Stonecote ist ein 5 Hektar großes Anwesen aus dem Jahr 1920. Es ist komplett aktualisiert und professionell eingerichtet. Es verfügt über 7 Schlafzimmer und 16 Betten. Das Haupthaus verfügt über eine Gourmetküche mit Butler-Pantry mit 2 Kühlschränken, 2 Wandöfen, 3 Geschirrspülern, einem Viking-Gaskochfeld, einem Weinkühler und Carrera-Marmorplatten. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über mehrere komfortable Gesprächsbereiche, einen antiken Babyflügel und einen Holzkamin. Der große Speisesaal bietet Platz für Ihre gesamte Gruppe. Außerdem bietet der große Wintergarten einen zusätzlichen, weniger formellen Treffpunkt und verfügt über einen 64-Zoll-Fernseher. Das Poolhaus verfügt über eine zusätzliche voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Sitzbereich mit 64-Zoll-TV sowie ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad.

Der 50 'x 25' große, beheizte Salzwasserpool hat Springbrunnen, ist von üppigen, mehrjährigen Gärten umgeben und verfügt über ein Babybecken (das je nach Wetter saisonal von Mitte Mai bis Ende September geöffnet ist).

Der Stall verfügt über 5 Stände und einen Sattelraum. Wenn Sie mit Pferden reisen, können wir Ihnen vor Ihrer Ankunft Futter und Heu liefern. Stonecote ist von schönen, altem Baumbestand und mehrjährigen Gärten umgeben. Dennoch sind es nur 10 Minuten in die Innenstadt, die Uferpromenade, 10 Minuten nach Churchill Downs, 20 Minuten nach Walhalla und die PGA-Tour. Wir haben auch einen Hausmeister vor Ort, der in einem Wagenhaus auf dem Grundstück lebt.

This was the perfect spot for our family gathering! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The owners were great—very responsive and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. We booked this gorgeous home for a long weekend for a family of ten people. My brothers and I wanted to share time with our elderly parents, and we needed a place that was big enough for all of us and close enough to South Carolina that we could drive. This home was a perfect spot to celebrate life and time together. There was plenty of room and the kitchen is fabulous- 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, a large gas stove, coffee bar, etc. There even is an additional dishwasher in the bar area. The house is wonderfully decorated, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we did not even leave the property on Sunday. We used Instacart to get food to the house and just sat around and talked. It was great family fun!The hosts, Lisa and Keith, were there when we arrived to get us acquainted to the property. The house had everything at you could possibly need. My husband and I stayed in the pool house, which is large enough to live in permanently. Just a quick note here- the washing machine and dryer are located in the pool house. This was not a problem for us at all!!!I highly recommend staying in this property if you are visiting the Louisville area and the Bourbon Trail.

The owner met us upon our arrival to make sure we understood the workings of the home and made himself available if we needed anything. The home was a beautifully unkept historic home that allowed our family to gather for meals, movies and games. The pool and pool house were so nice to relax and enjoy our summer days. The use of their pool towels was so nice and there were tons of them. The extra refrigerator in the butlers pantry allowed us to chill all of our drinks while keeping the other refrigerator open for our food. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and very accommodating for all our needs. More than ample room for large family or friend gatherings. The setting is in a lovely neighborhood that has the local deer roaming by each night. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it. All of our adult children and their spouses kept commenting how much they enjoyed this house.

Absolutely gorgeous home that was perfect for our multigenerational family gathering. Plenty of beautifully decorated living spaces for everyone to be together. Traveled with 3 families, 2 grandparents, 4 grown adults, 10 children under 11 years. Good selections of sleeping arrangements for this configuration. Appreciated fenced in pool area that youngsters could not visit without adult. Pool house - a wonderful bonus for changing into bathing suits and having shaded area. Interior of main house lovely, historic detail, yet kid friendly (not much they could get into). One downside, near a major highway and traffic noise was a problem in some bedrooms. All in all a good time had by all.

This is a beautiful property, very comfortable for large family gatherings. We spent much of our time playing games and cooking dinners together in the well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well arranged with plenty of private space for our adult kids and their families. Dining room table easily seated 12 together, and the pool area was a great casual outside gathering space. Nearby Cherokee Park is an easy walk or bike ride.

Gorgeous Home with Great Character

The home was absolutely beautiful, the layout of the bedrooms really allowed our volleyball team families to have personal space but still be together. Great house and hosts

I hosted a group of employees in town for a large trade show and we could not have been happier with our choice to stay at Stonecote. Everyone was comfortable and had space for privacy, but it was a treat to be able to socialize at the end of every day somewhere besides a crowded restaurant or hotel lobby. Great experience for all and our hosts could not have been more gracious. We will be back next year!

My husband and I rented this house for our large family to attend our son’s wedding in Louisville. The house was perfect for our family. It was in a beautiful safe, quiet neighborhood surrounded by mansions. The gathering rooms were also large, which was great for hanging out. The house is a wonderful place to stay. It is centrally located in the city which makes it easy to get around. In addition to a really nice kitchen, there are gathering areas which accommodate a large group very well. The pool had already been closed but looks like it would be great fun in the summer. The property was beautiful, there was 13 of us staying with plenty of room. The host was available and responded immediately when I needed them.The weather was a bit chilly so we couldn't enjoy the pool. The pool house was nice and located very close to the main house. Incredible and Relaxing Stay

This is an incredible estate! The house is amazing, and the pool is perfect for lounging and playing with kids. Each morning and night we saw several deer traipsing through the yard, and the front lawn is huge, Big enough to play lots of games. You’re super close to downtown Louisville if you want to venture out, but you won’t need to, we stayed for 4 days and we never felt the need to leave.

Four generation family vacation

The home was beautiful. Indoor and outdoor flow worked well for large gatherings. The dining room was large enough for entire family to enjoy nightly dinners. The pool had a baby section that allowed smaller children to play but still be close to adults. Pool area was awesome.

Absolutely Perfect!

Our group of 6 couples enjoyed 4 fabulous nights at Stonecote. The house is beautiful, spacious, and extremely well-stocked with everything guests might need. There was ample room to gather at the dining table, in various places in the house, and on the front and back porches overlooking the lovely grounds. We had lots of fun preparing meals in the enormous kitchen and butler's pantry. We took full advantage of the 2 refrigerators, beverage refrigerator, and ice machine. The 3 dishwashers made clean up easy! The location was perfect for us! The house is a short walk to the park with lots of green space while still being only 20 minutes or less drive from everything else in and around the city. Our hosts were helpful and responsive during the reservation process and welcoming, gracious, and attentive during our stay. We felt incredibly well cared for and knew that - if we needed it - help was just a phone call away. There are many reasons why this property has so many 5-star reviews! It was truly one of the very best VRBO experiences I have ever had. Thank you, Lisa and Keith!
