We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean, comfortable and well located, met all our expectations .
We are very pleased with our stay at King Row. It was very clean and close to everything in the square. The owners are very caring and always make sure things are going well. Will be back!
Great place! Clean, comfy, close to everything. Owner is really nice and easy to work with. Our family of six (husband, 4 kids ages 11, 9 , 3, 2 months and I) had a great time! I recommend the Marietta Diner for breakfast. Andrettis for something fun to do(arcade, go kart, food). Six Flags. AND The downtown area is very cool. We also went to the battlefield and the southern museum. ALL of these places and many more are within a 15 min or less drive. You can actually walk to the downtown area. Had a great time and would love to stay again!
Was a very cozy place to stay. Near shopping and museums which was a plus. The place was very clean. We had a great time.
The place was lovelier than pictured. We were a group of friends down for a wedding so we weren't planning on spending a lot of time in the rental. We were pleasantly surprised of the coziness and comfort of the place. Everything was spotless and the flowers added a special touch for us ladies. My only mistake was not inquiring more about the bathrooms. There were indeed two bathrooms but only one had a tub and shower. The other was a half bathroom. Oops! We worked it out and spent more time in the home than we expected.
The owners, George and Asenah, were the nicest people to work with. George is always pleasant no matter what he's confronted with. He is also very accommodating. Thanks so much George for all your help and suggestions. I followed them and all worked out well. Everything you need is in the house. Any problem you might have, George is a phone call away and can take care of it.
All in all, We had a great time and will check out some of your other properties in the future.
I'm pasting my email to the owner and his response, which speaks volumes.
We stayed at your property over the weekend. As a courtesy, I am communicating with you first, before I post a review on Homeaway and VRBO.
The house smelled musty, but opening some windows to air out the rooms wasn't an option because there are no window screens to keep mosquitos/bugs out. The bath towels and bed linens had a faint mildewy odor (at least the ones in the master bedroom, where I stayed), and, the main bathroom was not cleaned properly. There was dust on the toilet paper dispenser and that dispenser looked as if it had not been cleaned for some time. I have attached photos of the toilet dispenser and the bathroom light switch.
However, the biggest issue, by far, was the lack of mention in your listing about the proximity of the train tracks to your property and the possible impact on one's stay. The trains pass not just during the daytime, but many times throughout the night as well. This appears to make sense because they are freight trains. The beds shook and the trains sounded their horns for several minutes, each time they passed behind your house. It disrupted our sleep and significantly impacted our stay. That you choose to make no mention of the trains in your listings is disappointing, dishonest and misleading. The omission does not allow consumers to make an informed decision.
Hello Dr. Todd,
Thank you for your help in keeping our home to the highest standards. I know that you try to please all of your patients but sometimes just cannot for whatever reason. We obviously have failed you and even to the point of misleading which is even more troubling. The map tab that accompanies each listing on VRBO has a map which show critical landmarks such as train tracks. I am sorry this was overlooked as we only want happy people staying at our home. The train has been part of the Marietta history since 1830 .
We have other properties that do not have the train as part of the ambiance.
We appreciate your care of our home and have refunded your full security deposit
