There were 4 adults who stayed in this villa for a week. We were met by Ana and Jorge when we arrived and shown around. We were shown the washing machine, dish washer and how to use the villa alarm. This was a nice touch. The villa is very spacious inside and has a nice pool at the front of the villa which is in the sun for almost all of the day. There is a patio if you would like some shade. The villa was very clean and the pool was cleaned twice whilst we were there. The Four Seasons complex is directly across the road from the villa but it never bothered us as it was very quiet. Ideal location for the marina and Old Village. We will be using the villa again as it is more than we were expecting. The only negative for the villa was that there was no safe. But having said that we just set the alarm. It was very comfortable with more than enough seating areas and would easily accommodate 6.

Lovely spacious, clean villa. Pool was cleaned 3 times when we were there. Wonderfully friendly and accommodation host (Jorge), I have stayed in villas in the area for 30 years and never experienced such a lovely host. Nothing was too much trouble for him, from a welcome pack of groceries to the late check out, excellent.Lovely area, quiet but just a 15 minute walk or 5 minute uber ride to the gorgeous, vibrant marina where there is something to do for all ages and restaurants for all tastes.

A lovely stay, would highly recommend.

A very lovely stay which had everything that we needed. In a great location, walking distance to the local supermarket, bars and restaurant in the old village and a 5 minute drive to the marina (but could be walked). A great host who answered all of our questions and came to rescue us within 15 minutes when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful Villa

Lovely detached villa in a secure picturesque area . The villas in spacious, tasteful decorated and furnished with everything a family could need . The pool was clean, safe and benefited from day long sunshine. Overall, the villa was very relaxing , even had a table tennis room and games. The owner very hospitable and helpful , cleaning the pool every second day and advising on places to visit . The old town is 5 minutes walk with supermarket and restaurants. The beach is only 5 minutes drive . Felt like home from home but with sunshine and bird song

Met on arrival, given the tour. villa had everything we needed. Close to small supermarket, bakery, bistro & a few bars. Only had one issue (our fault) this was resolved within about an hour. Overall, can’t fault it. Will book it again

A wonderful villa for a family of 5

The location was perfect. In the Old village (2 mins away) there are a couple of good restaurants and bars and a shop. A 25 min walk will get you to the marina at Vilamoura which is full of great places to eat and drink. The villa is well equipped with a lovely pool to cool off in. The owner was wonderful, providing all relevant information both during the booking process and whilst on holiday. They also regularly clean the pool. Unfortunately the commercial bins across the road are emptied everyday at approx 6-30am. Which is an early wake up call on holiday. There’s nothing the owners can do about this of course. Otherwise it’s the perfect holiday villa.

Tranquilidade em Vilamoura

Família 3 pessoas, 1 semana em agosto. Localizada numa zona tranquila, a Marina de Vilamoura fica à distância de um passeio a pé de 20 minutos. As fotos mostram fielmente como é a casa, espaçosa, permite alojamento até 8 pessoas. A área exterior é suficiente, a piscina é pequena e tem 1,40 m de profundidade mas permite privacidade total. Casa extremamente limpa, tem todos os equipamentos e utensílios de cozinha, faltando talvez uma máquina de café expresso (há 1 máquina com filtro e balão) e 1 espremedor de citrinos. O espaço interior para parqueamento do carro é reduzido mas pode-se estacionar no exterior. Foi-nos permitido levar o nosso cão mas não é regra, deve-se falar com o proprietário, sempre preciso nas informações dispensadas e a quem agradeçemos a simpatia e disponibilidade. Em resumo, privacidade e tranquilidade total no centro do Algarve com acesso rápido a praias, comércio, restauração e itinerários principais.

Pontos positivos: Fácil comunicação com os proprietários ; As imagens correspondem à realidade; A casa está totalmente equipada; A zona em que a moradia se encontra é tranquila. Pontos negativos: Na véspera da entrada na casa foi-nos indicado que afinal o horário acordado para check-out não seria cumprido, pelo que teria de ser antecipado. Manutenção/limpeza da piscina em dias alternados, o que limita a privacidade.

Fantástico!

A propriedade é ainda melhor do que no anúncio! Não falta literalmente nada em termos de utensílios e eletrodomésticos. É uma casa muito espaçosa, com áreas ajardinadas a toda a volta, a piscina é grande e ideal para famílias, dispõe de mesas no exterior (junto à piscina e junto ao barbecue). A localização é muito calma, nunca tivemos problemas com barulhos numa área residencial como a desta propriedade - o sossego é garantido. Há ainda um supermercado e alguns cafés nas proximidades a uma curta caminhada, ou bons acessos a praias e supermercados maiores se for de carro (5 a 10 minutos). Fomos com boas expectativas através do anunciado, mas saímos muito mais surpreendidos e agradados! Sem dúvida que recomendamos e voltaremos. Os proprietários são incansáveis e a comunicação com eles é sempre rápida e eficaz.

Lovely place fabulous holiday

We loved our stay in Vila Sophia. Vila has everything you need to make your stay perfect. Beds really comfortable. Great location as so close to old village which has a shop, restaurants and bars. 20 mins walk into marina which was also great. Jorge looked after us and was on hand if needed. Would highly recommend and thanks for a wonderful experience.

Sympathic small villa with good location

We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Sophia in July. It was a perfect choice for a golfing family, small distance to Manu courses. Located on a quiet road, the only noice came from garbage truck which visited early in the morning. House was clean, kitchen well equipped and game room with a ping-pong table really liked also. Pool is small, as shown in the pictures. Owners Jorge and Ana were very helpful. Old Village in the neigbourhood with its restaurants and services is also a very nice plus.

Fantastic second visit

I have been to this villa twice. Once for a family visit and second a girls trip. Both experiences fantastic. Everything you need for a great holiday. 25 minute walk to marina and 2 minutes away from the beautiful old village with lovely restaurants. Pool was cleaned regularly and the owners are on hand with any queries you may have. Would go back again and again
