A great location for the pyramids

The property host was extremely helpful with lots of local advice. The property is hidden away with a great view of the pyramids, you need to be able to manage a couple of flights of stairs upto the front door.

The apartment was very clean , had everything you could wish for ,and is absolutely huge , to sit on the terrace and watch the sunset over the great pyramids is priceless! Incredible view ,soma is a great host ,always available if you need anything ,if I ever returned to giza I would only stay here

View of a lifetime!

Place was extremely clean and comfortable. The best part was Soma the property manager. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend and will be back again in the future.

Usa family egypt trip.

We where in the lap of Egyptian luxury, ac worked flawlessly, view was great! The manager also did more than expected for us, she ordered food and did extra cleaning of the porch!

Our Family Trip to the Pyramids

The proximity to the pyramids and the view was incrdedible. Seems like you could almost touch them from the windows and rooftop area. Surrounding area and walk down the alley was a little uncomfortable, but our drive helped to clear some ruccus that was occurring and the lady that met us there to give us the keys was incredibly welcoming, helping us get situated in the room, checking in on us periodically and meeting us early in the morning to aid us in our departure.

Amazing spot and great welcome!

The property was as advertised or better! Great view of the pyramids; we could watch the pyramids light up at night. It's a 10 min walk to the pyramid/sphinx entrance. There are camels and horses all along that area, which gives us a unique ambiance. Lots of little streets to walk through. The owner was very welcoming; she even baked us a local dessert one night. Thanks for the stay!!

Wonderful Visit

This was my first visit to Egypt. We were met at the airport and helped through customs. The view was fabulous. We arrived after dark and the walk from the car to the apartment was very dusty; although I was expecting sandy, the thick dust was unexpected. The apt manager was 5 Star great. She arranged wonderful transportation and was extremely friendly and helpful.

Great time and fun location

When I visit a new place, I like to stay in local neighborhood for a truer feel for the country. This apartment did not disappoint. We need to look both ways for camels, carriage and horses before stepping out of the unit! Loved it!! Watch the Giza light show every night from our terrace! Soma was wonderful and would immediately help us with anything! Her young daughter was also a lovely host!

"What an amazing get-away...

"What an amazing get-away! Fantastic accommodation. Perfect for relaxing after a days sight-seeing. Friendly staff with a depth of knowledge, always willing to help and advise you. We not only had a great stay but a totally unique experience that was tailored to our needs. As for the location we really could not have stayed any closer to the pyramids hence the great views and ease at which we could explore the sights and Egyptian culture. An unforgettable insight to Egypt’s ancient civilization and a truly cultural experience. Highly recommended."

Very nice stay!

This is a great place if you are NOT the 4 Seasons type and are more "on your own and let's explore" type! From the beginning, Soma was in excellent communication. Everything went as planned. The pictures are accurate, and the papyrus paintings on the walls are exquisite. The view is amazing, yes! Everything was very clean. The flat is really close to Pyramids. You can walk to the entrance. But don't be high-manteince because walking to the 'action' is a brief but dusty walk while camel and horse dodging. I highly recommend this place!

"I visited Cairo with my family, total of 5 people. We had a nice stay in this apartment. It is a confortable, spacius and well equiped property. The view of the pyramids from the balcony is wonderful. Considering that Cairo is a city with urban infrastructure gaps, the vicinity of the apartment is not different from this. Therefore, the visitor must set his expectations having in mind this reality. Most of all, Soma, the property manager, was helpfull and supportive in every request or necessity that we had. She was great!"

Amazing, scenic and serene.

Each moment of watching the Giza pyramids from the balcony, seemed like th first time. Soma was excellent in responding to our needs. She organized one of the special evening dinner on the Nile cruise which was exceptional. Ahmed the driver was super efficient always on time. The apartment is superby located while sipping a drink at the balcony with the breathtaking Giza pyramid within full view. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening strolls into the market areas and a walk through the neighborhood. Everyone seemed so so friendly. The highlight of the trip was to stay among the locals and yet feel comfortable, safe, secure and adventurous.

This is the first and last time this has happened regarding the gecko who has entered the apartment, we are sorry, it can happen in any house, normally the customer calls us and we arrange for the cleaning as we did. We strongly remind our customers not to leave and forget the open balcony door that connects the accommodation.

Wonderful location, incredible view, big and clean apartment, great hospitality!

Thank you, Soma, for your care and dedication. My partner and I (we're from Spain and Germany) visited Egypt for the first time and stayed 3 nights in Giza. We didn't spend too much time in the apartment, as we explored the pyramids and the famous Khan El-Khalili Market, but the time we did spend, we felt at home. Be aware that if this is your first time visiting this exact area, don't be surprised by the sandy roads, horses, and camels nearby, as this is a tourist area - however, it is very quiet in the apartment as the windows are double glazed, you will not be bothered by the outside sounds. Soma was very kind and attentive and met our needs immediately and with much care. We hope to come back again soon! With love, Charli & Heiko

Authentic Cultural Experience in Cairo.

