The property is in a great location...very safe to walk arpund late at night and close to everything. We walked from there to the Vatican and all.arpund. the rooftop deck is lovely.

Excellent hostess, location and apartment

Communication was a breeze throughout the booking process and stay. Camilla arranged for a pick up at the airport. What a breeze to have someone waiting for your after your flight. Apartment is in a great area and the extras were greatly appreciated.

Rome stay in Trastevere

The rooftop garden is the star of the show, but everything about our stay here was great. Well-stocked kitchen, great location, easy access up one flight of stairs. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Lovely oasis of calm away from the bustle of Trastevere

The apartment was lovely, very comfortable and although just a minute of two from the centre of Trastevere it was so peaceful. The roof garden was very special offering a cool quiet place to relax after a busy day's sightseeing. A well equipped kitchen with a fantastic array of breakfast provisions. Camilla and Alessandra were wonderful hosts and made us very welcome.

Great apartment!

This is such a great location and apartment! Easy walking distance to great food and sites. Camilla is a wonderful host, is responsive, arranged transportation for us to the train station, and very helpful (plus she has the apartment fully stocked with snacks and drinks). Highly recommend. When we do return to Italy and visit Rome, we would book with her again without hesitation.

Awesome stay right in the middle of Trastevere. Host was highly communicative and responded timely. Allowed a slightly early check in upon request. Clean rooms and complimentary coffee/snacks was appreciated. Would recommend!

Excellent apartment in a perfect location

We spent 12 nights in this wonderful apartment in Trastevere in Nov 2024. The apartment has everything and the location is amazing, we'd have given it 10 stars. We walked everywhere: to the Vatican, to the Colosseum and Forum, just a few blocks around the backside to the Botanical Gardens, up the hill to the view points from the Faro and monument to Garibaldi, which you can see from the private rooftop balcony along with the Basilica di San Pietro. The parrots that live in the Gardens fly over the balcony. So many fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood, our favorite was Nannarella. We walked to Le Levain for croissant almost every morning. It's a short walk to Ponte Sisto and Campo dei Fiori. There are many mini-markets in the neighborhood and a Carrefour Express about a mile away. Camilla was incredibly responsive and we had no problems with our stay, we'd gladly stay here on future visits.

Excellent Place for a Rome trip

Garibaldi rooftop is a perfect equipped Appartement ideally placed in the heart of Trastevere, where you can find a lot of really good restaurants and bars (better price/quality) than in the center of Rome. From the Appartement you can easily explore Rome and most interesting Places By feet (Vatican 25min, Piazza Navona 15mins). Service and promptness of answers by the owner were always very quick and helpful.

The apartment is spacious and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Please note the roof garden is up two flights of stairs and the double glazing in the bedroom does not stop the noise of the traffic outside.

Perfect!

This was one of the most comprehensively stocked properties I’ve ever stayed in. A beer in the fridge, breakfast treats, a selection of coffee makers, beautifully stocked kitchen - everything you could need. Great Location and apartment

We couldn't have had a better location in Trestevere. It was 100 yards from the restaurants and had quick access to the pedestrian bridge over the River River into central Rome. Camilla booked our driver from the airport and met us at the apartment for an early arrival. The kitchen had some supplies for snacks and breakfast. It was perfect for my wife and I. Grazie.

Fabulous experience

Oh, we had such a wonderful time. The apartment was perfect. Very nice and clean, well stocked and a perfect location. Camilla and her mom were wonderful hosts. We were greeted with supplies to get us going and given help on a moment’s notice if we had questions about getting around. It couldn’t have been better. The Trastevere section of Rome is perfect and you can walk everywhere. Loads of great restaurants and shops and you can pack light because there is a great laundry a short walk away and they wash and dry your clothes in a couple of hours. And a beautiful roof garden. What a wonderful host and a wonderful apartment. With any luck, we’ll be back. Thank you Camilla!

Lovely Apartment in Trastevere

We enjoyed Trastevere and loved the apartment. Its location was perfect for easy access to Trastevere’s restaurants, cafes, shops and nightlife, and still within walking distance to all the major Roman sites. The property was clean and comfortable. The bedroom is large, with a comfortable bed. The kitchen was stocked with “get started” supplies like coffee, milk, cookies, etc. A truly thoughtful touch. It included a washing machine, which we used and appreciated. It can get a little noisy down on the street at night, but it settles down eventually. Camilla and her mother were very kind and thoughtful, providing many local dining recommendations, and booking and coordinating our driver from the apartment to the airport. My wife and I were very pleased.

