Hütte am Dale Hollow Lake - Wanderung zum See

ca.. 100 Meter von Wasser auf 5 Morgen am Ende einer Straße. Sehr privat. Wanderung zum See mit niemand um das erste, was am Morgen keine Menschenseele in Ort, aber nur 1. 3 Meilen bis zur Autobahn und 10 Meilen in die Stadt. 2 Meilen zum Bootsanlegeplatz, viel Land zu genießen. Trails zum See für ein ATV oder ein Pferd, wenn Sie Ihr bringen. Das neue Schwimmbad wird vor April 2015 abgeschlossen sein, es sei denn unvorhergesehene Umstände auftauchen. Eine neue Billardtisch ist verwendbar in den Keller Keller Sofas hat und Liege Fuß aus Hof zurück, zusammen mit zwei Doppelbetten in einem Zimmer und ein komplettes Badezimmer. Ich habe kürzlich eine Feuerstelle am See hinzugefügt und vier Stühle gelassen.

Geschirr, Besteck, Schüsseln, Kaffeemaschine und Tassen, Töpfe und Pfannen, Mixer, Topftopf, Gasgrill. Master-Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und Master-Bad, andere zwei Schlafzimmer im zweiten Stock sind Doppelbetten mit Bad dazwischen. Alle Betten sind neu, Gekauft 2014.02.26. Sehr sauber und frisch gestrichen. Abgeschirmten Deck auf der Rückseite des Hauses See zugewandt ist 8 'x 35'. Deck auf der Vorderseite (8 'x 35') und Seite und außerhalb der fertigen Keller (35 'x 26' Deck), der See zugewandt ist. Kleine Feuer Platz im Inneren.

Die Grafschaft erlaubt den Verkauf von Alkohol. Sunset Marina kocht ein tolles Steak und The River Grill serviert einige gute Essen und die Bobcat ist gut für das Frühstück. Es gibt andere Restaurants in Brydstown und ist eine 10 Minuten Fahrt von der Kabine. Für diejenigen, die sehr gut essen möchten, empfehle ich Craw Daddies in Cookeville und es gibt ein sehr gutes mexikanisches Restaurant in Livingston, TN, neben Food Lion.

Die Marathon-Station verfügt über alle lockt jemand wünschen könnte, wenn Sie ein paar Dinge zu fischen und müssen planen. Lebendköder können an der Kwik Stopp oder bei Sonnenuntergang Marina zu finden, wo man für Bootsrampe, 5 $ nutzen könnten. Auch der Nationalpark, neben dem Sunset Marina, eine gute Bootsrampe für $ 4, State Park (2 Meilen entfernt) hat auch einen Strand. Es gibt mehrere Marinas rund um den See und Dale Hollow beträgt ca. 61 Meilen lang mit mehreren Fingern Wasser.

Wir haben WIFI, TV im Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer verfügt über einen DVD-Player. Wir fangen gerade erst an und obwohl dieser Ort fantastisch ist, wird es nur besser, ..

Wonderful family retreat

We had a wonderful time. The house accommodated all 12 of us easily. Everything we needed was there, the house was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the pool and riding their scooters. Maria was a a great host. They treated us like family. Highly recommend.

Beautiful peaceful property

Great place to stay. Well stocked kitchen. While there is a grill, we took a grate and cooked on the firepit. The pool is beautiful. DOG FRIENDLY! Owners are even fine with letting the dogs play in the pool. If you plan to go, plan to take groceries and cook. Not much to choose from in "town". There is a grocery store for last minute things. We will definitely be back!

VACATION!

This was one of the coolest places my family and I have ever stayed. Great location, beautiful house, easy access to the lake and marina. We will definitely stay here again. The homeowner was gracious and friendly. I couldn't come up with a bad thing to say about it if I had to!

Great location

Had a great visit to DHL. Enjoyed our time on the lake. The cabin is in a great location, just a few minute drive to Sunset Marina, and sits in a peaceful, quiet spot in the woods. Had some large bugs visit us in the cabin, but I guess that goes along with the wooded setting. Otherwise a great visit.

Family Boat Trip

This was our first family boat trip to Dale Hollow and we were excited to find this great house. We traveled with five young boys and they loved the property from the second they arrived. The house was clean, nicely decorated and the perfect size for our family, it had everything we needed including extra sleeping bags, towels, gas grill, and kitchen supplies to name a few. Very close to the lake. The boys already want to stay in this house next summer but requested that we stay longer! We hope to book again next year, Thanks John!

Great for the human and even better for the dogs!

While the first couple of days got off to a rocky start with no A/C, John immediately corrected the situation by having a new unit installed. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat! The house has just about everything you need. John, Wendy, Judy and Dwain are the best and I miss them already. The only thing I would recommend is some new pots and pans and a cutting board to save your counter tops. Otherwise da bomb!

