Viva La Kiva ist ein wunderschönes Haus am Strand mit echtem Küstengefühl. Es verfügt über 6 Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, jeweils mit eigenem Bad, Aufzug und eigenem beheiztem 10 x 28-Zoll-Pool. Es hat einen atemberaubenden Blick mit breiten Veranden, die sich über die Breite der drei Ebenen des Hauses erstrecken.

Die untere Etage hat einen hübschen Eingang, eine abgeschirmte Veranda mit Blick auf den privaten Pool, ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett sowie ein Twin-Daybed und ein Twin-Trundle, ein Vollbad, eine Wäscherei und die Garage. Der Pool kann für 50 USD / Tag beheizt werden.

Die mittlere Etage verfügt über ein Familienzimmer und 4 Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, jeweils mit eigenem Bad.

Die oberste Etage verfügt über einen großen Wohnbereich mit atemberaubender Aussicht, einen riesigen runden Esstisch, den unsere Gäste lieben, eine Küche, eine Gästetoilette sowie das Hauptschlafzimmer und das Bad. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett sowie eine Nische mit zwei Tagesbetten und zwei Rollbetten.

Das Viva La Kiva im Kiva Dunes Beach & Golf Resort befindet sich an einem riesigen Strandgrundstück und bietet Zugang zu Tennisplätzen in der Nachbarschaft sowie zum Golfplatz und zur Lodge.

The house was amazing and accommodating for thirteen of us…plenty of room! The elevator was a plus, especially since the kitchen is located on the top level. The views were spectacular, and we loved the secluded location…definitely hope to return for another visit soon.

Spring Break 2024

Amazing house and property with everything that is needed. The kids loved being able to go from the pool to the beach and then back and forth again and again. For a house of this size it was amazing how clean and spotless it was. Hats off to the cleaning crew that takes care of this property. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and would stay again for sure.

This is our 2nd year at this house and we love it. There were 11 of us and we never feel on top of each other. The view is amazing and the pool is a nice extra. Lots of chairs to borrow from the house.

Summer in the south after 40 days of rain unfortunately means there are lots of critters outside. The pest control company has been out to treat the yard. The dishwasher leak was caused when it was opened during operation so it seems to be ok. The water from the dishwasher did create a water stain on the ceiling below. No rot. For 2023 you'll see a completely new kitchen and more.

The only real downfalls were that the pool wasn't heated when we arrived and took a couple of days to get warm...and not to the 88degrees advertised. The elevator was also hit or miss...needs to be looked at. All in all we love Gulf Shores and the house. Next year we will pick a warmer time of year to enjoy the ocean.

We had great communication with the rental company anytime we needed something. There are a few things that would be helpful to have in the home and I submitted those items so hopefully they are there when we return next year. It’s our 4th trip to Gulf Shores and the 3rd house we have stayed in and the area and house are our absolute favorite!! The added and included activities are a huge plus. Our group enjoyed the fishing trip, miniature golf, golf, dolphin cruise and parasailing (some multiple times during the 11 days we were there).

It was a beautiful place. Loved the pool, beach access, and privacy. Biggest complaint is fix your elevator!! We had to call at least 4 times about it. There were several of us who needed it and booked the house because of it. Also when you are on vacation you should not have to wash all the towels and fold them. It is one thing to load the dishwasher but should not be required to put up the clean dishes. We pay a cleaning fee so clean!! Overall had a nice stay.

Thanks for taking time to leave comments--we appreciate it! The elevator was fixed within a couple of days. I think the elevator repair person told you about the part that had to be ordered. We ask you to get the towels started--that way they are not left in wet piles on carpet, beds, etc and it radically reduces the number of lost items left under towels. If you liked it this year, we think you'll really be pleased next year. We have some updates coming this winter that we think will leave you smiling.

Great stay from 13 women, but............

We loved our stay and rebooked for next year. Especially loved the round dining table that seated 13 perfectly! However we trust that the water filter/dispenser on refrigerator in kitchen will be fixed. (We had to bring in many gallons of water for coffee and drinking as we were told in grocery to not drink the tap water) AND we hope all doors and accesses are properly secure. We had several sliding glass doors that would not lock properly. We look forward to next yr. With an extra day added.

The house has survived the storms...we missed the Full size refrigerator in the garage, the small sofa and 2 missing chairs beside the kitchen, a chair in all the bedrooms, the second floor kitchen area and chairs... with our normal full house we were sitting on top of each other and at the grocery everyday for milk. Everyone who came by the house was very helpful, fast and friendly!This year the garage was sparkling clean. We hope to be back next year.

Worked perfectly for our family, giving each of my 4 kids family's their privacy as well as more than enough common space for meals, games, and fun both inside and out. We had 3 occasions to contact the owner during our stay with questions and they got back to us immediately and solved our concern. Best hosts! Location is 25 minute drive from town, but worth it if you value privacy and want to treat yourself like the rich and famous for a week ~ If you have the opportunity to spend a week in paradise, I highly recommend Viva La Kiva.

Great Place but don't expect to re-rent same week

We rented it in 2023 and re-rented it for 2024. However when we tried to re-rent for the following year prior to end of our stay, GSVR allowed someone else to rent our timeframe for 2025. I understand anyone wanting to stay here. All rooms are king suites and first and 3rd floor ensuites have extra sleeping of twin & trundle or queen size murphy bed. Love the living area is on top floor and the large round table is awesome for a large group. We are so sad that now we have to go back to the drawing board to find another place for our group. NOT HAPPY about that!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home, well stocked except we could not find an iron or blow dryer. Due to the open design the house can be a bit noisy, maybe an area rug could help cut down. Although, the house was clean the wood floors were not. GSVR was very attentive to any issues we brought to their attention, but we did lose the signal again on the main tv, maybe some written instructions could have assisted us in getting the signal back. We were very disappointed an agreement could not be reached to allow us to rent chairs/umbrellas in front of the house. WARNING-We love staying in Fort Morgan, but please bring bug repellant(the No See Ums were awful!)

The iron is in the bottom floor laundry but we do not provide blow dryers, you'll want to bring those. Please let us know if you find something is not cleaned appropriately--we will absolutely come remedy that although we hope to prevent it in the first place. Kiva Dunes seems to have resolved the beach service issue. When you call them you ask for "beach service for the west side" which means in front of the private homes.
