Viele Besucher möchten nah am Geschehen in der Innenstadt von Gatlinburg sein und möchten nicht unbedingt so viel ausgeben oder brauchen alles, was eine Kabine zu bieten hat. Das heißt aber nicht, dass Sie in einem Hotelzimmer übernachten und alle Vorteile einer Ferienwohnung nutzen müssen. Im Gatehouse 106 erwarten Sie ein Kamin, eine Terrasse, eine große Sitzecke, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, in der Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten zubereiten können, und Zugang zu einem saisonalen Außenpool. Noch wichtiger ist, dass Gatehouse das jüngste Apartmentgebäude ist, das in Gehweite zur Innenstadt liegt. Es ist ein neueres Gebäude, das privat, gepflegt und ruhig ist. Sie haben also alle Annehmlichkeiten, um in Gatlinburg in einer neueren Einheit zum Kabinenpreis zu sein!

Sie genießen einen Gaskamin, eine verbesserte Küche, Platz für 6 Personen im großen Raum und 2 private Master-Suiten mit 2 Vollbädern und verbesserter Bettwäsche. Vielleicht möchten Sie sich auf der Terrasse am Bach entspannen oder den saisonalen Außenpool und das Spa nutzen.

Pros: Location; nicely landscaped, quiet and clean complex; spacious unit; comfy chairs on the balcony; nice view of the creek; great water pressure; convenient to grocery store; washer and dryer in unit; excellent communication from the unit’s property management company; and first floor unit close to the parking lot and enjoyable pool.Cons: the entire unit could use a thorough cleaning and painting; both bedspreads were stained; some of the towels were more gray than white; the jets in the en-suite tub were dirty; no grab bars on that tub/shower combo; and the carpet was stained.The cons were reported to the unit’s property management company and I felt the issues were taken seriously.We had a relaxing break and the location was convenient.
