Warm & cozy wonderful view of boats, paragliding & activities on the beach. High end shopping Mall right next door and a 5.00 cab ride away to second mall. Housekeeping had to be called to redo some cleaning but everything else was perfect. Management was easy to work with. I would stay there again

Beautiful Views of Banderas Bay

Great views from this comfortable location. During the day, you see the majority of the bay with the city and mountains as a backdrop. At night, it's all about the lights of the city. Spectacular. The hot tub was a wonderful place to listen to the celebrations of the people in the city and view the lights and fireworks around you. The interior is decorated in a very warm and friendly regional style. Very comfortable.

Grand Venetian is a nice property in hotel zone

We have stayed in other units at the Grand Venetian in other years and have a lot of friends that rent here. There are some beautiful homes in these towers. The complex is a great place to stay. It is noisy - noise from the carnival across the street and the all-inclusive next door. Although the owner has put a lot of effort into the decor (it is as pictured - nicely furnished and outstanding view), the unit is beginning to show signs of being 'tired'. The unit could use a thorough cleaning (upholstery/floors/closets-clean out/etc.) and many small repairs need to take place. The bedrooms are small. There are no side tables beside the master bed nor is there room for any. The kitchen has all the appliances you could want, but not everything you need if you want to cook (e.g. no oven proof dishes). I did not appreciate chipped dishes and plastic drinking glasses.

Fun in Puerto Vallarta

Pros: very close to the airport, smooth check-in, great communication with the host, the view from both balconies IS AMAZING, the place is fairly spacious, and there is a restaurant on site that will provide food and beverage service to guests while they are at the pool (very handy). Also, the condo was fairly well stocked with laundry supplies, dish soap, bath soap, and toilet paper. Oh, and the gym is in the building and is very nice! Cons: We had a great time and the only cons I can think of are minor, the condo is starting to show some age in that the toilet handles need some jiggling after each flush, and the patio furniture is so weathered that it is a bit uncomfortable (however, the host has some beach chairs in the closet that looked brand new, so we used those while on the patio.). All in all we enjoyed our stay here! Oh, I did see some reviews complaining about the loud music nearby. There is a club next door, but the music was only noticeable on 2 of the 5 nights we were there and was quiet by 10pm...so not an issue for us.

Spectacular vacation in PV

The unit is very large, clean, with a spectacular city view from the large balcony. It is in an excellent location making it easy to ride the local bus into town, about 15-20 minutes or 10-15 by taxi. The art work in the unit is very colorful, bright and fun/enjoyable, much appreciated. The unit is adjacent to a very new and upscale shopping center, La Isla, that is scheduled to open soon. This is another plus, more shops and restaurants, yoohoo! I highly recommend this unit. There were a few negatives to our stay in this unit. 1) The A/C stopped working about the third day. We could not figure out how to reset it. I sent an email to Diego and he replied with instructions on how to reset it but I was not able to reset it, a special tool is required to do reset (a tiny little hole has to be poked to reset it). Two days later, I finally got in touch with Diego using my cell phone (the concierge helped me figure out how to call Diego on my cell). He immediately sent a repair person and it got fixed within the hour. 2) There is a phone on a desk in the unit for local calls and to call Diego for any assistance you may need. The phone did not work. The person who checked us in tried to make it work. He spent about an hour on it. He said he would report it. Several days later it was still not fixed. Later , when the A/C went out, I tried to use that phone to call Diego, it did not work. Later, when the repair man that fixed the A/C came in, he tried the phone and could not make it work. He determined the phone had been restricted. 3) Pick-up service to the airport - we had a friend coming to join us a couple of days after our arrival so we asked that the driver pick us up at our unit and take us to the airport to meet our friend together. He was very nice, he was on time etc. The car he came in, however, was not acceptable. The driver's car was in repair (we were told) and he had to borrow a car. It was very old, banged up at multiple sides, dusty/dirty inside, there was a hollow where the radio used to be in the dash board, the seats were very stained, the seat belts were missing, the car engined died at least 4 times on our way to the airport. The back of the car (it was a small suv or station wagon) could not be opened, the luggage had to go in through the side door and then over the seat to the back. Once inside, where my wife and our friend sat, the doors would not open from the inside, only from the outside, NOT SAFE.

We're glad your stay was was enjoyable despite the minor disruptions of service. Our greatest fear as host is what you experienced, as it is often out of our control. We take great care to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. Great communication by all parties is the key to a success vacation, before, during and after your stay with us! Our guest should notify us as well as our property manager for service calls. Had I been apprised of the situation we could have made arrangements to promptly restore all services. I caution all guest to make sure they have full cell phone service while in Mexico. We offer complimentary concierge service to all our guest, from the airport to the condo, unfortunately Tony's car was in shop. We have since made sure a suitable alternate vehicle will be available in the future. We Thank You for your honest feedback, we will continue to improve our hospitality for our guest Regards, Jeff

Two weeks at Christmas

The property is lovely. As stated in other reviews, there is no bedside tables for the master BR (beware if you want phone or have a CPR) and there is noise from adjacent resort (we could not use the balcony). There is no lighting overhead in the dining room, so without the balcony or dining room for dinner, we had to use the coffee table. Jacqueline makes the effort to provide necessities like soap and paper goods.

