Das Dome ist ein Einfamilienhaus, keine Eigentumswohnung oder ein Stadthaus mit lauten Nachbarn nebenan. Sie haben Ihren eigenen Platz auf einem großen privaten Triplex-Grundstück gegenüber einem der Wanderwege des Arapahoe National Forest. Großer großer Raum mit einem runden Kamin als Herzstück und riesigen Dreiecksfenstern zum südlichen Himmel für maximale Sonnenerwärmung. Angrenzendes Esszimmer für 6 Personen mit einem Fenster zur voll ausgestatteten Küche und Speisekammer.

Winter break stay

Very convenient to all ski resorts. Good for our group of 8 to stay together. A slight issue getting the heat to come down. Overall a good time.

A Unique neat home close to so many attractions

We conveniently drove to Lake Dillion, Frisco, and Breckenridge for stand up paddling, hiking, peak accessing and free gondola rides, and many other fun things. Colorado is so rich in out door activities and sight seeings. We will definitely come back again. Kevin is wonderful to work with. I enjoyed Colorado much better with Kevin at the background. Unique Stay perfect for a Family with Kids

The property is very unique- the shape and the design make you feel like you are in a tree house, and the fireplace in the middle of the house is a perfect gathering place. Everything in the kitchen and bathrooms was well stocked, even the firewood and lots of coffee. We used the provided sleds too. The kids had a lot of fun. The owner was highly responsive and accommodating. The location is convenient from Breckenridge and Keystone- 30/20 minutes drive to each. One thing I would mention is the heating system- it was not easy to adjust and it was extremely hot in the bathrooms at night until we tried different ways to adjust it. Recommend!

2020 ski trip

We love this property! This is our second annual trip up for our February ski trip. The location is perfect for Copper, Breckenridge, and Keystone. It’s very easy to get to with plenty of parking, even for our long bed beast of a truck. There was so much snow again this year. They have sleds for kids and plenty of slope on the property, my kids were outside for hours, even after a full day of skiing. The center fireplace is so much fun and adds something to the trip that just tops it all off. Kevin is fabulous to work with, very responsive and willing to help with anything. This is a great property for families or a group of friends, plenty of room to sleep and socialize and how many times in life do you get the opportunity to stay in a geodesic dome!

Had a ball in the round house!

I have always wanted to see what one of those "soccer ball" houses looked like inside. Wow, it is really spacious! This particular one is really well decorated, all the appliances work well, the WiFi and TVs are modern and quite nice, and the beds are comfy. We also appreciated an ample number of parking places, since all four of us somehow managed to arrive in separate cars. Silverthorne is slightly out of the scrum of Dillon and Frisco, but you can get there quickly from here. This place is set back in a nice quiet neighborhood. No problem sleeping with the windows open. Plenty of towels, sheets, pots/pans, utensils, dishes, miscellaneous helpful kitchen stuff and even baggies, plastic wrap, and other things you always need. The owner is a fantastic communicator, always responding quickly and in a very friendly manner. This is a great VRBO find!

Beautiful unique house with a nice responsive owner!

There were 10 of us that managed to fit just fine in the Dome. (One person slept on a couch, but it was comfortable!). This is a really nice house, it was clean and had all the kitchen and bathroom supplies we needed. You get some great sunlight in the evenings, which could make it a little warm in the summer, but I expect there's air conditioning too. The heaters were nice and toasty during the winter. The house is about a 30 min drive from the Vail slopes, that's where we went snowboarding. Kevin, the owner, was great to deal with and responded almost immediately. Only one small issue was that the key was mailed to us, and then we had to mail it back after, would have been much more convenient to have a secure lockbox on the property, or one of those code-enabled door locks. IglooHome is a company I've seen recently that's helping rental homes with secure ways for their guests to enter! The house was definitely worth going back to!

Great stay at the Dome Home

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the dome home. We skied in Keystone so it was a short drive to the slopes. The home was just as described and the rustics feel was a great touch. It had all the amenities we needed and our kids enjoyed the upper loft. We would definitely go again as our host made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He even notified us of local shops and eateries. Overall it was a great experience.

Great Place to Stay with it's own Unique Style

The Dome was a real pleasure to stay in --- Kevin was super responsive in reaching out before, during and after the trip. The Dome was VERY WELL equipped and had many amenities and supplies that have not come standard with many of the other places I rented. The Dome is centrally located and very convenient to the local ski areas Breckinridge and Keystone as well as others. Bottom Line: The Dome just stood out and I would happily stay there again!

Dome Sweet Home

The Dome was a wonderful, cozy, and comfortable place to stay! We especially loved the coziness of the centrally located fireplace and the sunlight from the south facing windows. The architecture of the dome certainly makes it a unique and fun place! A great place to stay! Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. It is located in a quiet neighborhood close to HW 70. The dome floor is spacious with comfortable sofas , a great place to relax after our long hikes. The kitchen has everything we need to cook for a quick meal. Kevin was so helpful and provided clear directions in checking in/out, and information about the house and the area.

Dome Stay

This is a truly unique cabin in Silverthorne. Encountered quite a bit of wildlife in the neighborhood including moose and fox. Great access to a nice trail network just a few steps away. Kevin is a responsive host who answered questions quickly. The house is clean and comfy with thoughtful extras such as laundry detergent, coffee, and for people with kids a pack and play, high chair and a few books.

A fun and unique experience

This house is fabulous. There were 5 in our group. We had plenty of room to spread out. The center piece fireplace is great. It keeps the house cozy and is very pretty to watch. The house is loaded with everything you need for a stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and functional. We had great proximity to Breckenridge and Keystone, which is where we skied. We had a couple of family member join us for dinner one night after their ski day at Copper. It was very convenient for them to swing by and wait out the traffic rush down to Denver. This is one of our favorite properties thus far and we plan on coming back next season.

This place was amazing. Everything we wanted and more!

It was so cool to pull up to this eclectic home. Inside was so comfortable and the patio was great. They provided delicious coffee, wonderful patio furniture for lounging on the deck, great laundry machines for keeping up on the sweaty hiking clothes and a cozy bed. There were just 2 of us in our group, but there was more than enough room to I bet comfortably sleep 10. It was clean too. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the dome. Go for it! You won’t regret it!

Great Family ski vacation

The Dome was as advertised. This ultra cool mountain home made our Colorado trip perfect. More room than we needed, the dome had everything we possibly could have needed. Centrally located minutes from keystone and all the Great ski resorts. Frisco and Dillion are very close as well. The fireplace was a perfect mountain touch. Our family of five could not recommend the Dome more. Our kids loved the secret fort in the loft. Kevin is an attentive owner and was ultra professional and helpful.

So unique! Amazing efficiencies with design and conservation of space. Buckminster Fuller had it right! Take a look at the pictures and imagine yourself in this cozy environment at nearly 10,000 feet, with a roaring fire in the circular fireplace. So quiet, it's hard to believe I-70 is 2 miles away. Great access. Always well plowed roads and driveway.
