We absolutely loved our stay. From the moment we walked in, we could feel how much intention, artistry, and love went into creating this space. The whole cabin has a warm early Arts & Crafts feel. Stickley furniture, a classic Morris chair, rich woodwork, and soft incandescent lighting that makes the entire home glow. Everything feels curated, not decorated. The whole cabin feels like one big reading nook. There are cozy spots to curl up, and even a functioning record player with records from the 1920s. There is a small TV, but we never used it, this is the kind of place that makes you want to disconnect. I took my book everywhere. The balcony seating, the side-porch picnic table, by the fireplace, on the sofa, the sun room. Itâs truly a book loverâs dream. The heater worked perfectly and the old-style fireplace added the perfect mountain touch. The bedroom had a firm bed which I personally love. We brought our own pillows and blankets, but the cabin provides them as well. The bathroom was surprisingly large and had gorgeous skylights that let in the morning light. The cabin is in a cute, quiet neighborhood, tucked away enough to feel secluded but still only five minutes from town and five minutes from hiking trails. Ed was incredibly kind and responsive, and you can truly feel the care they put into this home. If youâre looking for a peaceful, artful, cozy place to unwind, read, play board games, reconnect with yourself, or simply escape the noise, this bungalow is perfect.
