Unser 7 Hektar großer Weinberg befindet sich auf der ruhigen, sonnigen Seite des Okanagan-Sees im Herzen der Weinregion. Wir sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von fünf Weingütern entfernt. Der Kettle Valley Trail liegt buchstäblich vor Ihrer Haustür und Sie können eine kurze Radtour zu mehreren weiteren Weingütern sowie in die Stadt Penticton unternehmen. Wir sind eine 5-minütige Fahrt zum Strand an der 3 Meile Straße, die ein schöner Badestrand ist. Ob Sie uns für die Frühlingsblüten, die warmen Sommertage, das Pfirsichfest, das Weinfest oder die Herbsternte besuchen, Sie werden sich in unsere magische kleine Ecke der Welt verlieben! This is a wonderful place to stay. The suite is clean, lacks for nothing and has the most beautiful patio, shaded, private with a view of the vineyard. The owners have thought of everything. It is conveniently located between Naramata and Penticton and right next to the KVR trail. It's definitely top of our list for the Okanagan.

Totally lovely setting with view of vineyard and on to mountains and Okanagon Lake. One bedroom apartment well-appointed and supplied for cooking. On extensive bike trail system; near many excellent wineries. John and Gjoa are truly wonderful hosts. Highly recommended stay!

A little oasis! Loved the garden and pergola where you can spend an evening with a glass of wine or coffee, just magical to walk amongst the vines and watch the sun set. It was so great to be right beside the KVR trail. We sauntered along the path in the evening and even walked to the Hillside winery to have a lovely dinner, with some wine from the Gjoa vineyard. We took the provided bikes up the KVR trail, super fun. We cooked most of our meals in the well-appointed kitchen, and Gjoa and John even shared some of their garden tomatoes with us for our salad. Thx! It was a truly lovely holiday!

Beautifully sited outside of Penticton just off the Naramata road and right on the KVR. Its views over the vineyards and the gardens and bird bath are great evening wine viewing. 3 mile beach is close and Hillside winery very close and good food. The suite is fitted out to a very high degree of comfort and John and Gjoa excellent hosts. We used the bikes most days and it’s a very bike friendly area. Naramata was a nice outing for lunch and Poplar Grove winery outstanding food. We were very comfortable and staying outside of Penticton is recommended.

Loved it Here and Highly Recommend

The property is even better than pictured. And, it included things often not found at other properties including cooking knives that are actually sharp and two closets in the bedroom with a place to put your luggage. The view is gorgeous and the vibe is relaxed. Basically on the KVR trail and close to many restaurants/wineries. Highly recommend!

A weekend at Gjoa's

I can't begin to say how great a stay our weekend at Gjoa's was. The suite was huge, comfortable, quiet, close to a number of vineyards to start our tour and most of all the amazing back deck. The property is located perfectly between Naramata and Penticton so you never feel far from either. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to stay when you are in the area.

Gjoa's Vineyard

Loved this place - it was tranquil, well-appointed, and in a perfect location for touring up and down the Naramata Bench. The patio overlooking the garden and vineyard will spoil you for anywhere else, especially when the short-eared owl comes to visit. John and Gjoa were gracious hosts, friendly and helpful but otherwise we felt we were alone in a little corner of paradise. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful scenery, exceptional suite

We have stayed several times at John and Gjoa's simply because it is the best rental we have found, by far, in the Okanagan. Always clean, well equipped, and just a beautiful place for some down time. John and Gjoa couldn't be better hosts. We look forward to our next stay - and introducing our son and daughter-in-law to the best place in the Okanagan. We've talked about it and shown them pictures for years and now they get to experience it with us. Can't wait!

Great Spot!

John and Gjoa have created a nice sanctuary to come home to after an exhausting day of wine tasting and leisurely strolls by the lake :). The unit is specious and well appointed for everything you will need for a trip to the Bench. The outdoor patio space is large and private and the adjacent garden area is a zen like paradise for birds and bee's. It was great for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine and a good book in the evening. BTW they also happen to be really nice people and hosts.

Wonderful place for downtime

My husband and I have been staying here for a week in the summer for a number of years now. It is like coming home. The space is wonderful, inviting, and oh so relaxing. Gjoa and John have done an outstanding job in making this a first class vacation rental home. You have a wonderful view of the vineyards and lake. Quails and hummingbirds are abundant and fun to watch. And, best of all, you're within walking distance of some of the best wineries in the Okanagan. Can't wait to go back.

Perfect Vacation

We never got the chance to meet Gjoa, but John was very friendly and accommodating. The suite is amazing and the view is fantastic. It was everything we thought it might be and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the suite. We didn't need anything during our stay that wasn't already in the suite. All the wines made from Gjoa's grapes tasted amazing...the Reserve Vigonier was our favorite. All of the people in the area are very friendly and always recommending places to visit. We will definitely be staying here again.

The owners have everything cared for. You simply show up, follow directions, experience the recommendations that are given and enjoy the beauty. John will check in at the start and at the end so as to help in any way and say thanks. We would return tomorrow, if we could. The location and views can't be beat! KVR trail is right there for walking, jogging, biking down into Penticton or up in the hills with gorgeous views the whole way.

Beautiful vineyard stay

The pictures don't due the property justice. The patio walkout was directly into the vineyard and was so beautiful and peaceful. We loved sitting on the patio with a glass a wine in the evening, they even provided blankets for the patio for those cooler evenings. I would highly recommend walking over to Hillside winery and buying a bottle of the Gjoa merlot. How often can you buy a bottle of wine made with the grapes from the vineyard you stayed at? Super fun. The property was very clean and well maintained and perfectly suited for my friend and I. Also loved using the bikes to ride up the KVR. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return if in the area again.

