Great location and faciilities. Hosts (Eric & Lisa) were very responsive to the one issue we had with the TV/video/DVD hookup. Hot tub was perfect. Location allowed us to visit other nearby spots to hike, eat, etc. But some days we simply stayed at the cabin since everything we needed was right there.

Nice secluded property well maintained and very clean. Good beds kitchen nicely equipped showers were hot. It accommodated 11 people for dinner easily. The deck was nice to sit on in the evening.

Murph’s Hideaway

My husband and I needed a little getaway and we are so glad we chose Murph’s Hideaway. The cabin is peaceful and charming but has all the comforts of home. We very much explored being able to sit out on the deck and just listening to the birds singing and watching the momma deer with her twin babies. The local towns are nice and friendly. We highly recommend this location and would love to book a return trip at some point.

Excellent rental.

Our cabin was really clean, beds comfortable location perfect! It provided great outdoor space, functional kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Everything was perfect!!

Anniversary getaway

We had a great, relaxing time here. Cabin was clean and as advertised, communication for check in/out was easy, and we loved the hot tub. Would definitely return in the future

Tranquility

If you want a place to escape all things and just enjoy a little peace and relaxation this cabin will meet all of your needs. It is exceptionally clean and has everything you will need for your stay. Bring a good book and some food and you are all set. Don't forget your bathing suit for the hot tub.just need tbosomfood

We enjoyed the natural beauty and serenity. Had my brother and his wife come over for dinner twice and also enjoyed the hot tub and wonderful star gazing. Can’t wait to come back next year.

grate time

very nice place truly enjoyed are time. only thing i would change is fire pit. but we are big in to having fires. would be nice if it was alittel closer to cabin. but grate place!

Great Cabin

The cabin was great in all respects. Great location, great communication with the property manager. Very clean and well equipped. We rented the cabin to relax with the family and explore the area. Hiking Wyalusing State Park was the highlight for us.

Murph’s Hideway for New Years

Great place to unwind. Property was clean and spacious enough for even our group of 8 adults. We did bring extra toiletries and blankets, would also recommend bringing additional towels too (especially if you plan to use the hottub). We would definitely stay with Knutson Properties again.

Weekend wedding

We attended a wedding at Vernon Vineyard and this was a great alternative to a hotel in La Crosse. We had our own mini vacation in a beautiful setting. Loved the hot tub and the cabin was perfect with all the different levels. This allowed the couples to have privacy yet plenty of space to gather together for meals, drinks & games. The neighborhood rooster was hilarious and the view in the fall will only be more beautiful.

Relaxing Cabin

Property was just as advertised. We needed help with the tv as I’m not good at that and the nicest gentleman came to our rescue almost immediately. Property is quiet and hot tub is in a private area. Nice bar in Ferryville called Wooden Nickle only a short distance away. Good food and people. Driftless area is well worth checking out. We had a family if deer each day I would recommend this cabin.

Weekend Getaway

Very nice place. We enjoyed a couple bonfires and relaxing in the hot tub. It was just my husband and I so we had l a lot of extra space but it was worth it to have some down time and quiet time.

Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I came here for 3 nights in late August and absolutely loved it! The area is very quiet and relaxing--the property is down a dead end gravel road which also has a good view of the Mississippi River at the end of the road. There was no truck or motorcycle traffic or businesses nearby, only the occasional sound of the chickens across the road. The neighbors were very friendly, too, and we enjoyed talking with them! The cabin itself was clean, spacious, and had good natural light. We liked the fireplace in the living room and ate several meals on the back deck/overhang. We appreciated the cabin is dog-friendly, too. I would definitely come back. Thank you!

The communication with Eric was great. Loved the location. The floor in the loft needs a sweep. Otherwise the house is really clean. Deck and the hot tub is real nice. Only complaint I would have is the fire pit is basically a pile of some rocks with no chairs.

Really cute cabin

Murph’s Hideaway is awesome! Very clean and has everything you need for a relaxing time with family and/or friends. Great location and the hot tub is really clean and nice! Lots of tables and chairs to eat at and very comfortable furniture. It’s like a home away from home!

Nice Cabin in the Bluffs

The cabin location is nice, and well built / furnished. It is towards the end of a bluff. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars all around is that the pictures don’t show that there is a neighboring home quite close, right out the front door of the cabin.

Lopez Family Retreat

We had a wonderful time in a spacious cabin located on a private road and one very friendly neighbor, who also respected our privacy and the woods as a backdrop behind the cabin and large landscaped yard with a nice view. Modern appliances and and well equipped for pantry items in kitchen, linens and basic needs. A nice deck with hot tub and patio furniture on the upper level and exit to backyard and woods from the lower level den and bedroom. Overall, very pleased.
