Schöne, ruhige Lage in Pacific Beach. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist eine angenehme Abwechslung zum Hotel- und Moteleinerlei.

Perfect appartement & perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay here in the sea cottage! The appartement is independent so you have your total privacy. Everything is styled with a lot of care in the cottage. Marvin was very helpful and always available for questions and suggestions. The area was perfect, 15 min by foot to the beach and about 20 min to Garnett street, where you can find a lot of restaurants, bars and nightlife. There's a Bio supermarket on Garnet Street (Sprouts) nearby which I really recommend, try the pistacchio muffins :-)! We rented bicycles for just 10$/ day each (also a tip by Marvin) and cruised around the mission beach area. Downtown is about 15 min by car, it's nice to see for one day but the area here is much more beautiful and convenient. I would really recommend this place to everyone who searches an accomandation in San Diego near the beach :-).

This is a great little place. It was clean, comfortable and convenient for our stay. The wifi was very slow, and we weren’t able to stream anything at night, but that wasn’t a big deal. Perfect for a couple who is on the go while in San Diego. Pacific Beach is our favorite location with lots of food choices within walking distance. We will definitely come back to stay here!

Perfect with beautiful patio

We enjoyed everything about our stay in this cute beach cottage. The only improvement we could suggest is to upgrade the mattress and pillows. We appreciated the cute decor, the comfortable couch and table, and the supplied dishware and coffee. The patio is absolutely gorgeous, especially with lighting at night.

Extremely good value.

Ample parking, very safe neighborhood in walking distance of Trader Joe's, the beach is just a bikeride straight down the street. However, above and beyond the owner clearly cares about the property. It may not be brand new, but it's immaculate and the bathroom looks like it was recently redone.

Everything was wonderful except the bed was rock hard with flat pillows. A nice feather mattress and pillows, (4)instead of two would have elevated the stay to luxury.

Lovely, clean property

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights as we were going to a wedding in La Jolla which is about 4 miles away. Exactly as described on website. Close to shops and restaurants. Host replied quickly and was super helpful when we got in touch. If I was being picky I would say there was no kettle for cups of tea however we just ran the coffee make through a few times and used that to heat water. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay at the Sea Star Cottage

I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Sea Star Cottage. The cottage itself is adorable. I felt so safe the entire time, it's cozy, comfy with an AC unit, bathroom is so clean. There's a fridge (perfect for storing my snacks I picked up throughout the day) and a microwave. It's behind a fence, so it feels secluded from the road and very safe. Jeff and Andi are great hosts. They let me drop my bags off a few hours before check-in behind the cottage, where they were secure. The location is excellent! Pacific Beach is such a cool neighborhood and exactly the San Diego vibes you'd imagine. The cottage is 10 blocks from the beach. Bring some comfy sneakers and you can walk to so many restaurants, bars, the beach, Mission Blvd, Garnet Ave. You can even walk to Mission Beach along the boardwalk. If you Uber/drive to other areas, everything feels just about 10-15 minutes away. Very easy and convenient location. I can't wait to return to San Diego and stay at the Sea Star Cottage again! Bonus: Bode the French bulldog is sooo cute!

A Gem in PB!

This cottage was the perfect spot for a month long stay…….ideal walkable location, cute, clean and well equipped for light housekeeping. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating. Great as always!

This was my 6th stay at this cute beach studio. It’s my go to whenever I’m visiting San Diego. Bathroom is a convenient layout with instant hot water. The long counter above the sink is great for organizing toiletries. The grounds are beautiful and the furnishings are very comfortable. Lots of natural light but closes up tight for the evening. The space heater is plenty to warm the room and is silent. I’ll be back! Highly recommended!