Gjoa’s Vineyard: Wonderful Inside and Out

We couldn’t have asked for more. A spacious, comfortable home away from home with stunning views on a working vineyard. We had to talk ourselves into moving from the deck. Gjoa and John are gracious and helpful. A very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, double walk inn closets, a TV that we could actually catch a Blue Jays game on... We didn't use the bikes provided or the fireplace but it is great knowing that they are there for the next time! The location is very close to both Penticton and Naramata. The local wineries are outstanding. The description and pictures are accurate but can't possibly capture all that this property is. We have had many great stays on the Naramata Bench and area but this is our absolute favorite!

Great place to stay!

The views of the vineyard from the deck are beautiful! It was lovely having coffee in the morning and wine at night out on the deck enjoying the view. The suite had a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture to lounge on in the living room and a very comfy bed! Lots of storage and closet space so we could put our stuff away and feel like we were at home. Gjoa and John were wonderful hosts, we arrived later in the evening the day of check in and were greeted with corn on the cob and a bottle of wine! The KVR trail is basically right out the front door, we took advantage of walking along the trail most days. Walking distance to some wineries and a brewery was a bonus for sure! Hit the brewery for lunch a couple of times, delicious pizza. Gjoa and John, we truly enjoyed our visits with both of you, it was nice to get to know you. We will definitely be back! Barry & Donna

Loved this Property!

My wife and I spent 7 days relaxing and enjoying all the local attractions in Naramata, Penticton and the south Okanagan. We have stayed at VRBO’s and Airbnb’s all over the world and this ranks right up there with the best, can’t say enough good things about this property. We stayed in the main rental and it is very clean and well kept. The bed is very comfortable, shower has excellent water pressure and temperature control. The owners have taken great care and thought for the most perfect stay. The decorations and small touches are warm and comfortable which makes you immediately feel right at home. There are many wineries to visit, and the KVR trail is excellent for leisurely walks or biking, and has some of the best views in the Okanagan. We have been to Tuscany and this location makes you feel like you are in the heart of Tuscany, only better. We are currently building a place in the Okanagan but would highly recommend John and Gjoa’s place for any one that is looking for a retreat on the Naramata Bench.

A Quiet Property Nestled Amongst the Vines

This was the perfect place to stay, just outside of town and nestled amongst the vines! My husband and I were in Penticton for the Challenge Triathlon and the location was perfect for pre-race and race day activities - close to town, but out of the fray of the masses. We enjoyed spending every evening on the back patio soaking up the views of the grape vines and stunning sunsets. With access to the Kettle Valley Rail Trail literally one minute from the front door, we had access to trails for running and biking before the race and for walking to numerous wineries post-race. The location honestly could not have been any better. The accommodations themselves were also quite nice - the kitchen was well appointed, and the living space and bedroom were very comfortable. We slept like babies listening to the coyotes in the distance. We highly recommend this property and can't wait for our next visit! Thank you, Gjoa and John, for such a wonderful stay!!

Home is where the vineyard is!

This was our 2nd stay at Gjoa's vineyard and it was even better than the first... because we were here for longer :) My husband and I stayed from September 2-9, planned around our anniversary, and it was so perfect (minus the hit and miss weather during the week). If you want a place where you can truly call home during your time away from home, this is it. Gjoa and John have thought of all the little things that just make things easier while on vacation. The kitchen is stocked with all you could need, the living room,/dining area is most comfortable for relaxing and or enjoying a meal, and you have the best view from the patio - right onto the vineyard. As the nights were cool, we much enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and blankets to curl up with while enjoying a glass of wine. We also enjoyed a few games of Yahtzee that was provided. John called the first morning of our stay to make sure we had all that we needed and all was going well so far, which is appreciated in case we did have questions. Amenities in the area are plentiful and easily accessible. KVR trail access is steps from the front door making for lovely runs/walks. Wineries are all around offering plenty of opportunity for tastings, Penticton offers some lovely tennis courts which we took full advantage of when the weather permitted. The Bench market on your way into town is our favorite breakfast spot - the Bench Burrito is a must try... be sure to try it at least once with churizo. We made a couple day trips down to Osoyoos and Oliver for some more wine tastings and dinner. - staying at Gjoa's was the perfect hub. If I could give more than 5 stars in this review I would - it's everything you could want in a get away - beautiful views, amenities, comfort and wine! Thanks again John and Gjoa - look forward to a future stay.

Great place, great area

John opened the place up for us and left behind a bottle of wine from their grapes. A bowl of organic honey crisps arrived the next day. Lovely 1 bedroom place right on a vineyard. Great views of the fields and the lake. Well appointed and very well supplied kitchen. Toured wineries up the Naramata Bench. Is a great location to tour the entire south Okanagan Wine Country .

Great stay

My husband and I spent a few days exploring the Penticton area wineries and sights and John and Gjoya’s place was the perfect spot for us to use as a base camp. It is spacious, comfortable, very, very well equipped and quiet. The location is just a few minutes outside of town with easy access by bike or on foot via the KVR which we used a lot. We really appreciated the use of bicycles and beach chairs and towels - a hot ride followed by a swim in the lake was a perfect day. John and Gjoya are gracious and accommodating hosts and communication was excellent. Highly recommend Elma’s as a place to eat in town and the Naramata Inn for a finer dining experience, the cheeserie down the road and Pentage and Laughing Stock wineries were two of our favorites but there are many to explore. I would come back to this spot and recommend it to others.

Gorgeous Vineyard Stay

Gjoa and John's location is amazing for both views and places to visit. The kitchen is well stocked, everything was comfortable and the one issue we had, broken microwave, was taken care of promptly during the visit! We used most of the homes amenities as we found ourselves struggling to go out and visit places in the Okanagan or stay in and enjoy the beautiful property.
