We're pleased to hear that you found our holiday cottage charming and well-equipped, and that you found the spa and pools excellent. Together with the hundred of acres of countryside and lakes, the exclusive spa facilities are some of the highlights for guests staying in Lower MIll Estate houses. A very wide range of guests have enjoyed a stay at Cornerstone Cottage, families, groups of friends and inter-generational groups. Even though our holiday home is not as large as some other properties, some of our guests in groups of 8 adults have commented that they have stayed in larger Lower Mill Estate houses and prefer the charm of staying in a Cotswold stone cottage, and many of them find Cornerstone Cottage to be spacious as well. You have described exactly what we aim to be - 'home-away-from-home with enough luxury to make things special'. Each year we add a few more luxurious touches and we are grateful for the suggestions people have made. Recently we have added the Nespresso machine and air conditioning (all helped by the upgraded insulation of the cottage, new windows and doors. We're pleased to hear that you found our location charming. We are in one of the most tranquil locations away from the the coming-and-going of other parts of the estate, and yet only a short walk from all LME faciliites. Hi Catherine, So glad to hear you had such a great time. There really are so many great things to do and enjoy - it really does sound like you did a lot! And especially with friends coming from some distance within the UK and from abroad Sorry if you didn't understand that we have two bunk bed rooms. The larger Lower Mill Estate houses have 2 single beds in their 3rd and 4th bedrooms - and they generally cost considerably more to rent than our holiday home, Cornerstone Cottage. It's great to hear you like Cornerstone Cottage so much - and, yes, the sundeck is one of its best features. It's a lovely tranquil location and we enjoyed specifying the design of the decking when the house was built for us. We've chosen furniture and BBQ that makes the most of the unique location overlooking the Mill Village Water Garden. Perhaps the location of the house and the deck are the reason we keep finding online magazine luxury travel articles with pictures of Cornerstone Cottage seen over the Water Garden. We'd love to hear more about the Cotswold villages you discovered - we've explored many of them ourselves, but there are so many lovely places to discover and enjoy.
