It was wonderful to get your text yesterday letting me know you both got home safely and that you had a wonderful stay at Stone Cottage was so appreciated. For me, knowing that you had stayed on island in the past and were familiar with our terrain was comforting. I hardly knew you were at the cottage for your whole duration! Though you didn't mention it here, I do look forward to seeing you both again!

We were blessed once again by having wonderful guests! I enjoyed our moment when you had asked if I could sit and talk for a bit. I never want to overstay my welcome, but it was so easy to chat with you both and I could have talked forever, ha ha! I liked how you wanted to know more about the island and the locals and what life is like here. Culture is a thing and it's awesome when people are interested. I know you like to go different places each time you travel, but I do hope we get to meet again someday! Who knows, maybe that family trip in 2028 if you rent both houses. :)

Thanks for your kind and honest review, Stacey! You are very right about the pool. The concept when built, was for the pool to be a "garden" pool with foliage to the back that looks so pretty and inviting. Later, the original owner/builder had wished he had built it out to the front of the house more. The pool will definitely cool you off in the winter months, lol! I'm glad you enjoyed the hummingbird feeder! When full, it also attracts our local island Bananaquits as well. It's fun to watch them and the hummingbirds haggle over the feeder! Sugar is always kept in the cottage for guests to make more sugar water if needed and of course, for your own needs as well! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Stone Cottage!

I'm so happy that the two of you had a wonderful 25th Anniversary and you enjoyed your stay at Stone Cottage! Privacy is of utmost importance to us as well as for my guests. I do live on my own property west of the villa property which does make it nice for me to just walk over if needed. Otherwise, I am off in my own little world, ha ha! If I ever need to communicate with my guests in person, which is extremely rare, I always text or call first to make sure that it is ok with you. (that might only happen during hurricane season and if we have an impending storm as to keep you informed). I was also happy to secretly help your husband with directing him on purchasing flowers for the occasion to have there upon arrival and make a little heart of rose pedals on the bed. That's a little treat for me to be able to do! Thank you both for your kind review!

I want to start with you too! Big hugs right from the moment I met you both at the car rental agency! It is so awesome for me to be able to see my guests through the whole process from inquiry/booking to seeing you in the cottage to seeing you through your visit in any way that I am needed! Because your flight was delayed and it was dark when you got to the cottage, it certainly makes getting around that first night difficult, lol! If I had to, I would have gone looking for you, but you were close enough, I was able to talk you through it. I want your experience to be positive! You were ole pros after that, ha ha! You both were such a blessing and very helpful with the extra communication from me due to the passing of Hurricane Erin that was north of us, allowing me to secure the outdoor furniture in case we got some wind gusts. This is beautifully written, Tina. Another guest also said that they also felt like they were simply happy to hang out at the cottage just to relax and read a good book while being able to sit out in the alcove or by the pool.
