This property was spacious and comfortable. All appliances worked well, and the kitchen was well stocked. The shower was extremely hot. We were able to walk to the beach15 minutes, farmer's market 15-20 minutes, and the old town 20-30 minutes. We could have walked to the Pingo Doce Grocery store, but we had a car and went the easy route. There was secure underground parking in the garage as well as street parking choices. The home was quiet, and the facility had visible security officers, though none were needed. The balcony view overlooks the pool and you can see the ocean too. The hosts were delightful, organized, and helpful. We would GLADLY stay again.

A perfect stay

This apartment was lovely.. great location, spacious, clean and quiet. Responses from the owners was quick. Lots of little things teas made our stay pleasant, condiments/ spices/ cleaning supplies. A bottle of wine and a welcome note greeted us upon arrival.

Me and my partner had a lovely time at Maria’s apartment. The view from the balcony and the pool makes it really special. Very close to everything but at the same time in a quiet neighbourhood which was perfect! So close to the beach too! Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable apartment. The owners had catered to our every need, including a welcome bottle of wine, which was much appreciated .The whole site was wellmaintained with a lovely pool area. Great Stay in Lagos

My wife and I had a great stay in Maria and Ricks apartment in Lagos. The apartment is really spacious, clean and has everything you need for your stay. The location is quiet and not too far from Meia Praia or the centre of Lagos. There is a large shared pool which can be used by guests. Plenty of sun beds were available during our stay. The apartment is very close to the marina and also the train and bus stations. I would definitely stay here again.

Well Situated Lagos Apartment

Very clean apartment with great sea views (sunrises and sunsets!). Exactly as the pictures here show! Very convenient to beach, food shopping, marina (bars and restaurants) and downtown area. Complex has great pool area and it's own restaurant. Indoor parking was great! Quiet area and very secure! Rick and Maria were very responsive to our questions. Only negative is the toilet seat needs repair!

We really enjoyed our stay in Lagos. For us, the location was great. Easy walking access to beach and Old Town. Grocery store .4 mile away (easily walkable). Locals so friendly. Check-in/security office quite helpful. Loved the views from our 4th floor balcony! Appreciated amenities: clothes washer and drying rack, beach umbrellas and chairs, grocery cart, large balcony with chairs & table, and a place to grill. Would stay there again. Thanks!

Excellent First VRBO experience

We were very pleased with Rick & Maria’s condo. The check in process was very easy and it was nice to know that someone was always around to ask for help. The condo area is secured, although we felt safe at all times in Lagos. The condo complex was very well maintained and clean. The location is great - just a short walk to the beach, marina and old town. The apartment itself was very well-appointed, including chairs & umbrellas to take to the beach. We borrowed the cooler and ice packs for a picnic one day too. It really felt like home and we would love to come back someday.

The Perfect Getaway

Rick and Maria's place is the best ever! Everything was as exactly as they described in their post. They gave us perfect directions to get to their place. There were no issues checking in or out. We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony every morning when we had our coffee and breakfast, and in the evening when having our glass of wine. The action at the harbor where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, was walking distance as well as offices to make arrangements for boat rides to explore the caves. The bridge to walk across to explore the old Moorish town, cafes, restaurants and stores was also walking distance. We highly recommend this place! You will not regret it one bit!

Spacious and well-positioned Apartment

Having not travelled for two years because of the pandemic, we were a little apprehensive about staying away from home. However, we need not have worried! The apartment was like home from home and it was spotlessly clean. The owners had left us a bottle of wine, a welcome pack and had even provided hand gel in the hallway! The apartment overlooks the swimming pool in a lovely complex that has mature gardens, a children’s play area and miniature golf. There is secure underground parking and the 24/7 reception/security makes it extra safe. The apartment has sea views from the balcony and is in a great location, close to the marina, 5 minutes from Meia Praia beach and about 10 minutes from Lagos town with its many restaurants. The owners, Maria and Rick, answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We will be back, hopefully next year!

Preis/ Leistung ist super!!

Apartment: The size for two people is quite sufficient. On the pictures the apartment seems a bit smaller. The furnishings are cozy. We felt very comfortable. In March it is just a bit colder and the fleece blankets and an extra blanket did us a lot of good ;-) The coffee table already has some signs of use, which was no problem for us. In the kitchen everything is available what you need. A little more cutlery would be great if you do not want to wash dishes yourself and would rather use the dishwasher. But it was also possible. Location: The apartment is super located. You can walk to the harbor (about 7 min) and Lagos (10-15 min). You have a beautiful view of Lagos and the harbor in the evening and you can see the Atlantic Ocean / beach from the balcony. (The balcony is accessible from the living room and the bedroom). This was important to us, for example. To have a nice view when you sit outside in the morning while having breakfast or just having a glass of wine there in the evening. Hosts: Maria & Rick are super hosts. Super quick answers to questions or small problems. We felt super comfortable and were super supported. We will definitely come again! Thank you so much! Wunderbare Tage im Herbst in Lagos

Wir haben Ende September nochmal wunderschöne Tage in Lagos verbracht. Das Appartement von Maria und Rick ist perfekt, es liegt hinter dem Marina, recht nah zur Altstadt und nur wenige Minuten vom Strand Meia Praia entfernt. Die Wohnung verfügt über alles, was man braucht, sie ist nett eingerichtet, der Balkon ist mit Blick zum Meer. Alles war sehr sauber. Die gesamte Anlage, mit Pool usw. ist sehr schön, sehr ordentlich, das Personal ist sehr um Sauberkeit, Ordnung und Sicherheit bemüht. Die Kommunikation war prompt und zuverlässig, der Check-In/Out unkompliziert. Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt es unweit im größeren Supermarkt Pingo Doce. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und möchten uns hiermit nochmal bedanken.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in toller Lage!

Eine kleine süße und gemütliche ferienwohnung! Es ist alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Der Pool-Bereich ist sehr schön, der wunderbare Sandstrand nicht weit entfernt und das Sicherheitspersonal wirklich sehr hilfbereit! Wir verbrachten dort eine tolle Woche. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch Restaurant und Partymöglichkeiten fußläufig gut zu erreichen aber auch weit genug entfernt dass man zu hause seine Ruhe hat.

I really enjoyed this apartment! The location was within walking distance to several restaurants and a grocery store. It's about a 20-minute walk to the old town, but the neighborhood felt very safe to walk around even in the evening. The view is lovely! The apartment was clean, and the host even left a handwritten note with a bottle of wine. It felt very comfortable and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Precioso apartamento en un lugar tranquilo y bien comunicado, lo mejor las vistas desde su maravillosa terraza.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay, and agree that one of the best things about our apartment are the views from the terrace. We love to have coffee there in the mornings and a sunset drink in the evenings before heading out to one of the many great restaurants in the area.