Great place

We stayed here from Feb 14-25, 2019. We loved it. We would rate it 5 stars. The only downside was the noise every night from the carnival across the street. Other than that, everything was perfect. The views were to die for. Everything was just as in the pictures and everything worked. Jomar was there when we arrived to check us in and explain how everything worked and was there on time when we were checking out. It was a quick 5 minute taxi ride from the airport. The restaurant by the pool served great food and margaritas at very reasonable prices. The pools were great but sometimes had a hard time finding chairs. Adriana was great to deal with. We really enjoyed our walks on the beach every morning. The beach is one of the nicest. Overall, this is a great place and the location is one of the best on the beach.

Its in the Grand Venetian. Great views, great pools, great reasonable rsstaurant. Nice unit. Sleeps 6, but much more suitable for 4 , since the extra two will be sleeping on thick floor mats unless they are small enough to sleep on the huge sofa. Love it.

Great time in Puerto Vallarta

This was a return trip to this cozy condo in the paradise of Puerto Vallarta. The condo is very comfortable for 4 people and was fully equipped to make our stay very enjoyable. Being located on the 15TH floor with a south facing patio, provided for spectacular sunsets in the afternoon. The entire complex is outstanding with an enormous pool layout, very good on-site restaurant, and top notch security. Best of all is the friendly staff that go the extra mile to make your stay exceptional. The owner, Adriana, and the condo staff were always very responsive to our needs. We will certainly return again!

Great Stay!

We arrived for our stay on April 1. There was some confusion at the front gate and the security staff did not see us on the list as approved visitors. We were thankful that someone in our party spoke Spanish to communicate with the security staff and after 15-20 minutes, they let us in. A representative from the property was in the lobby area waiting for us and let us into the property and showed us around. The property was breathtaking! The pictures were exactly as the property was in person. We have nothing to say but positive things about our stay. The property staff was great and we had an awesome vacation! Having the maid staff come in 1/2 way was nice! We can't wait to come back! Note...we found out on the last day that UBER is 1/2 the cost of a taxi...FYI

Loved our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing condo at the end of February! We looked at a lot of options at the GV, but were ultimately convinced this was the best fit for us. We were two adults, one teenager and a baby. The unit has two very comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a large living room and a well equipped kitchen. The view is absolutely to die for! How you could you complain sitting in the hot-tub at night watching the city and bay lights, and listening to the ocean-waves! There are no words! We ate breakfast daily on the balcony and picked up lunch either at the restaurant below, or at one of the places in the adjacent mall. The security on the property is absolutely top-notch and we never, not once, felt unsafe. The property grounds are pristine and you can tell maintence takes care of any issues immediately. We watched staff washing the pool umbrellas, glass railing, exercise equipment and lobby daily. Wow, these people work hard. There was a Carnaval Fair across the road from the complex for 7 of the 8 days we were there. Someone previously complained about the noise, but this didn’t really bother us at all and was actually very pretty to look at at night. Reminded me of travelling fairs I saw as a child. We walked past there almost daily on our way to grab a quick bite at the food-park. The food park is just a 5 min walk from the property and a great place to get a bite to eat. A grocery store is a 10min walk and has everything you will need for your stay! No need to haul anything heavy in your luggage. Now to the service. We took a taxi from the airport. Since we had a whole bunch of baby gear we needed a big van. It was 500 pesos. A quick 15 min ride and we arrived at the GV. We were greeted in front of tower 1000 by Jomar who helped us with our luggage and took us up to the condo! He gave us a tour of the place and explained how everything worked, leaving phone numbers in case of emergency. It was great to get a few nice tips from him about nearby places and get a good feel for the place. During our stay the AC stopped working. A quick message to Adrianna and it was fixed right away. Much appreciated! On our last day Jomar arrived as promised to do our check out. He waited patiently while we collected all of our belongings and once again helped us out with our luggage, calling a taxi for us also. Absolutely fabulous customer service! We would most definitely recommend this place! Thanx for everything!

Nice place but location could be better

I have stayed from one end of PV to the other. This is not our favorite location as its far from old town where all the favorite eating places are. Unit was nice and just as pictured from the terrace, but the two bedrooms view is the mall and carnival rides that play music all night so its worthless. Pool was nice, eating was good, but the ocean water is right by the river so water was really muddy looking. Couldn't get the air to work as others have reviewed and not many english channels on the TV. Overall was a nice place, but won't stay again as its too far from old town.

My family and I stayed in this amazing condo located right on the beach over the Xmas of 2017 as well as celebrated the ringing in of 2018. Wow! what a great location to watch the fireworks from...

Terrific Condo with Spectular View of Banderas Bay

This roomy condo located on the 15TH floor of the Gran Venetian provided very comfortable accommodations inside a very secure complex with superior facilities and services. The unit was very clean with an open floor plan that made everyone feel at ease in pursuit of their own activities. The kitchen and bedrooms were both well furnished with all the necessities to take care of our daily needs. When we needed maintenance in the unit, the response to our call was quick with very competent and thorough technicians. The very large lanai was exceptional in viewing activities on the beach and across the bay. We experienced every sunset and firework display on this open deck. The pool complex and associated restaurant surpassed our expectations with the staff being very warm and friendly. Both the condo and the complex proved to be very accessible as I ventured about in my wheelchair. If needed, there was always a friendly face to provide assistance, if needed. The location in the hotel zone was great for shopping, restaurants, and groceries. We will certainly return at our first opportunity.
