The beds are new. There are 2 52 inch smart tvs one is new and the other older with a small memory and unable to load more apps. As we discussed during your stay you need to plug in your laptop or phone and mirror on the second bedroom tv.

Hi Jeff, Glad you enjoyed your time in Whistler. I did not install a DVD with the recent renovations as it seems that it is becoming a technology of the past, and there is nowhere to rent DVDs in Whistler anymore. There is Canadian Netflix offered on the 48 inch smart TV in the lounge, and cable on both wall mounted TVs in the lounge and master bedroom. If you are travelling from the US you can use your account to access US Netflix using the wireless Hope this will provide a wide range of entertainment for everyone staying. This was a challenging guest from the start. Within 5 mins of check in the guest had removed the working gas fireplace slats, turned off the fireplace pilot light ( and fireplace). They then phoned requesting a technician be called. They could not turn the pilot light despite clear instructions over the phone. I had to call in a technician to turn on the pilot and fireplace as it was the sole source of heat in the room in minus 12 degrees. Then a phone call asking how to use the hot tub controls I then received a text saying that the hot tub was fabulous. Next morning a request for 75 percent refund as the hot tub caused chemical burns. I immediately sent around the hot tub service who said the guests had removed the chlorine puck disrupting the hot tub chemicals and hygiene. The hot tub had been serviced the day before checkin. I have photos from an hour after checkout from the cleaner with a big puddle on the step along with a wet towel left the ground. The hot tub was clearly used after the first night in a 3 night stay. The mattresses and bases are 1year old The couch is leather and 2 years old. The garbage was left in the townhome (cleaner supplied photos) I think this is really about the 75 percent refund that was not forthcoming after the first night. The townhome guide was not read which led to multiple issues. There were multiple aggressive texts and emails sent by the guest. There were 2 technician calls and multiple phone calls, texts and emails I a e night stay would have been unnecessary had the townhome guide been read. The hot tub and fireplace were misused causing costly technician calls. This was a very expensive, needy and rude guest. I would not recommend them to other owners

Hi Brent, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I was surprised that you used the pull out couch as you were only 4 people booked with a King bed and 2 twins ) beds available (no bunks). Perhaps your group was larger than you booked for. I generally only encourage children to sleep in the fold out bed, as the townhome is only suitable no more than 4 adults, due to its size. I will replace the toaster and investigate the dishwasher. If you could let me know what the problems were. Thanks Leonie
