The balcony view of the Sea of Marmara was nice. The kitchen was small but functional. Our host was amazing and went out of his way to help us with a baggage problem even driving us back to the airport to fix it. And the location was an easy walk to all the main sites. My friends and I had very nice time in Istanbul and enjoyed our stay here very much

My wife and two boys (10 and 12) loved staying in this great place- and had plenty of space for the four of us (unique for a downtown apartment). We were able to walk through IST, enjoyed our time in the apartment and had any issues quickly addressed. Would stay here again

Wonderful Istanbul

What a wonderful view of the Mamara sea from the balcony.Our check-in was very late and we really appreciated the smooth transfer from the airport and Ugur being there to greet us.

Great Location

Great apartment for my 2 sons and I to stay. Close to Sultanahmet Square, tram and reasonable walking distance to Eminonu for ferries. Great communication with Yuksel. He arranged transport from and to airport, same price as taxi and much more convenient.

What a nightmare!!!! Do NOT stay here unless you want to be tortured by the host, Yuksel. As three females, we were terrified by his rude demeanor and did NOT feel safe staying here with this gruntled man. The pictures are extremely deceiving to begin with, the place is so much smaller. Yuksel has falsely advertised many areas- there are only 4 twin beds, but says it sleeps 6?! There is no tub as advertised. The air conditioning doesn't work in two of the rooms (and he failed to notify us). There are no elevators, and a massive staircase levels up in order to get the entrance. The wifi is extremely spotty and we had so many issues, that he ended up kicking us off the wifi after I complained. He is extremely unprofessional and retaliated against three women. How sad to be left with this impression in Turkey. Lastly, I spoke to the local police, do NOT allow this man to take photos of your passport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great apartment in walking distance to key attractions

The 2-bedroom apartment was well-appointed and clean. It has its own balcony plus access to a roof deck. The kitchen has all the basics and the furniture and beds were comfortable and clean. There is a small market across the street for basic needs plus larger ones within a couple blocks. The location is ideal for anything in the old city which can be reached with a short walk or utilizing the T1 tram. New City can be reached by tram or subway as well. Besides the numerous historical sites, there is an endless number of restaurants, cafes, and shops plus, of course, the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market.The property owner coordinated our transportation to/from the airport and was responsive to any inquiries, as well as checking in during our visit to see if anything was needed.Definitely recommend this apartment - the only caution is that there is a mosque about 50m away on the bedroom side and the 5x daily calls to prayer (including overnight) are broadcast over loudspeakers so make sure to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Great location!

Central location within walking distance to all of the attractions in the old city. If you like to walk, you can honestly access almost all that Istanbul has to offer on foot. The apartment is very light and airy. The main living space gets wonderful afternoon sunshine, and is a very cheerful space. Both bedrooms are a comfortable size, with closets for hanging and folded clothes. The kitchen is well appointed, although we didn't do any cooking (only coffee). The patio space can fit a few people comfortably, and is a nice place to wind down after a busy day of sightseeing. The view is lovely. Our host, Ugur, was tremendous. He was very kind and helpful. He arranged transportation to and from the airport, met us at the apartment when we arrived, and even saw us off when we departed for the airport at 2:00am. He checked in with us on occasion, always replied promptly to our inquiries, and helped us with tickets to some venues. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
