The location of this into cannot be beaten. Closer to the sea and you'll be sleeping on the beach! It's also a 15mn drive max to either seaside or Rosemary's beach, both lovely towns. You can also walk to a few restaurants and shops.
The unit itself is big and airy with a lot of natural light. It's great to hear the waves at night but it can be noisy, mostly from the other a/c units around.
The unit shows its age. The kitchen would benefit from some updating in particular. But everything was in working order, or when it wasn't was fixed within hours ( toaster wasn't functioning when we arrived and was swiftly replaced).
There are additional ac units in each bedroom, which I'm sure is nice when it's really hot, but it was 85 when we were there and the central system was enough for us.
Overall, we were delighted with our stay.
My family has stayed at this property for two consecutive years. We wanted to come back the second year because of it being on the beach. Being on the third floor so my husband, who has Parkinson's, can enjoy being on the balcony enjoying the grandchildren at the beach, if he doesn't feel like walking to the beach. The view is great. Using the outdoor grill in the communal area was very inconvenient for guests. The add does not include tax and fees. Housekeeping fee and damage control is $360. Damage control part is not refundable if there is no problem. No separation of the two figures. The stove is in need of repair or replace it. The eyes of the stove were impossible to use all of them. The refrigerator door always slammed open with no hinge attached to control the opening of the door. Both doors to the patio were very difficult to open and close. TV system is hard to work, it is a very good and comfortable place to rent, but too many negatives for the price. Thanks for listening.
The rental group was great to work with but the condo was not as presented, esp for the money.
The appliances were all in need of replacing or repair. The dryer would not stay on longer than 5 min at a time, the washer would only wash on warm (no cold or hot) the refrigerator slammed open when you opened the door- there was no hinge to steady it- this is painful when you have kids in and out of the refrigerator all day. The eyes on the stove were so crooked only one worked that a pot would not slide off. Only one door to the patio would open. My daughter (8yrs) slid twice in the shower causing bad bruising due to worn out skid resistant bottom in the tub. The guest helpful info was so out of date we could not even order a pizza without going on line ourselves to find something
All of the TVs are on different systems- being from out of town- makes it difficult to find stations when they are all different
To top it all off, the puzzles that were in the condo were all mixed together so basically worthless.
I will not go back to this condo. I notified The rental group of all of this before the end of our stay.
Loved staying here. Very short walk to the beach. Awesome views. The only complaint is that the wifi is VERY slow. Almost not like not having internet. Other than that, great place.
