Would Book Again

We had a great stay. Condo was clean and furniture/kitchen appliances were on the newer side. Pool was within walking distance as well as lake. I would must definitely book again.

Easy walk to pool and drive to beach. Tidelife staff was soooooo friendly and made check in/out super easy. I think the unit could use a carpet cleaning, thats my only suggestion. :)

Home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This residence has been my place of serenity for several years as I escape the harsh NE winters. This year I was treated to the surprise of a completely renovated kitchen! The unit is well cared for and its beautiful surroundings add to its appeal. Relaxing on the screen porch with its grand view of the marsh and all its wildlife is an extra treat. I look forward to returning for my stay next year!

Relaxing getaway

The unit is connected to other apartments, but you would never know it! We loved the privacy, space, and little view into the marsh. The kitchen and living spaces worked wonderfully for us, and we loved the location in Litchfield by the Sea. We hope to go again!

Fun beach trip!

My family absolutely loved Litchfield by the Sea and this property. Check-in was seamless and the condo was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and had plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 children. Our children especially loved playing on the screened-in porch. We made the 2 minute drive to the beach and parked at the beach club which was very convenient with showers to wash off sand, clean restrooms, etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful family vacation

Our family of six (5 adults, one teen) had a wonderful stay. The condo looks exactly as it appears in the photos. This location is very private in the Litchfield By the Sea community and the pool is small but that suited our family. The cable TV and wifi worked well. The kitchen is well stocked —have never seen so many glasses! The towels and linens were fresh. The living room couch is worn but that’s typical in a rental unit. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

Wonderful place to stay

We really enjoyed our week at the condo. It was very clean and well stocked with towels, dishes, etc that we need for the week. It was very spacious. There are only a few steps to get to the unit which was nice for my older dad who was with us for the week. Everything was as described and we would definitely stay in this unit again!

Winter retreat/ Spring awakening!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've had the pleasure of enjoying my winter and spring as a long term renter here in Marsh Hawk 4B. This unit is spacious and sun filled, with a lovely view of the Marsh and its variety of birds that come and go every day. The unit is well equipt with a generous supply of linens and kitchen needs. Marsh Hawk is one of the clusters in Litchfield by the Sea, and provides access to the beach club, tennis courts, and all that is available in this well maintained gated resort. We have our own pool as well, with plenty of seating provided. The walking paths are great for exploring all around the resort. In fact, it's only a short walk from the unit to the beach describe the beach itself, it's the best on the coast!! Any needs you have are addressed easily, with a shopping center across from the gate. You'll find a pharmacy, grocery store, a gym, and multiple restaurants right there. Travel south on 17, to Pawleys Island and you will spend days shopping, golfing, eating....just enjoying yourself.There are several plantations to visit, and the beauty of Brookgreen Gardens is not to be missed. Travel north on 17 to Murrells Inlet and its famous MarshwalkThere are a few boat tours on the Inland waterway that are fun to try.Needless to say, I truly enjoy my time here. Best wishes!.

Great Vacation Spot!

Love Litchfield by the Sea! Great vacation spot. Condo was immaculate, and very spacious. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there the next time I'm in Litchfield.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was good. It was a good 5 min drive to the beach and then a 5 min walk from the parking lot. The pool was insanely close, however we would have appreciated more lights in the pool area. I believe that had nothing to do with the owner of the condo, but wanted to point it out. Lots of deferred maintenance on this condo. For what was paid, we were hoping for better. Moldy caulking and shower light didn't work. We all Would have appreciated a shower hose in the showers to rinse off the shower floor and walls from sand and soap. The dish washer is old, broken prongs and rusted. Still works though. The guest room attached to the bathroom had the SQUEEKIEST bed. We all could hear it. A teen slept on it and if she sneezed, it squeeked. The vents were pretty rusty which we thought was odd. Also, there were A LOT of personal belongings there...Like a legit picture of kids on the night stand by the bed which was awkward. The plantation shutters, half were broken and I couldn't open them. The carpet was pretty rough. So was the furniture. The beds were OK, and I sept OK. Nothing compares to a bed at home though. Overall, we had a good vacation, but the management company def. needs to pay attention to maintenance.

Another great trip at Litchfield

This was our 3rd time at Litchfield over the last 7 year, while staying at 3 different properties. Marsh Hawk fit our needs very well. There was 6 of us in the group. The rental was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. Good for relaxing with a 10-12 walk to the beach. Owner / management company were all very responsive whenever we had questions leading up to our stay.

Vacation with Family

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a good stay. However, the full size bed was too small for two adults; TV was not working in two bedrooms; kitchen cabinets items, classes, silverware, pots and pans need to be purged; and the windows needed cleaning from the inside out; and finally cobwebs from ceiling in bedrooms and throughout the house, especially at front door needed cleaning. The worst was one of the twin bed linen was soiled bottom and top sheets... NO laundry detergent was left to wash towels as stated; we brought detergent.

We arrived to a very clean "home" and were pleasantly surprised by how roomy and cozy it was. Our family loved how accessible it was to the beach (a short walk)The location was absolutely perfect as it was just inside the community and very quiet. Getting our keys from the vacation rental management was super easy and their staff was very helpful, answering all my questions.I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Quiet Getaway

Reviewer Comments: This was our first time at Litchfield by the Sea. The community is lovely, well-maintained and has a variety of housing options to choose from. We stayed in the Marsh Hawk area which was furthest from the beach, but extremely quiet and much less crowded than other areas. We barely saw anyone in our area while we were there, unlike areas closer to the beach which had a lot more guests. The unit was clean and provided many things you would not think to bring, but were helpful to have during our stay. Our kids were happy to have their own spaces and the screened in porch was used every day. We had a minor maintenance issue while we were there which was addressed fairly quickly. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return to this community in the future.
