In einer hübschen Lage im Zentrum von Bath mit großartigen lokalen Annehmlichkeiten ist dieses georgianische Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 1 Badezimmer im 1. Stock für 4 eine romantische Möglichkeit, das pulsierende Stadtleben zu genießen.
Die Zimmer verfügen über hohe georgianische Decken mit riesigen Originalschiebefenstern und Arbeitsfensterläden. Sie bieten eine schöne Aussicht und komfortable Möbel.

Das geräumige Hauptschlafzimmer in eleganten Enten-Ei-Blau-Tönen lässt Licht aus einem großen, beeindruckenden Erker hereinströmen. Ein kleiner Tisch und 2 Caféstühle laden zum Verweilen ein und bieten einen Blick auf die geschäftige Umgebung, ein Dach aus Dächern und fernen Hügeln. Es gibt ein hübsches 5-Zoll-Doppelbett, einen großen Kleiderschrank mit Schubladen darunter und eine hohe Kommode.

Das zweite Schlafzimmer, ebenfalls in einem hübschen floralen Blau, überblickt den kleinen Park mit einer Fülle von Bäumen. Es gibt zwei einzelne 3-Zoll-Betten in linearer Anordnung mit einem Kleiderschrank dazwischen. Dieser Stauraum kombiniert Aufhängefläche mit Staukörben auf Läufern.

Ein großes Duschbad verfügt über eine Eckdusche und ein Eck-WC sowie ein zentrales Waschbecken mit Ablageflächen für Toilettenartikel auf beiden Seiten.

Das Wohnzimmer hat zwei große Fenster mit Blick auf den Park und einen ausgereiften weißen Kirschbaum, der das Zentrum dieses schönen ruhigen Ortes krönt. Es gibt ein großes Ledersofa für 2 Personen (dies ist bei Bedarf ein Schlafsofa) und 2 elegante graue Wollsessel. Ein kleiner Fernseher mit DVD befindet sich über einer dekorativen Truhe, in der sich Filme und Spiele befinden. Es gibt einen runden Mahagoni-Esstisch für 4-6 Personen.

Die Küchenzeile verfügt über Granit-Arbeitsplatten und Einbaueinheiten, die einen 4-Platten-Elektroherd, einen Backofen, einen kleinen Kühlschrank, eine Waschmaschine (kombiniert mit einem Trockner) und einen kleinen Geschirrspüler enthalten. Es gibt auch eine Mikrowelle und einen kleinen separaten Gefrierschrank für die Tischplatte sowie eine gute Auswahl an Kochgeschirr.

Lovely spot in central Bath

We stayed here as a group of 4 friends for a weekend trip. The apartment is lovely and a stones throw from bath town centre with cafes / restaurants & the royal cresent on your doorstep. Perfect for a short stay.

The apartment is right smack bang in the middle of Bath, close to all the sights you need to visit. Great, comfortable flat in Bath

We stayed for four nights in Bath. The flat was exactly as shown in the photos. Great water pressure, great internet (unusual during our 20-day stay in Great Britain). Beds were comfortable. Small kitchen with all the amenities. Undersized refrigerator, but very adequate for our needs. One floor up, no lift. Parking was a severe issue. They issued a permit for the area, but spots are very hard to find. We kept the car parked. The flat is about at 15 minute walk to the Roman Baths. One minute to Royal Crescent and The Circus. Walk to Baths is downhill on the way there, up hill but easy on the way home. Several great restaurants very close, including Rustico Bistro (Italian) and The Circus. We would stay here again if we return to Bath

Lovely and Luxurious for Our Family

We stayed at many places during our recent visit to England, and the Oriel was by far the most beautiful and comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious for me, my husband, and two teenage daughters who each had their own beds, which helps us all sleep better. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The photos are accurate. Our contact met us on time to let us in and tell us about the apartment's features. The kitchen was small but had the necessary components. We didn't cook but used the microwave, refrigerator, and washer/dryer. Loved the giant windows and that they had shutters and drapes to block out the early morning light. It was only about a 10-minute walk to the Roman Baths, Parade Gardens, Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey, etc. and only a few minutes walk to places to eat. The only real improvement we suggest is providing fans, because we are used to air conditioning. Fans would have helped us sleep better because there was some street and bird noise when the windows were open. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

The apartment was “ok”. It was not consistent with photos in that it needs sanding, painting and some minor renovation. In the photos it looks perfect. It is not. My sheets were also stained. Our biggest problem was that the management company handles an apartment above ours and the tenant obviously had insomnia. All night they paced through in their apartment. We did not just hear footsteps. Our apartment SHOOK all night. We had no sleep the entire time we stayed there. The management company was pleasant and easy to deal with. But if I had to do it over again, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Great location

I was attending a baking class at the Bertinet Kitchen. This flat was about a six minute walk from the school. Absolutely perfect for my husband and I. We did not have a vehicle, so I can’t comment on parking. We found getting around town on foot easy to do from the flat. Lots of great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect breakfast

Clean and welcoming, with some good essentials like milk and biscuits. The apartment is perfectly placed for the Royal Crescent and we found the number 20 bus very useful for getting down to the centre of the city. The information provided both online and in a book in the apartment was very useful. In our three day break we visited the Thermae Spa, the Pump room, the Abbey(beautiful), the Royal Crescent, the Circle and we walked all around the centre of Bath enjoying the good weather and the many fine places to eat, including the Ivy, Pizza Express, and a very nice café just down from the apartment in the short pedestrianised precinct. An excellent break and a wonderful apartment.

We loved the rooms, view and location. The digital communication before arrival was a tad frustrating. It was not obvious that the key lock was for the apartment. The bathroom fan did not turn off. We will stay there again as perfect location for us.

A week in Bath

A very nice flat in central Bath. You can walk everywhere from this location between the Circus and Royal Crescent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The flat does not have air conditioning, so if that is important to you be forewarned.