Great roof top deck

Great wrap around deck - 65 steps up but worth it! A welcome respite from an overly touristed corso. A few small things would easily change this into a 5 star rating...bedding and furniture need refreshing, an upgrade on the mish mash of glasses etc. and better driving directions. The patio and outdoor furniture needed cleaning - and couldn't find cleaning supplies. Two seemingly neglected barking dogs on a terrace below were an unwelcome constant. But the deck and the views made up for all. We would stay there again but sadly mass tourism has arrived in Taormina and this was early October.

Absolutely incredible

I traveled solo to Rome for a week and had no clue what to expect — this was the perfect place for me! Camilla was responsive and helpful from start to finish. The apartment is clean, spacious, in the ideal location and stocked with everything! I felt safe walking everywhere — I never hired a taxi and walked all over Rome — even at night. The bed was comfortable and the best part is the bathtub — I like to take a bath every night and that is rare to find in Europe. It was wonderful to come home each evening and take a hot bath and soak the day away. Camilla answered every question I had and went above and beyond to help me navigate my trip. She arranged transportation to and from the airport and was responsive with every question. She sent me ideas, links, helped with the train schedule — everything! I hope to return to Rome someday and book with her again. It felt like home and I’m so grateful. I highly recommend staying here — you will not regret it!

Lovely hideaway in Rome

This apartment is a great place to call home while in Rome. It's as pictured in the listing, stocked with many thoughtful ammenities such as butter, half and half, morning cakes, all of which were really appreciated (in fact I've never been in a rental that's had such a nice amount of things already there). The bedroom is large, airy and comfortable. The bathroom is small but that's typical of Rome. We did not cook but the kitchen is well laid out. The terrace space is lovely- we bought sandwiches from the corner cafe and had lunch there. The neighborhood is in a great location, close to many cafes, shops and restaurants, a short distance to the city center. It can get a little crazy at night but the windows blocked out much of the that. Communication with Camilla was very easy and professional, she checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and helped arrange a few reservations. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment, especially as an alternative to a hotel. If you do stay, make sure to go to La Gensola for dinner, it's fabulous.

Lovely Apartment in Fantastic Location

My wife and I stayed in the Garibaldi Roof Garden at the end of February. It was just as advertised and as shown in the photos. The flat is one flight up from the street and very secure. The bedroom is on the street-side and as the windows are insulated the noise from passing traffic is manageable. The room is large with high ceilings and with room to stow your things. The living room is comfortable with a sectional sofa that (apparently) opens to a bed. A large screen television with access to Italian cable and Netflix, etc. Not that you will want to watch while in Trastevere. The kitchen is small but furnished with all that you need. Camilla and Alessandra provided us with yougurt, water, soda and other things. A very nice touch. The bathroom is light and airy. Lots of hot water with good pressure. And, of course, there is the private terrace on the roof. It is a walk up two flights of stairs and is a very nice spot. Unfortunately for us the weather was quite cool and were were not able to enjoy it as we would have hoped but I can see how it would be a great place to live during the warmer months. Camilla and Alessandra could not have been more accommodating and responsive. They were always a quick text away. They also had great restaurant recommendations. Well done! Finally, this was my first time staying in Trastevere. The flat was a short walk from everything and just across the river from the entire historic district. I highly recommend the Garibaldi Roof Garden.

Perfect apartment

There is a reason this is a 5* place with an excellent host. When we arrived, checkin was super easy and we didn't have to go out immediately to pick up essentials. Coffee, milk, snacks, drinks and even a couple of cold beers in the fridge were waiting for us. The location is superb, just minutes away from more bars and restaurants than you can imagine. Being so close to the night life can make it a little noisy to sleep as the bedroom is at the street side, but you are in the centre of rome, so you should expect a little noise. The garden is at the back, up two flights of stairs so is a perfect, quiet oasis when its time to take a break. Everything is within walking distance, and we had a great 4 days exploring. Our only disappointment was that so many of the sights were surrounded in scaffolding, but that is hardly the host's fault. The apartment is quite spacious, especially for a city location with some great touches like usb charging points in the bedside lamps. We really cant fault this place and will definitely return.

Great Location!!

Trastevere is a wonderful place to hang out when in Rome. Such a great neighbor with shops and plenty of great restaurants. Camilla is a great hostess! The place was set up perfectly for our arrival. We would definitely recommend.
