This is our 3rd time renting a house in Sunriver. This house was not up to standard. It was very old and worn inside and not very clean. The house is not kept up well and we were very disappointed! Sunriver is always fun and beautiful and we still enjoyed our vacation and time with family.

Perfect getaway spot

House was great, clean, and had everything we needed. Lots of room for our 2 families and the kids loved being able to stay in one room with the double bunk beds. Location was perfect and we were very happy with our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Great location for access to The Village and paths to Sharc, airport loop etc. House layout was perfect for family holiday visit. Kitchen supplies could use some replacement or additions but overall acceptable.

Always love sunriver

We have stayed at sunriver many years for family vacation.. kitchen is beautiful and master bedroom.. carpets filthy bathrooms weren’t clean nor was bedding and bedrooms.. first time I used VRBO to rent.. likely won’t use again.. pictures of home very deceiving based on reality.. definitely won’t re rent this home or utilize VRBO next year.

50th birthday bash-ish

We took friends with my family of 4 for my 50th birthday, including my son's professionally trained service dog and a friend's dog. Everyone had just what they needed -- biking, hot tub, swimming, lazy river float, quick drive/ride for coffee/groceries, well stocked kitchen, and perfect weather. We had a few things break and the property management/fix-it folks were responsive, kind, honest, and gave us a bit of a refund for the things that affected our trip. Wonderful way to be 50!

lacking in being clean. cleaners failed a passing standard

The property needs to be updated,equiped better, and air conditioning installed. The deck is rough and in need of replacing. The outdoor grill was a nice grill ,but hadn't been cleaned fo quite some time. the cleanliness was very lacking in kitchen and bathrooms. the shower door tracking was disgusting, toilet didn't flush. kitchen appliances were old and need replacing.I could go on!!!

Not very clean

I’ve rented houses at Sunriver numerous times and this one has to be the worst I’ve stayed at. House was incredibly dusty like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Bedsheets were dirty, had to have them changed out the next day by the cleaning company and even then the sheets were stained and looked dirty. Ended up sleeping on top of the comforters the whole weekend. Hot tub was not working, called the repair company and they came out right away to check on it, by the time they fixed it we were only able to use it the night before we left. Patio furniture was dirty and some pieces broken, couldn’t use them either. Will not even consider staying there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, our stay was met with several maintenance and upkeep issues. When we arrived, the refrigerator was not working and was warm, which was frustrating. The deck had multiple loose and soft boards, making it feel unsafe, along with the broken outdoor furniture we could barely enjoy the deck. The outdoor hose was broken, and several fans in the home were not functioning, which was inconvenient during the warmer days.The kitchen was lacking basic utensils, and did not have some of the listed kitchen appliances. The bikes provided were very old and in poor condition. It’s clear the home hasn’t been updated or properly maintained in some time. We’ve been coming to Sunriver every summer for over 30 years, and this home definitely stands out as one that needs some attention and TLC.That said, the layout worked well for our family, the hot tub was a nice bonus, and the location was great. With some repairs and thoughtful updates, this could be a much more enjoyable rental

Questions about cleaning company

We found a bedroom door had literally had the top two hinges pulled from the door frame (photos available if the owner is reading this). The first coffee cup we pulled from the cabinet (the last to be put away) had coffee stains around the rim. I don't know how the door could be overlooked by the cleaning services (it was propped open when we got there but when we tried to move it, it would not move and fell away from the frame) which makes we wonder if the cleaning service actually did anything. We also had 8 people staying five nights and there was only about 3 rolls of tp in the house (had to call mgmt and they delivered more). The house itself was what we were looking for. Good location, nice deck, SHARC passes, and a hot tub. Bikes are provided but are in need of work. Bring your own if you plan on riding a lot.

Anytime you are staying with us please do not hesitate to give us a call if you find anything that could make your stay better. We have staff on hand around the clock who are ready to help if needed. Our goal is to give our guests the best possible experience and it sounds like there were some items that were most definitely overlooked. I apologize that the home was not in tip top condition for your arrival. We can do better.

Annual sunriver trip

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was pleasant. Location was nice. Nice big patio. The house was not fully stocked on the kitchen very limited utensils, bowls serving trays,Paper towels a sponge to clean, so we had to go down to the store there buy a few things. The fire place we wanted to use but there was some weird stuff in it so we opted out. Lastly, the couches had lots of dog hair on them. I'm a dog lover so I didn't mind to much. The hot tub was amazing. The home was roomy, the rooms were big and bathrooms as well. Lots of towels and space. Close to the other side of the village where you can walk to stores, food etc. It did state there was bikes for all guests but there was only 4 in the garage and 2 had flat ties so that was a bummer too (you can rent them at the lodge) But we still had a wonderful time and had a great trip.

Thank you for the very informative review. We need to get feedback from our guests so we can make improvements as needed. Sorry about the bikes - a quick call to the office next time will get good results from our maintenance staff. Most of the other issues were easily fixable with a phone call to the office. We also have bike rentals here in Sunriver with coupons for discounts in our perks pack. I will have housekeeping make a list of things needed for the kitchen. Please come see us again soon.

4th of July Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After coming to Sunriver for over 35 years and rental multiple houses, this was a new location for us which we enjoyed. Being close to the Village and the Lodge was great with young kids for riding bikes and not having to go far. However, the house was very "tired" and definitely needs some repairs. The back deck is falling apart and seems to be a safety concern. All of the outside chairs were filthy and we had to clean them ourselves. There was no dishwashwer soap provided and the downstairs toilet has an issue that should be looked at. The layout and bedrooms were fine and spacious, great for small kids in the bunkbed room. There was old food garbage behind the kitchen garbage can so clearly was not cleaned very well. Some of the dishes, etc. didn't seem to be clean as well. Overall we had a great stay but would not rent this particular property again.
