The flat is bigger then it looks in pictures and is perfect for a long term stay in Montreal. It is equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine, coffee machine, and all kitchen amenities. There was also a beautiful balcony for overlooking the garden during early morning breakfasts (i really loved watching all the birds in the garden). The house is in a very safe quiet residential area that is a two minute walk from the metro (and has access to the green line), which was so handy!!! You can get to pretty much everywhere in Montreal from that metro station!! Also, the landlord was really accommodating and very lovely!! I had a late flight to Montreal and arrived late at night, and he brought me some ingredients over to cook for my dinner. He also has a map of Montreal and a guide to the metro on the wall in the kitchen which was incredibly helpful for someone who had never been before, and he explained which shops were nearby for groceries. He also was easy to contact if i needed to, and lives in the apartment below.Overall the apartment was lovely, had everything you need, is in a great area, and the landlord was friendly and accommodating. I felt safe there and would definitely book again the next time i am in Montreal!!

"Nice appartment for two ...

"Nice appartment for two or three people, well, equipped and clean. Quiet side road, two minutes walk to basic shops or to metro station (10-15 minutes to city center). The owners are very nice and helpful. I would come again (maybe next time in summer without snow)!"

"Come in and you feel right at home" This bright and friendly apartment has been furnished intelligently and with great attention to details. From the first moment, we felt being at home. The owners are very welcoming and available immediate advice and support. Both are very open personalities, multilingual, and very trustworthy. The quiet residential area offers a perfect contrast to the pulsating centre of Montreal. It is particularly suitable for those who want to relax on the balcony with a glass of wine after the numerous impressions of a world city. The park nearby is suitable for outdoor recreational activities as well as an extensive family picnics. The contact with Mr. D. was very efficient. He answered directly to our request, established telephone contact to verify our identity and was open to the flexibly of our stay."

Perfect

Excellent experience! I stayed a month in the apartment. The place is really clean and cozy. It is totally equipped and has everything you need for your stay: washing machine and dryer, towels, tv with netflix, good wifi, kitchen utensils, etc. The owner lives downstairs and he is very attentive and gentle. The coffee machine stopped working in the middle of my stay and he quickly brought me a new one. On another day, an amazon package arrived and I wasn't at the apartment, so the owner received the package for me and kept it safe until I returned. In this case I think I wouldn't have any issues if the package stayed outside too, because the neighbourhood is very calm and quiet. Finally, it was really handy to be near the metro, fast and easy access to downtown where you can hangout and know cool stuff.

One week stay 24 - 31 May 2018

There is nothing to say other than everything was perfect! I will certainly return if I can. The apartment was spacious with all the amenities I needed; the hosts were extremely welcoming; the location is conveniently near the metro, shops, and other businesses in a pleasant neighborhood. Really nothing I could ask for except perhaps a tiny discount as I don't have a very big budget. Definitely a strong recommendation from me! Thank you.

Pleasant property, but not suitable for mobility impaired travelers

The property was pleasant, quiet, close to the metro, a supermarket and pharmacy, and the owner, Mestapha, was responsive and very nice. However, anyone with a mobility impairment should be aware that you have to climb a steep two story circular staircase to access the apartment (which is not uncommon in Montreal.) Guests should also be prepared to spend their last morning cleaning the apartment, per the contract. Finally, the contract requires the guest to keep the stairs and landing free of snow. If it had snowed, I would have found shoveling snow/ice off the stairs to be fairly treacherous! These features of this otherwise comfortable rental should probably be included in the advertisement.

Toronto Visit

We were in Toronto to visit with our son and his girlfriend. This year we decided to try VRBO instead of our standard hotel. We have used VRBO in other countries and have had great success. This stay was no exception. The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean, attractive and the location was great for us. We didn't even have to get metro tickets this year. Elena was very accommodating, even arranging a late night parking space for us in the attached parking garage after we had at the last minute rented a car for the day and were too late to return it to the rental agency. Elena was quick to respond to any of our questions. We will definitely check this out again for future visits to Toronto and would not hesitate to recommend this to family or friends.

Merci beaucoup !
