Das Gerät hat zwei private Eingänge auf der Seite des Gebäudes durch Privatsphäre Tor. Innerhalb Eingang Holz Landung und Teppich Treppen. Außerhalb zurück Treppe führt hinunter zum ersten Deck Boden Besitzer für den Einsatz von Gasgrill. Liegestühle, Sonnenschirm und Kühler sind auch für Ihre Nutzung zur Verfügung.

The Loft in Lane Cove befindet sich auf der obersten Etage der einst die alte Lanes 'Engine House', im Herzen des Dorfes. Der erste Stock des Gebäudes war ein Restaurant, Antiquitätenladen und eine private Residenz. Es ist nun die privaten Büroräume des Besitzers, nur während der Woche verwendet. In der obersten Etage Einheit bleibt ruhig und privat.

Treten Sie aus der Tür in den Morgensonne und holen Sie eine Tasse Kaffee, Gebäck (oder Mittagessen) und Zeitung im Cove Cafe drei Türen nach unten. Die Post, Prana Salon und der Lanesville Package Store, der eine große Auswahl an Weinen bietet,
Bier und andere Speisen, wie z. B. marinierte Steaks, runden den Rest der Washington Street ab.

Ausreichend Parkplätze, in der Regel direkt vor der Tür macht den Zugang zum Gerät einfach. Der CATA-Bus hält direkt vor der Post das Reisen rund um Cape Ann einfach und mühelos.

The Loft was a delightful place to stay. The locations was fantastic. The only reason we didn't give it a 5 star is because of the basement. We both have mildew allergies so we couldn't use the laundry(washer & dryer) or beach chairs that were down there. Diane was super understanding and brought us some of her beach chairs to use.

Beautiful Lanesville Home

We enjoyed this property during a July visit. Listing is accurate. The back deck was my favorite feature and I loved having my coffee outside each morning. The location in the heart of Lanesville makes it feel like a resort where you can easily walk to the ocean and play on the stone pier at Lanes Cove. The nearby Cove Cafe serves good coffee and lunch and we became regulars during our trip. We will return!

Calming coastal retreat

We immediately felt at home as we walked in to this peaceful, calming, very clean home. We didn’t want to leave. Diane was a fantastic host and communication was great. She provided a lot of nice little touches such as a first aid kit, a night light, paper and pens along with a nicely detailed information guide with helpful recommendations. The location had a small village feel with a cafe a couple of doors down and we enjoyed short walks to both Lanes Cove and Plum Cove. Hope to make it back! Diane, thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

Comfortable, convenient and everything we needed

Diane anticipated everything - from beach chairs, umbrella and towels, to fresh ice in the freezer. The Loft was clean and comfortable. The decor was charming. This is a gem and a great value. We had a great time during our one-week stay in Lanesville.

Cute…Clean….Cozy

Love this little gem! Clean, cozy, and quiet location. The bed was so comfy too! Glouster has many wonderful restaurants as mentioned in the binder in the loft. We took the recommendations and visited many. They all were very good! Everyone is so friendly in this town. We will be back!

Our stay at The Loft

We just spent three weeks in Gloucester, staying at the Loft. The apartment was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. Diane was very accommodating and accessible. We were a little disappointed that the Loft was located so far from the Harbor area but the description was not misleading. We enjoyed walking to Plum Cove Beach with our family.

Great area to vacation! Drawback was spotty cell reception. Also, not a safe area to bike.

Diane was very responsive to issue that came up. Everything needed was provided for in the unit. Easy arrival and departure.

A beautiful place to be

We spent a week at the 'Loft at Lane's Cove' in May during our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay. The loft is lovely, very well furnished and the kitchen is equipped with all you could possibly need. The view of the quaint little cove from the balcony of the loft, as well as the proximity to Plum Cove Beach, where amazing sunsets can be watched (just one of the many great places to explore in the area) made our stay even more worthwhile and relaxing. We hope to be able to visit again soon! Furthermore Diane is a very nice and helpful person and we absolutely recommend to stay at her beautiful loft.

Exactly what we were hoping for on a one week vacation escape.

We wish to thank Diane for providing my wife and I with the lovely, quaint accommodations for one week. It was exactly what we were hoping to find when we arrived in mid Jun 2016. The one bedroom unit was very clean and included every feature you could wish for in a rental unit. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedroom very comfortable and the view from the second floor deck was perfect when my wife and I shared morning coffee. We just hope it's available on a future visit.

Perfect couple retreat

I grew up in central Ma and live in RI now. I have been all over MA for weekend stays but never made it to the North Shore. This was my favorite vacation by far. The loft was in a great location - a five minute walk to a lovely resident only beach where we spent an afternoon and then stopped again at sunset to see the most beautiful sunset I have seen in ages. The actual accommodations were wonderful. Clean, comfortable and in a very safe area. Dianne the host was great and offered a suggestion for dinner at Tonno which was some of the best seafood we have ever had. We loved the loft and we will definitely be back to visit!!

