Dieses komplett eingerichtete Haus verfügt über ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer, einen Wintergarten, einen Büro- / Spieltischbereich, eine aktualisierte Küche, einen Hauswirtschaftsraum, drei Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer. Die Küche hat neue Geräte und Granit. Das Master-Bad ist "behindertengerecht" und verfügt über eine begehbare Badewanne. Die drei Schlafzimmer bieten Platz für sechs Personen (ein Queensize-Bett und vier Einzelbetten). Es gibt auch ein Queen-Size-Schlafsofa. Internetzugang (WiFi) und Kabelfernsehen sind inbegriffen. Vom angeschlossenen Carport führt eine Handicap-Rampe in den Küchenbereich. Es gibt eine überdachte Veranda, von der aus Sie den schönen Fluss Bon Secour sehen können. Was great as usual. The house is an awesome place to stay when on vacation. Very friendly and hospitable hosts and everything you need is there already, down to games to play. Large yard for children to play and the private pier for adults (kids too!) If you need a quiet, quaint place without all the tourist noise and hustle, this is your place !!

Our home away from home

This was our third stay at this wonderful location! We highly recommend staying here for a number of reasons. You get access to a private dock, it’s on a quiet street, the house has anything you could want or need, the property managers are quick to fix any issues that may arise, and you can’t beat the location. We weren’t ready to leave!

Best place to stay in Gulf Shores!

This was our second year in a row at this house and we already miss it. It’s located on the most peaceful little road,r right on the river. The house is huge! Plenty of room for the whole family!

We loved this property! There was plenty of room for our family of 8. Fishing off of the private pier was the highlight of the trip for our oldest. We can’t wait for our next trip to this location.

Spacious house close to Gulf Shores

Spacious house with three bedrooms had everything we needed. About a 25 minute drive to the beach but very close to the zoo, the Track, Target, and Publix. Great communication. Fit our needs very well. Owners were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Home away from home

This was a super easy rental! We have stayed in vacation rentals many times, and this was one of the better ones! The house is very homey; it feels more like a visit to grandma's house than a rental property, which was great for us. Everything was clean and comfy. The wifi worked great, and everything was easy to find. The neighborhood was really peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay! We'll be back again next year! Home was spacious and very clean, lot's of towels, kitchen supplies, outdoor space. Dock and view of the Bon Secour river was lovely. Neighborhood is very quiet, even though you're only a few blocks from shopping and restaurants galore! Lot's of room to park our boat and vehicles. Thank you Sonny and Penny for being so thoughtful and accommodating!

2nd enjoyable stay

This is the most comfortable rental that we have ever stayed in. It is like staying in a relative's home. Somehow it just seems really comfortable. We stayed here two years ago and plan on staying again. There is no through traffic. It's hard to believe that such a quiet neighborhood exists so close to the rapidly expanding areas of Foley. Penny and Sonny are super hosts.

Relaxing stay on the Bon Secour River

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely family homestead. We had plenty of room to spread out, whether sitting in the nice sun room or the large living room or even out on the screen porch. The updated kitchen was clean and well stocked with lots of cookware, dishes and utensils. Our dog enjoyed the large yard, and we loved sitting out on the private river dock just a minute's walk down the road. Penny and Sonny were terrific hosts. They responded right away to any questions or needs that we had, and gave us lots of helpful information about the area.

Absolutely amazing house with owners who make you feel like family!!!

I have been a VRBO user for years, but I have to say my experience with Penny and Sonny made me a feel more like family members than tenants or renters. We took our fur baby Winston and he absolutely loved the place! Their home was prestine and loaded with everything you can imagine or possibly need for a wonderful family vacation. We had our boat and they were so helpful in telling us the best places to access the water from even down to where to find fish! Such a comfortable home with gracious host. Don’t pass on this rental, you will regret it!

STAY HERE!!!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. From the check in to cleanliness everything was 5 STAR! Owners are absolutely amazing and communication was stellar! We stayed here for a week of softball tournaments. Our family had plenty of room. The pier was the highlight! Caught catfish, trout, redfish and mullet from the pier. Saw dolphins twice. Was told they usualy come through at 6am and 6pm. We saw them at 5:45pm one evening!! We will be staying here again at some point!!

Cleanliness

For the most part everything was fine I was trying to help out the morning I was leaving taking bed sheets off beds and found live and dead bed bugs. I had to leave pillows and covers that was used on the beds that had bed bugs so it wouldn’t be transferred back to my home. I reached out to the owner and Vrbo neither one could get ahold of owner for a refund since we are going to have to replace pillows and bedding er had to leave behind. I wanted to leave this review so everyone would be aware of the bed bugs before renting this home.

We do not have bed bugs! I have monthly pest control plus the housekeeper and I check often for signs of bugs. When you leave food on the floor, do not use provided trash bags for food waste, and leave dirty dishes and utensils all over the furniture and floor, you are inviting trouble. No pillows or linens were left behind nor did I get any communication about this problem from this guest.

Great place away from back

If you want a nice quiet peaceful place to stay away from all the hustle and bustle you can’t beat this house. The house is spacious, clean and well stocked. The only thing you can hear at night are the frogs and crickets. The river is only a short walk away. The beach a short drive away. We had friends over and they were really impressed with the quietness and peacefullness and the neatness of the house. Owners live next door, Penny came out and introduced herself and told us to call if we needed anything. Would love to go back again
