You are secluded in the mountains, it's very private and peaceful with a 10-20 minute drive to the surrounding towns and beaches. The hosts are very gracious and the property was very clean. I would come again.

A fantastic location for a large family trip

A casa tem todas as condições que se requerem para passar dias em família e com todos os confortos necessários e, para além disso, ainda contámos com a simpatia e disponibilidade do Sr. José e da Dona Fátima que sempre solicitos nos atenderam nos nossos pedidos extraordinários.

We have recently returned from our most wonderful stay in Sopo. José Carlos & Fátima were exceptional hosts and their property was simply beautiful. From the amazing scenery to the high quality of the property, it all contributed to an amazing and relaxing holiday.

We were 4 adults and enjoyed many days relaxing by the pool, along with days exploring the rustic and charming countryside. There were many places to visit within an hour's driving distance, including for us Porto, Braga, Carreco, Vila Nova de Cerveira, Viana do Castelo, Baiona & A Guarda. The river Minho provided activities including riverside walks and leisurely boat rides.

As we love seafood, we were delighted to find an abundance of delicious varieties locally... some we enjoyed in local restaurants, and some we brought home to BBQ in the peaceful surroundings of our holiday home. We could not have asked for more from our holiday.

The villa is gorgeous, with stunning views. It is out of the way, in a quiet location, but with a supermarket and restaurants nearby.

Jose was really accommodating, making sure we had a crib and high chair for the baby. We had issues with our flight being delayed, but he ensured it was no issue, and allowed us to check out late as our return flight was in the evening.

We will definitely be coming again!
