Earlier bookings often allow for upgrades to my top floor condo (sometimes free or very slightly more), that way you’d get an oceanview and a much bigger place - this place is fine for couples and singles but with families I’d definitely suggest the top floor condo - that listing number is 700416- you can ask for quotes on that listing too, or here first -(to compare). (Reviews reflect the person who wrote it)she blatantly lies...this extortionist wrote me a day after checking in how much she enjoyed her welcome gift(hawaiian print pot holders and matching towel set),snacks and how comfy the beds were since she ended up bringing extra people WHICH she didn’t pay for in advance to use the sofa bed&extra linens,towels,utilities. I’ll respond to individual statements she made but first want to cut and paste the most recent OTHER 4.8 star review out of the 37 positive reviews this condo received over past many years May 2021:I stayed at Nida's place for an extended term and had a wonderful time. She was very responsive whenever there were issues or questions and she provided many suggestions for local restaurants / activities / etc. The condo itself is in a great location in Kihei, with plenty of walkable amenities and the ocean right down the street. It's a cozy little unit that feels very homey. For remote workers - the internet was generally stable and functional for any work-from-home situations (although there were some minor issues with slowdowns). As others have mentioned, the unit is on the older side and is closer to S Kihei Rd than the ocean, but I felt these were factored into the very reasonable price. Overall it was a fantastic trip and I would recommend Nida's condo highly. And here Here was my first visitor last year: Sept 2020 with quarantine required: Rays review(on another booking agent): Nida was very welcoming and accommodating to challenging scheduling for this trip during the Covid-19 crisis. I am very glad I was persistent in coming, willing to quarantine and found a great host that I could make the appropriate and necessary arrangements with. The real character of the person comes out under crisis situations and Nida helped make my trip possible. Without her understanding I do not know my trip could of happened. The condo was more than I expected, the location was central everything I wanted to do and so convenient to daily activities that I walked to many stores and restaurants. I plan to come back to Maui and stay a few months again in the future and would want to stay in Nida's condo.👏🏻 there was only one birdpop and that is a rarity on third floor balcony so hopefully you’re lucky enough to have a lovebird to visit you? Or parrot that’s escaped lately here!- I am already almost always the lowest priced (oceanfront complex KIHEI)condo on this site& I aim to please honest people:-)🤓

Curtains repaired&The smell has been removed! -we had an unfortunate incident of someone putting something down the drain, see explanation later in this message. I wish this guest had bothered to call or text me:There’s a timer BYPASS switch for AIRCON use, guests who communicate can get things repaired or attended to and the painting was easily put back up onto the nail on the wall if the prior guest knocks down a painting then hides it behind bookshelf. This is the first person in 8 years who commented on the size of the bathroom, it has a full tub not a small shower(more common in condos)& was split to make room for a full size washer&dryer. So you have that perk in lieu of a bigger bathroom. Prices are high from Christmas to Easter to make up for losses in lower season. I get poorer reviews in high season and people are always super pleased with this condo when they get bargain rates other months. The BED IS SUPER COMFY, wifi reliable, lotsa cable tv stations, OCEANFRONT RESORT LOCATION and pretty quiet as she states in this review , this is a GREAT PLACE TO SLEEP, which is what you need to do along with well stocked kitchen if cooking 3 meals a day Hopefully you don’t have to spend much of your vacation in a bathroom when there’s an OCEANFRONT JACUZZI & pool (Other complexes the pool is behind the complex or on the road-front) The unfortunate smell was not there when condo was cleaned a few days before this guests arrival—dust also collects after a few days time as maui is very dusty everywhere and windy often. We had a few days gap after the last guest left and hadn’t washed some food down the drain so condo did have a musty smell which we found the source of after cleaning the whole place again, walls and all, it was just the drain, but it has been THOROUGHLY scrubbed and curtains restrung as cord had broken. Dear Deborah, Thank you for saying the condo had a well stocked kitchen and quiet for a great nights sleep(cooking and sleeping are important for what you need a place for on vacation)I hope you enjoyed your central and OCEANFRONT RESORT location and amenities), a phone call to attend to the aircon issue could’ve been a simple fix, had you asked me, I’m nearby the condo and my phone almost ALWAYS.

New sheets, towels and pillows have been replaced and I’ll have the airconditioner serviced. Had the guest told me during her stay is have been happy to deliver as I have shelves full of replacement items always on hand. The bathtub caulking needs replaced and is scheduled for 12/6/17, I noticed my 5 star resort reslcently had similar black spots on their white grout which is stained, not live mold, anyway, everything is fixed for the next guest that’s staying til end of February leaving 2/28/18. If you want March , book soon(it won’t last!) oceanfront Maui Sunset is a GREAT RESORT, I’m truly sorry this Guest got the years end sheets etc, before we restock for Christmas and 2018!