Spotless, spacious and bright,

The loft is ideal for a couple looking for a comfy, private seaside get away in a most convenient location with every need looked after. It is ideally situated between an enchanting swimming cove and a great seaside restaurant, a short drive from popular beaches such as Crane or Singer, a stone's throw from a nature reserve. Dianne is personable and helpful. The linens are elegant, the light is perfect, the balcony has its own charm. Highly recommended.

A wonderful stay

We have been the first visitors for this season and maybe the first short time visitors at all. It was wonderful. Diane is a warm and wonderful person who did everything to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. She even organized a pack&play for our baby. The house is a good place to stay, somewhere in the middle of Gloucester and Rockport. It is calm and friendly. Everything is arranged with very good care and perfectly equipped. We can recommend to stay there if you want to spend some wonderful days.

Short Gloucester Stay

Beautiful place, Excellent for two people. Far enough from Gloucester center to be away from the hubbub. Is on a bus line, and taxi service is available, so that you may enjoy Gloucester without having to worry about parking. There is a small cafe that makes incredible sandwiches, pastry, coffee and breakfasts which is a local favorite. A liquor store is also within a minute walk away. There is a local beach that is within a five-minute walk, and as a bonus there are beautiful sunsets to be seen at the beach. The Vrbo has air conditioning but may not be necessary as a nice breeze can be felt if the screened door on the balcony is left open. We loved this place and will return.

Love the Loft

The Loft Apartment in Lanesville is a perfect location if you're spending time on Cape Ann. The apartment itself is very clean and in a great location. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is newly remodeled. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails on the balcony. It is very convenient to have the Cove Café (breakfast and lunch), the Post Office, and the Lanesville Package store (incidentals, ready made food, basic groceries, and of course beer/wine/liquor) just a few steps away. Diane was a breeze to communicate with from initial inquiry to checkout. Helpful detailed information about the property and the surrounding area is provided in a notebook. Don't miss a walk down to Lanes Cove (right around the corner) and you can take the Harvey Reservation trail back through the historic Lanesville Cemetery to Washington St. Plum Cove beach is a short walk down Washington St and Diane generously provides beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella for an enjoyable beach visit. We had a great experience at the Loft apartment and can only highly recommend it for a Cape Ann getaway.

Very nice loft and location. Quiet and a perfect place to watch the sunset. Very clean and nicely decorated. Loved being able to take the train into Salem. We were disappointed that there wasn't a grill. The owner thought it had been removed from the listing. Other then that, it was great!

The Loft is a very comfortable apartment-perfect for a couple, spotlessly clean and ideally situated to explore this beautiful area. We always found parking outside the door. We liked sitting on the balcony which is private and quiet, although the neighbouring tree has grown and obscured the view of the cove, but a 5-min walk and you’re there.

My brother Robbie and I (Diane) purchased 1072 Washington Street in May 2013, because we wanted to own a piece of beautiful Lanesville. I moved here not too long before from Sudbury, MA and knew that my brother would love this area too. I was really trying to get him to move up here from Long Island, and when that didn't work, I suggested we buy a piece of property together (just to give him yet another reason to come visit me). I live up the street in Lanesville with my husband, Paul, and my two girls. Paul and I take care of the property and make sure that our guests are well taken care of.

We can't say enough about Lanesville. We love it here and even though it seems like we are at the end of the world, there is no place we would rather be…especially in the summer.

There is so much to do around here that we are never bored, and neither are the kids - and that says a lot! The best thing about Lanesville is that you can spend the whole day within walking distance of your home and at the end of the day, feel like you were on an amazing adventure.

We especially love enjoying a bottle of wine while watching the sun set at Plum Cove Beach. Many nights we will walk down to the cove too, along with many of our neighbors, just to sit on the rocks, watch the waves and boats pass by and reflect on the awesomeness of the area. We feel so lucky to be a part of this town.

Buying this property was really just a whim of mine, but once I saw the inside and the views from both floors, I knew it would be an amazing property to own.

I called my brother right after the showing and told him I wanted to make an offer, like right now. He said ok. Mind you, he is my older brother, I'm just the little sister that always followed him around, but some reason he had faith in me and trusted my judgement.

There was already another offer on the table, but I wrote a little personal story along with the offer and that sealed the deal. We were proud owners of the little red fire house. I now had a place for my office in the back of the first floor and my dream of owning a rental property had come true. I have a future dream of opening up a small retail store in the front, but first things first.

Come stay with us every year and be a part of the dream.
