Terrible Customer Service
Amazing location with a terrible host.
1 - The contact information was incorrect on the VRBO reservation making it very difficult to get in touch with the host. When I did get in contact with him he told me he'd been asking VRBO to update the contact information for one month but they have not. After looking online it shows a host can update the property details themselves and it will appear update on the site within 24 hours. He was not being truthful with me.
2 - There was no shampoo or bath soap in either bathroom. I told him this but he DID NOT PROVIDE SHAMPOO OR SOAP FOR OUR TWO DAYS.
3 - On VBRO it lists "parking" as feature. It does not say "parking is paid by customer" so it seems clear to me that there was a parking spot along with the apartment. This is not the case and we paid 67 Euros for a day and a half of parking. The property is also listed on a different site and there it says "parking is paid by customer".
4 - On our reservation it listed a garage where we could park. This was the incorrect garage. Again, Francis lied to me and said he had asked VBRO to change it for one month but they had not.
5 - Many little things. This is billed as a luxury apartment but there are broken tiles in the kitchen, mold in the washing machine, the clock battery was dead, the ashtray had not been emptied, there was A LOT of mildew in the shower, etc.
I strongly suggest finding another place to stay.
