uniqueness really mainly evolves around the direct views over the Castle, Cathedral and beaches. You have to be there to truly appreciate it. Due to the elevated position it can feel like being on a ship when the tide is in! Which is why we fell in love with the property, and turned it into our special place...
