Luxury Eco Design House in Surf Resort

The spacious home in Funride Surf Resort is perfect for families or friends (sleeps 4 people) looking for a relaxed holiday on the edge of the Sao Vincente National Park.
On the ground floor you have a large living room with a fully equipped, open kitchen and a separate bedroom (2 single beds, can be put together) with a private bathroom with shower/toilet.
The second bedroom with a king size (180x200) boxspring double bed is on the mezzanine and is accessible via a staircase in the living room. In this large bedroom with stunning views over the countryside you'll also find a freestanding bath, and ensuite bathroom.
Due to the natural building materials used in building this stunning design home, you'll find that it stays cool in the hot summer months - no need for A/C! During the winter there's underfloor heating (solar powered!) throughout the house to keep you cosy.

This home was lovingly built with all natural, locally sourced materials with hints of the Algarve's Arabic history throughout - classic Portuguese kiln dried terra-cotta floor tiles, handmade kitchen tiles, environmentally friendly clay plaster and traditional Moroccan Tadelakt

The house is located in a quiet corner of Funride Surf Resort in Raposeira, so please be aware you will have neighbors who are also on holiday!
During the summer months (May - October) there is a lot going on in our surf camp, with weekly BBQs and group dinners. However, if you prefer your privacy, this home has a private entrance and terrace, so you can socialize as much or as little as you wish!

As you explore our locally owned Surf Resort on the edge of the countryside, you'll find a volleyball pitch, mini skate ramp, outdoor gym and swimming pool - all free for the use of our guests.

During the summer season (May - October) you are welcome to join (extra charge) our famous daily surf camp buffet breakfasts - the perfect way to start your day!

If you would like to try surfing; we offer daily surf lessons, or Stand Up Paddle tours to check out the local caves and coastline. If you're more of a countryside explorer - you'll find incredible hiking trails in the national park, or you can join one of our horseback rides (small groups only!). Please be aware that to avoid disappointment we recommend to book these trips at least one day in advance.

We are happy to help you to enjoy your time here as much as possible, and you'll find on-site staff available at the main surf villa (just 1 min walk) throughout the day.