I spent 2 months in this apartment, and it was as described. The view to the pyramids was great and the cleanliness of the apartment was top. The apartment is located directly with the locals, who were super friendly and always helpful. From there you see a true picture of Giza with the camels, horses and TucTucs. Nearby are enough stores to get food and also other important buildings such as exchange or pharmacies. Also on arrival everything went top, she was already waiting for us at the house and regularly asked if I was well or if I needed anything. I am very grateful for this. I felt totally comfortable during these 2 months. I would definitely recommend this apartment!

Iconic view, comfortable apartment

The apartment is very nice, all the comforts of home are provided. You can see the pyramids from the balcony, living room and two out of three bedrooms. The hostess is excellent, she arranged transportation from the airport, guides, PCR tests, everything. At one point before we arrived we thought we'd need to get booster shots while there and she even arranged that, it just worked out that we were able to get them during our previous stop. As far as location, it's a mixed bag to a degree, simply because the area around the pyramids is so lively. The apartment itself is on a side street, but you still hear a lot of human and animal activity during the night. For me, this just added to the excitement of being there, though I do generally prefer a quieter atmosphere. However, that's the trade off for being literally a stone's throw from one of the most famous monuments in the world.

Amazing apartment and view

The view is literally heart-stoppingly amazing, both from the apartment and the giant roof terrace. At all hours of the day, it seems like a fairy tale. The apartment is incredible as well. Comfortable and accomodating in every way. Full kitchen, big comfortable beds. The apartment is spectacular. And for the price, it's a ridiculously good deal. Soma, you host, could not be better. She is very responsive and accomodating. As an example, she did some light grocery shopping for me on the first day of. Ramadan. Above and beyond as a hostess.My only caveat is that the location is a bit funky. Its on an alley a bit off the main street. You will probably need to get some specific instrutions or have your transpot talk to Soma because it is not easy to find the first time. It is not an inconvenient location, but it's not like you ask for #202 Baker Street and find it on your own.Other than the somewhat sneaky location, though, it is a real gem.

As advertised, this is a excellent Giza Pyramids view , including night light/ laser show , Soma was the perfect host , from attending to any small issue instantly to being available for any and all inquiries eagerly.The apartment was very clean and functional and as advertised, Soma was able to arrange for help with our luggage and we strongly recommend arranging for guided tours , it’s really impossible to enjoy your visit without a local guide and Soma is also able to assist with booking your tours as well . The neighborhood is among that of local Egyptians , so horses and camel stables are on the suburban streets, it is the perfect property for that home town feel with gracious hosts.Part of the local experience is getting a little sand in your shoes or seeing a small Greco scurry across the patio, they eat bugs and are part of the Egyptian ecosystem and are harmless . Again we would highly recommend this property, you are in good hands with Soma , and having someone you can trust close by while staying in Cairo is priceless.

Very nice flat!!!

Soma's apartment will offer you an authentic Egyptian experience. Your first impression may be a little surprising as it is in an area close to the pyramids and there is only sand leading you to the building with many people on camels and horses as well as goats in the street. When you get up to the apartment you will find a lovely air conditioned spacious apartment, very clean and comfortable. The price is very reasonable and she has all of the items you will need to settle in for a great vacation. The best part is in the evening watching the sun set from the balcony as you look out at the pyramids. Amazing. Soma can also help you find a tour company to help you get around the city. The traffic is horrendous in Cairo and guides are very reasonable. I suggest that you ask to be set up with Amany who is with World Tour to Egypt. She did an amazing job showing us amazing sites in Cairo. Soma lives near the apartment and was very available to us when we had questions. She is a lovely person and helped make our trip to Egypt a safe and incredibly interesting experience.

Alles Top,Die Gastgeberin Soma ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und in dem Apartment hat man jeden Menge platzt und es ist einem guten Zustand.Das einzige was stört, ist der Standort, weil man von der Hauptstraße aus vielen gassen überqueren muss um in das Apartment zu kommen daher ist es nichts für schüchterne Menschen oder reine Frauengruppen geeignet aber für Familien und Reise erfahrenen sehr gut geeignet

Pyramidenblick

Der Blick auf die Pyramiden ist wirklich atemberaubend! Egal ob im Morgenlicht, mit Abendrot oder bunt beleuchtet bei Nacht. WLAN läuft gut und der Kontakt zu Soma ist perfekt. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung selbst ist okay, aber die Umgebung und auch der Hauseingang selbst sind für Europäer gewöhnungsbedüftig. Die Betten sind komfortabel und Platz ist auch genügend in der Wohnung. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist minimalistisch und im Bad ist nur Seife vorhanden. Insgesamt würden wir einen Aufenthalt weiterempfehlen.
