Dieses charmante Haus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert ist ein komplettes Einzelhaus im Herzen des historischen Marigny. Wir sind nur wenige Blocks von der berühmten Französisch Quarter, Französisch Markt und Franzosen Street (berühmte Jazz Bezirk).

Das Marigny ist eine der dynamischsten und interessantesten Stadtteile in New Orleans.

Unsere Nachbarschaft hat fast alles, was man zum Leben braucht; Lebensmittelmärkte, Bäckereien, Restaurants, Geschäften, Salons, Bars, Cafés ... etc.

Jedes Zimmer ist mit einem neuen, qualitativ hochwertigen Memory-Foam-Matratze, Bettdecken und 100 Blatt% Baumwolle ausgestattet. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über eine Kommode, Nachttische, und Kabel-TV.

Wir sind nur wenige Gehminuten von French Quarter, Esplanade Ave und French Market.

2 couples had a wonderful stay at the Vivien house. Chita was very generous to show us around New Orleans so we were familiar with our location. The house was very comfortable, we would have loved to stay longer. We used Uber and walking to get around. Great experience thank you.

Amazing Marigny 2 months!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Marigny - a perfect location to live in a neighborhood close to but not in the French Quarter! We had everything we needed for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs and was a pleasure to get to know the area as a temporary local. Would highly recommend staying at the Vivien - great owners with lots of amazing local recommendations! Will be back again!

Absolutely perfect property for a vacation stay!

Perfect location for walking to Frenchman's and the Quarter. The home was wonderful in all ways. It was well-stocked, and had everything we needed for our stay. The back yard is beautiful, perfect for morning coffee, evening cocktails, and secure for our dogs to run around and be outside with us. Chita was a great host and willing to help with anything we needed. A few of us have dietary restriction and would not be able to go on vacations without the availability of homes like this to rent.

Great house!

What a wonderful historic house! The pictures on the site don’t do it any justice, the house is actually more beautiful. The living room is enclosed with a door so privacy is not an issue. Very clean and had all the amenities. A grocery store is just across the street and it’s only a few blocks from the Jazz District. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay at The Vivian House so much we stayed an extra day! Just as advertised in pics, gorgeous house & walking distance to French Qtr & surrounding areas. Everything we hoped for!

A beautiful and clean house, and it had everything we could have wanted. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the French Quarter and even less to Frenchman St. Chita was kind enough to take us on a quick tour to get us oriented when we arrived, and Erin worked with us to coordinate arrival and departure times since my friends and I were all travelling different ways. Everything went very smoothly, and we had a lovely time. Thanks so much!

Beautiful house and within walking distance to everything!

The house was absolutely beautiful! Everything was clean and tidy. The backyard was awesome and we enjoyed sitting out there in the morning. The house was within easy walking distance to Frenchman street (where all the jazz was) and to Bourbon street. Everyday we were out and about visiting the great bars and shops! Then we could stop back at the house for a quick afternoon nap before heading back out for the night. The owner was very friendly and accommodating... even let us check in a few hours early. He let us in on where to go and how to get around. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming Historic Home added to our great trip to NOLA

Fun trip to NOLA with brother and sister-in-law. We are from Hot Springs Village,AR and they are from Albany, NY. Staying in such an historic "shot gun" home added to the allure of the city. The house is very narrow and the rooms line up from the living room in the front to the kitchen in the back. Guests staying in bedroom 2 must go through bedroom 1 to go to the kitchen, however this added to the charm of the home. The house is nicely furnished with fabulous mattresses and bedding, aiding in a much needed good nights sleep after all the walking around town. We did walk to most areas of attraction as parking was available at the home and not so available elsewhere. We are all in our sixties and enjoyed the walking to and from the French Quarter. We especially enjoyed walking around Frenchman Street and our favorite dinner was at Adolfo's on Frenchman. Don't miss the WWII Museum, it is worth the visit to NOLA. Thank you Chita for allowing us to stay in your beautiful family home.

Stay in the Marigny

This was a wonderful house for our month longs stay in NOLA. From the full service market across the street, to the music and food just a few blocks away on Frenchman's Street to an easy walk to the heart of the French Quarter. The furniture and beds we're very comfortable and Phillip was available when ever we needed something. The backyard garden was a wonderful place to sit and read or have a nice drink. No question we would stay there again on a return trip to New Orleans.

Great Hosts, Fabulous Neighborhood

Beautiful historic home, so convenient to Frenchman Street and French Quarter, lovely grocery store/takeout/coffee/etc. all walkable. Was great for 2 couples + 1 Single Adult + 1 Baby. You have to accept & enjoy the historical layout of the house, but it is absolutely workable, and a great value. Yard and area to enjoy morning coffee/afternoon drinks is also a big bonus. What a wonderful house!

My girlfriends (cousins) and I stayed at the Vivien House for the 4th of July weekend. We had a wonderful time in New Orleans and a great time staying at the house. The host was so kind, accommodating and thoughtful. It was a short walk to the Quarter and my favorite restaurants in NOLA. Short Uber ride to the Convention center and Superdome. The house is so cozy and cute and was perfect for the 5 of us. I woudl definitely want to stay there again if I'm ever back in NOLA.

Clean, comfortable with the charm of New Orleans. Great location! Leave your car at the house and walk every where. Close to the Jazz District , French Quarter, Bourbon Street and Market. All the restaurants and bars you need are in walking distance. Food store right across the street. The owner met us to give us the keys and was nice enough to give us a tour of the area. He was very easy to reach if you needed anything. Enjoy!

5 Stars! Wonderful stay with Chita at the Marigny Home!

I booked this stay with Chita long in advance as it was a big weekend for my friends and I, and we were worried about an Airbnb as we had experienced cancellations in the past, and I expressed this worry to Chita when explaining my shift to VRBO. Not only was I assured they very rarely, if ever, cancel, but I was met with very warm hospitality and was met with every option to work with Chita to make sure everything worked smoothly, The house was very spacious and unique, it felt very true to New Orleans which we were very big fans of. Upon arriving, we were given a tour and provided with recommendations for everything we could have hoped. The location was good and I felt very safe with security systems and locks on all the doors. If you are trying to decide on a place to stay for a trip to New Orleans and you are considering the Marigny House, STOP Looking, because it does not get much better than this. I believe that this experience truly defines what home-staying is and what VRBO is all about. I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed everything and I hope you make the same great decision we did! Many Thanks to Chita and Family, it was a wonderful trip!

Great for Girls Weekend Close to French Quarters

This house was perfect for our 40th Birthday Girls Weekend. We loved the back yard, the room for 6 and the 2 bathrooms. The location was about 20 minutes to downtown, super close to the delicious grocery store, several restaurants and bars. Erin even took us around town before we settled in, which was very helpful. I would recommend this stay for larger groups, but that want the option to settle in at night from the day's activities.
