Schöne Wohnung im Brier Island

Ihre schönen Brier Island Ferienhaus ist eine Wohnung im Erdgeschoss mit Wohn- / Essbereich, Küche, zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Es hat einen eigenen Eingang. Das Sofa kann in ein Doppelbett für zusätzliche Schlafplätze (6 Erwachsene maximum) umgewandelt werden. Wir haben jetzt einen Sat-TV mit über 120 Kanälen und sind glücklich, kostenloses WiFi für unsere Gäste bieten. Kein Geschirrspüler. Vor der Tür gibt zwei Terrassen, eine mit einem Grill und sowohl mit Blick auf das Wasser, das Grand Passage ist, gerade mal 9 Meter entfernt. Ihr Wohnzimmer-Fenster sieht auch draußen auf der "Passage" und dem Fischereihafen von Westport, mit seinen kommerziellen Fischerbooten. Wenn Sie zu Fuß aus der Tür, wenn Sie rechts abbiegen, können Sie bis zum Zentrum des Dorfes, wo gibt es eine erstaunliche General Store, ein kommerzieller Hummer und Jakobsmuscheln Pfund, ein Restaurant und die Wale beobachten Büros schlendern. Wenn Sie links abbiegen, können Sie die Straße zu einem von zwei Brier Insel Leuchttürme und der kanadischen Küstenwache Station wandern nach unten. Es gibt eine dritte Leuchtturm auf Peter Island, sichtbar von der Wohnung entfernt. Wenn Sie wandern vorbei an der Station fortfahren, werden Sie eines der Kegelrobbenkolonien, die die Küste dot entdecken. Ideal für Walbeobachtung und Vogelbeobachtung.

Great spot on brier island

Great location, clean and space for a small family. Having a kitchen is key on brier island is nice given the small number of dining options.

Delightful Westport getaway

A very nice, well maintained property with friendly hosts upstairs. The decor of the apartment was lovely and the beds comfortable. It was nice to have an outdoor patio to enjoy the view and the natural surroundings.We enjoyed our stay very much.

Need to escape? Peaceful getaway on beautiful Brier Island!!

Fabulous vacation spot which forces you to slow down and relax while taking in the beauty of a remote Nova Scotia island. Beautiful location, tastefully decorated apartment with an awesome host family. Fantastic spot for moderate hikers, whale & seal watching, sunsets, and lighthouse enthusiasts. Sandy beach also near by. Great vacation!!

True Paradise

I can't say enough about my stay. The accomodations were wonderful. Our hosts made sure of that. The apartment was lovely, calming and warm. The location was great. The Just what was needed for a relaxing vacation. I am already planning another visit.

Family get away

We so enjoyed our stay. Our three daughters, and our granddaughter were able to join us . Our youngest was able to come from Vancouver. Seen lots and toured around . Jammed pack stay, it was Great. Right on!…the Harbor!

We enjoy doing our own small meals and getting out to the wilderness! This was so well appointed, artful and charming! The touches such as heated floors were so nice to come home to after a wet whale excursion! We loved our ease of access to everything. We hiked most of the island, enjoyed the restored nature preserve bog, and captured wonderful Milky Way, meteor shower, and stunning Aurora pictures! The hosts are THE best! They really have put their hearts into their island home!

Good Apartment / Briar Island poor

The apartment was really nice and Marie was agreat host. The Briar Island has few to nothing things to do. Closest shopping is 90 minutes drive unless you want to try the local shop with minimal options and like gold prices. Everything closes 7pm.....no bank or ATM and definitely is not a place for a family with small kids.

This was the perfect homebase for our family while we explored the island. The space is comfortable, well equipped, and has flexible indoor and private outdoor spaces. The central location is right in the middle of all the Briar island sites. These were also easy to find and prioritize thanks to the kind and knowledgeable host who welcomed us after a long drive.We looked forward to returning to relax after day trips out. Enough space for cooking, family games and watching some tv or a movie. The patio is also perfect for a morning coffee.Our group had a unique mix of people with different needs. The host, Laurie, contacted us in advance to ensure sleeping arrangements were setup in a way that worked for us. The flat layout was easy for our senior and kids to navigate.Overall a great experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting the island!

Fantastic Destination for Much Needed R&R!!

Couldn’t ask for better hosts! They were welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable on what to do in the area. Apartment was perfect! Very clean with everything we needed and lovely decor. Had a fabulous time exploring this beautiful island from end to end. Whale watching tour is a must but we did see lots of marine animals from shore. Great place to beach comb. Very few tourists around which made our stay very peaceful and serene. Would definitely recommend staying at the Paradise on Brier Island. The name suits it to a tee!!

Perfect stay on Brier Island

Everything about this property was first class. The apartment was clean and well-appointed. The garden was beautiful, and the hosts friendly and attentive. Getting there is much of the fun. Two short ferry rides make this a memorable destination. They also make it not very convenient to anywhere else. It takes a while to get to Digby even. So plan to stay on Brier Island for a few days rather than make it a center for day trips. The setting on Brier Isl. is spectacular. We enjoyed hiking and whale watching. You can see the ferry coming and going from the apartment too. There are not many dining options on the island, but we cooked in the small, but efficient kitchen. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars across the board was that the vrbo online listing was inaccurate with respect to available dates. It took some back and forth with the host to straighten things out. For a few days of rest and relaxation, you can’t go wrong with this property.

Finding home away from home.

If you are looking for comfort, amenities and wonderful space, Paradise on Brier is the place to stay. It is where you can walk about on numerous trails, cycle, watch the tide roll in and out, visit Seal Cove, listen to the sound of the ferry horn blowing shuttling whale watchers in and out of this tiny island found at the tip of the western peninsula of Nova Scotia facing the Bay of Fundy. Our host and hostess were amazing, engaged and supportive providing suggestions of places to visit or explore. It is time to stop and listen to your heart, it is at Paradise on Brier Island.

Great location, with beautiful view

If you are planning to visit Brier Island for some whale watching this is a beautiful spot. Two good sized bedrooms and living area, bathroom was large and very clean. We had a patio and yard to ourselves and use of the BBQ on the owners deck. The host were very friendly and welcoming- great communication.

Great Little Getaway Place

This is a basement apartment in a house where owners live upstairs, and they'll welcome you on your arrival as if you are coming to stay with relatives. The location of the house is great, and it's right near the ferry terminal. It has a great view of the Grand Passage. Wonderful little rental place with lots of hummingbirds in the flower garden.

Amazing vacations!

Such an amazing place to stay! The apartment is very clean, cozy. Very well located. Brier Island is very quiet, beaches are amazing, even if you cannot swim. The fauna and flora are incredible. We saw a lot of birds, Seals, whales, etc. The owner is very nice, easy to communicate with and resourceful! Great spot. Would stay here again!
