We are a Mexican–German family who has been fortunate enough to call different places in the world home. While Germany has been our home for many years, our hearts remain deeply connected to Yucatán, its people, its traditions, and the extraordinary beauty of this coastline.

Travel has taught us that the places we remember most are not necessarily the most luxurious, but those where we felt genuinely welcomed and at ease. It is this feeling that inspired us to open the doors of our home to others.

We love long walks on the beach at sunrise, sharing meals with family and friends, discovering local traditions, and finding joy in life's simple pleasures. Our apartment is our private retreat—a place to reconnect with nature, slow down, and regain energy away from the demands of everyday life.

The spectacular sunrises over the Gulf and the magical sunsets behind the mangroves remind us daily of how restorative simplicity, open spaces, and natural beauty can be.

At the same time, the area offers the perfect balance between tranquillity and convenience. Progreso, with its restaurants, cafés, and local shops, is just a short drive away. The vibrant city of Mérida, renowned for its elegant architecture, lively markets, and exceptional cuisine, can be reached in about thirty minutes. From here, guests can also explore the peninsula's remarkable Maya archaeological sites, nature reserves, and the famous cenotes of Yucatán.

To us, Chicxulub is a place to breathe deeply—a place where you walk barefoot along the beach, marvel at the star-filled sky, and reconnect with what truly matters. It is a place to slow down, recharge, and appreciate the simple pleasures of life.