Pool was great!

We stayed for a week at the cabin in September with my family and parents. The weather was amazing so we enjoyed the pool every day. Unfortunately if it weren't for the pool, I would've given the property a two-star. The cabin was NOT clean when we arrived. The kitchen and bathroom floors had not been cleaned, there was hair in the bathtub, and most of all the toilets were not clean. Yuck! The cabin definitely needs some TLC. While the surrounding area is beautiful and the pool was a hit with my kids, the cabin needs some work. Many of the light bulbs need replacing, the box springs on a bed upstairs was broken, making the bed very uncomfortable, the bathroom sink in the downstairs bathroom was clogged, the bath towels look like rags, and the screened-in porch in the back has a huge hole in the screen. Overall, this could be an amazing property. especially with the pool, but the cabin needs some attention and a good cleaning.

The location was great. The pool was beautiful and warm. Enjoyed it a lot. However, one day when we came back from the lake and wanted to enjoy the pool, the owner was lounging there with his dogs. I thought he would leave when he saw us pull in but he did not. We were unable to use the pool that day when we wanted to. The house was not clean. We had to clean the downstairs toilet before using. The floors were dirty and there were cobwebs in the kitchen. The furniture downstairs was very, very old. The couch had a big chunk of stuffing and leather missing from the arm. Each piece of the sectional on the main level was different levels due to missing legs. I think it is probably mostly used by people was liked to party. There were probably 50 empty liquor bottles in the kitchen and living room used as decorations. If you are there to spend your all your time at the lake or want a place to party, this would probably be fine. We were there with an infant and family who wanted to spend time together at the house.

Freedom Point- the best rental on Dale Hollow!

We immediately fell in love with Freedom Point! We took our boat, jet skis, and utv. There was so much parking space for all of them and for all of our cars and trucks! There were 7 of us who stayed all week, and others who came for a couple of days at a time. There was so much sleeping space in this house, no one was without a bed and couples didn’t have to share.. lol. The openness of the inside made playing games and family time a blast! This was, by far, the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in. The previous reviews are definitely not accurate for 2023. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Maria went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and then some. Thanks for all the goodies!! The pool is A-MAZING! Our little had so much fun swimming! (No need to bring a float) We loved the back (screened in) porch area as well for having morning coffee and another place for our little to run and play safely within our sight. It is located very close to Sunset Marina (we happened to be there during the fire at Sunset, very sad) which made it easy to launch and pull out our boats each day. (Didn’t want to pay the $50/day for a slip.) I just can’t say enough good things about John and Maria… The only thing we needed was another week to stay and enjoy this awesome place!

The Perfect Escape!

This is our 4th year renting through VRBO and this cabin was my family's favorite thus far! We wanted to get away from the beaten path, hang out by a pool with family, friends, our dog, and just chillax instead of adhering to any kind of jam-packed itinerary. This rental allowed for a super-comfortable, safe, and fun week in gorgeous surroundings doing exactly that! The cabin was clean, the beds were comfy, the linens and supplies were plentiful, and while there were fire pits that we could have used, we didn't because the pool was so darned awesome! The owners were on site when we arrived and they are super-cool, animal-loving folks which we appreciated! There is a FoodLion close by so we enjoyed full meals in the well-stocked kitchen every day, cold beer, and bought more supplies for our group as needed. We had family pool tournaments downstairs and watched DVD's in the living room (BluRays aren't compatible with the current DVD player.) I really appreciated use of the washer and dryer in the cabin, the former of which is nicer than we have at home! We could see Dale Hollow Lake in the distance through the trees, which was lovely, but we weren't interested in venturing down there, again--because we were so happy to hang out by the pool and we aren't into boating. Our group consisted of 6 adults between 19-53 and everyone had a blast. I would def. recommend this cabin to others and return for another vacation here without hesitation.

Amazing!!

Our yearly family vacation brought us to this little bit of paradise on Dale Hollow Lake. It felt like we were living in the trees!! John and Maria accommodated all our needs. The pool was a great place to hang out. Kids were treated to popsicles and special gifts chosen especially for them. We also enjoyed getting to know John and Maria and are hopeful that our paths will cross again.

I work nation wide building Permanent Grandstands. I can live anywhere in the country I want and after two years of searching, I chose this spot. I live 80 yards from the rental. The rental sits on 5.5 acres and backs up to the Corp. of Engr. Property. My home sits on 11.5 acres and both homes have their own drive. I grew up In South Chicago, I love Chicago, but this place beats that!!! Everyone that has ever been here, Let's just say it is an eye opener, a paradigm shift, therapy if you will;-)!!!
