This is our new favorite place to stay in Poipu. Our unit was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The ocean view from the pool is amazing, the beach is nearby and the grounds are beautiful. The rental office staff were knowledgeable, helpful and kind. They called us after we made a reservation online for next year to let us know we were entitled to a ten percent discount as returning guests, then took care of it for us. Can't wait to go back!

The accommodations were very nice, and the tropical garden setting was almost like paradise. We also appreciated the free pass to the athletic club.The suites are also conveniently located near the beach and the charming small town of Koloa. If there is only one constructive comment we can make, itā€™s that only the one bedroom had air conditioning. It can get a bit warm, and even humid, on Kauai, so a/c in the living room would have also been greatly appreciated.We will carry the paradise of Kauai in our hearts .

Spectacular Stay at Suite Paradise

We cannot express how happy we are to have selected this condo for our first visit to Kauai. Check-in was very easy and convenient. The condo was well stocked and very clean. We enjoyed having the beach chairs and umbrella for our daily adventures around the island. The second bathroom was very convenient to have for our additional guest. We loved the location of the condo which is a short walk away from the beaches. The property grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. What a wonderful location. The unit that we stayed in was extremely clean. The unit had air conditioning in the bedroom but it was not needed with the trade winds. The property manager suite paradise was extremely helpful. I would return to this unit it far exceeded my expectation.

Great condo and property!

We were on Kauai for a kupuna (senior) softball state tournament; the playing fields were in Hanapepe, so just a short drive away.The unit had easy access for parking and loading and unloading. Loved having the second bathroom just for convenience!The sofa was much more comfortable than the often seen ā€œtropical furnitureā€ that usually serves as decorative only. The bed was comfortable enough; itā€™s always different when away from home, but not bad at all! Adequate linens, dishes, etc; good ice maker in fridge.The only downside was that the A/C in the bedroom is noisy, but you wouldnā€™t want to be without it.Overall a great experience and our first with VRBO

Kauai 45th anniversary

This was a very nice unit with all the comforts you would want, and was clean and convenient. It was located in an area of lovely resorts probably a block or so from Poipu beach. There were a number of really nice restaurants and stores for things you might need a short drive away. The 4 stars was that I thought this unit had A/C everywhere but it actually was only in the bedroom. This is not a major drawback because we didn't spend much time in the unit - why would you when there is so much of Kauai to see?? Anyway, the living room was a bit sultry in the evenings but other than that it was great.

Best first family vacation/babymoon

Such wonderful staff and very accommodating. They provided a pack n play, crib, and a high chair so I didnā€™t have to lug all that on the plane. Everything was so close so it was easy to get around and the price was reasonable! Definitely one of my choices to stay over again if we visit Kauai again. Mahalo!

We enjoyed staying here for the most part. -Wonderful resort grounds -lovely pool -close to beach -no noise from neighbors -lovely back garden view -kitchen had everything we needed Things that could be improved: -bed was too soft/worn down (bed had a sink spot on bathroom side and as a result, I didn't get the best sleep the entire week. I reported it as soon as I sat on the bed, could tell it would be a problem, but for some reason, the front desk did not immediately respond. Days later, when we were going to leave, a man came to "switch out the bed" but he never did. The worker felt the bed and agreed it needed to be changed out. We were told they would do this,but it never happened. I got call on the day we were leaving that they would come inspect the bed- I laughed and said we were heading to the airport, but they will need to switch it for the next guests. Management contacted the owner on this and they did credit us back some of our hotel bill for the inconvenience during our days there.) -was really warm and we were there in December -they had a huge fan, but it was too loud to sleep -we used the oscillating fan which was not as efficient, but at least we could sleep with it -master bath shower has a very tiny shower head and weak water pressure - -otherwise we had a wonderful time. -

Enjoyable, large condo. Excellent service from property managers.

Loved this condo. We were surprised how spacious it was. We enjoyed the shaded lanai for breakfast. It was a bit too hot and sunny for lunch or dinner, though. The lanai felt quite private. The condo itself was clean, nicely decorated and really comfortable. We used the kitchen quite a lot and found everything we needed -- even sharp knives, to our surprise. There was a portable A/C unit in the bedroom, which we set at 71 at night at 76 in the day. We kept the bedroom door closed to preserve the cooler, drier air. There were slatted windows and fans throughout the unit to help with cooling, although it became a bit too hot and muggy for us in the afternoon, which made sure we got out of the house each day to escape the heat. Just be aware that all the interior doors are slatted, including the bathroom and bedroom doors, which promotes air circulation. It took some getting used to, but not bad. There are 2 bathrooms -- one with a shower and separate tub and one with just a shower. The shower was pretty small so when you lather up the water rinses it off at the same time. But it's wasn't a big deal. The pool was enjoyable and very clean, although not heated, so we could swim for about an hour before getting too cold, even on the warmer sunny days. Most people just got out and laid in the sun to warm up. It had a terrific view of the ocean. The outdoor pool shower was behind a privacy wall and it was great! The shower water was slightly heated and came down hard, like standing under a waterfall. The pool area bathroom was nice and clean, too. We were very happy with our stay :)

Great Location, Excellent Experience

We had a great time on Kauai and our stay at Manualoha was a huge part of that. The condo had a really awesome modern kitchen and two bathrooms, which was perfect for the number of people on the trip. The condo was definitely warm, but that's how my godson preferred it, so it worked out well for him (and there was an air conditioner in the bedroom, which was perfect for those of us who did NOT want it too warm haha). We had a great time eating breakfast out on the back porch and the staff were all really nice. Also, highly recommend the restaurant next to the check-in office--super delicious food and a lovely view of the ocean.

Convenient location for those wanting to see the whole island

My wife and I stayed at this property for our anniversary, looking for a central location to explore both the entire island of Kauai. Poipu in the south is overall central to the roads that take you to the east and north as well as the west. This property, while not on the beach is about a 10-15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to Poipu Beach Park which is a very family-friendly beach to set up for the day. The kitchen accommodations were more than satisfactory and the bottle of wine chilling in the fridge was a nice touch. The bedding was comfortable. The bathrooms were nice. It was great that there was some provided beach equipment like chairs and sand toys (though the addition of an umbrella and a small cooler would be a welcome addition). And, itā€™s really nice that the developmentā€™s office will give you additional soaps and laundry detergent during your stay. The sprinklers tend to run at 5am which made for an early alarm. While I recognize that the owners do not manage the developmentā€™s irrigation, it might be a good suggestion to move the watering to around 6. The windows were open and the fans were on when we arrived. While I knew the listing said A/C in the amenities, it was not entirely clear how to start the A/C. Over a day after our arrival, we realized that beside the TV, there is a window unit on the floor. While we certainly needed the A/C during our July stay, a single unit in the living room had a hard time reaching the bedroom on the other end of the unit. We ended up lining up the provided fans to move the cooler air toward the bedroom. Overall, this was a nice option for our week in Kauai and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Aloha and mahalo!

It feels like we are in Home in Kauai!

I wasnā€™t expecting so good apartment and with all the tools you need to feel in home! And the location itā€™s wonderful! The condominiumā€™s pool really nice! The staff is ready to help you in case of some problem or doubt! I love it! Canā€™t wait to come back! Mahalo!
