Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Ew!!!!

Black goo on coffee table, outlets that didn’t work and the ones that did sparked, dirt tracks ground into carpet, kitchen sink faucet didn’t work properly, moldy rotting damaged window duct taped with warning sign on it, master bath shower mildew filled faucet handles, the list of nastiness goes on and on. Dune and Allen needs to divorce themselves from this property! Shame for letting small children stay on this property AND for charging us full price!

Thank you for review. We take your concerns very seriously, as we did on the day that you phoned our office to report the marks on the furniture. Our property manager tried to reach you by phone and email but we did not hear back from you. Also, our maintenance tech tried to reach you about going out to tighten the faucet in the kitchen, but we did not get a return call. The window was taped by the window company as they had to order parts. We apologize for the inconvenience and we will share your feedback with the owner. Please know the owners have plans to install new floors, paint, and replace the furniture soon. Despite the above, we hope you enjoyed the location and the beach and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

Wont stay at this location again!

While the reservation and check in was easy..it was downhill from there. The location is great when going to eat & shop BUT is located next to beach access where parties go on all night. We knew this in advance from reviews so I can't complain about that HOWEVER the parking issue was a constant nightmare since it was overflow for beach access and we would often have to park a mile from unit and WALK. This got old fast. We called mgmt but no response over the weekend. We drove to office but no one there...so we walked. They did call on weekday and say they would look into but problem never fixed. The unit was just ok. The carpet was filthy enough to turn your feet black and tv in living room didn't work (one in bedroom did). This was an expensive rental and we were very disapointed!

Not told stove didn't work

The stove didn't work and we couldn't bake. I told the office and they already knew the part had been ordered. The problem was they didn't tell me before I came down and I had bought baking items. Also they didn't refund some money for my trouble. I should have been told up front.

Needs Lots of Love

The location and the beach of this home is prime! The condo itself needs a major renovation and a good deep cleaning. The carpet and area rugs were very dirty- bring inside shoes to wear-, master bath had mildew in the grout, and grime around and on almost all the baseboards. Also, be advised...it says it is a private beach....not so much! After talking with the property management, this cannot be enforced. Beware- It can be quite the party beach on the weekends. Great if you like that. not so much if want a quieter location.

Condo in Dune Allen

Stairs and landings of building were filthy. Condo was not cleaned properly. There was scafffolding on both side of balcony with workers using electric grinders on the stucco. Dust all over everything. Worked traversing the balcony. Terrible experience so we left.

Beautiful and Quiet Beach

This place is on the older side but the condo is very clean. I have 3 young children (5 and under) and we fit perfectly. The beach access is a lot closer than what we are normally used to which was very nice. We would absolutely stay here again.

Dingy, dirty, uncomfortable.

Mattress in master very uncomfortable. Kitchen overhead and vanity lights had to be replaced while we were there. Hole with stuffing protuding in love seat cushion. Filthy carpeting! Balcony chair with sprung back. Nasty grout in guest bathroom. I took photos. I would appreciate a discount.

This unit was a back to back turn when you checked-in, and in order to get you checked-in quickly after cleaning, maintenance came after to change the light bulbs. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. This condo has a deep clean each year where the carpets are professionally cleaned. Even though this is a great priced gulf front condo, after reading your complaint, we did refund you some money back. Again, thank you for your review, and we hope to serve you again on your next Dune Allen Beach vacation.

Fantastic, loved it

We loved the condo. It was beautiful and very roomy. It needed a few things repaired and was missing a few essential in the kitchen but over all it was very clean, nice, pretty and a very good location. We would stay there again.
