The space
SADE House is a designer bungalow on a secure, gated Glassell Park compound, designed for stays of 30 nights or longer. Fast Wi-Fi, a desk in the living room, a fold-down desk in the main bedroom, in-unit laundry, central air and heat, a full kitchen, a private backyard and two assigned parking spaces make it easy to settle in. Atwater Village, Silver Lake, Glendale, Dodger Stadium and Downtown LA are a short drive away.

Sade House is ideal for singles, couples and young families for midterm housing, as well as guests on work assignments or extended holidays in LA.

Enjoy the best of both worlds: a quiet, relaxing place to call home with easy access to everything LA has to offer. The house is tucked inside a gated compound at the end of a peaceful residential street, where birdsong adds to the calm atmosphere. Directly across the street, you will find a newly refurbished family park.

When you are ready to explore, major freeways and some of LA’s most exciting neighborhoods are just minutes away, along with an excellent mix of restaurants, bars, cafés, cinemas, theaters, and laptop-friendly workspaces. Silver Lake Reservoir, Griffith Park, and the LA River are also nearby, making it easy to enjoy a morning walk, scenic hike, or afternoon bike ride.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, a built-in wardrobe with cube storage, a fold-down wall desk and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and built-in wardrobe with cube storage. The second full bathroom, with a bathtub, is next to Bedroom 2. The living room includes a separate work desk, and the Wi-Fi with 109 Mbps speed.

The full kitchen includes a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, rice cooker, toaster, Ninja blender, electric kettle and drip coffee maker. There is also a storage and coat cupboard, wooden hangers, extra linens and bright bathroom lighting.

Other things to note
ARRIVAL

Self check-in is available after 4:00 p.m and early check in may also be available upon request. We send general arrival information within 24 hours of check-in and the gate and door access details a few hours before arrival. After booking, we will ask for the license plate number of each vehicle using the gated parking.

CLEANING
For stays of 30 nights or longer, we recommend a professional clean every few weeks. You may use your own cleaner or ask us to arrange ours. We will agree on the timing and any cost in advance, and any host-arranged payment will be handled through Airbnb.

GARDEN AND MAINTENANCE

Outdoor maintenance may take place during the day when needed. We will let you know in advance. The team works outside only and does not enter the home. If the proposed timing is inconvenient, please message us.

QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. No parties or events.

TRASH
Guests are responsible for putting the bins out on Monday evening for early Tuesday collection and returning them on Tuesday.

PETS
Generally only one small dog may be accepted on a case-by-case basis with prior approval. Exceptions are possible, please ask.

Please add the dog/s to the reservation so VRBO can include the $300/1/stay pet fee or $500/2/stay.

UTILITIES
Water, gas, electricity, Wi-Fi and trash service are included. We ask guests to use utilities responsibly.

EXTENDING YOUR STAY
If you would like to extend, please message us before the final weeks of your stay. We will confirm availability and price before sending any reservation change.

Glassell Park is a residential neighborhood in Northeast Los Angeles near Atwater Village, Elysian Valley, Mount Washington, Eagle Rock and Glendale. A public park is across from the compound, while Sade's private backyard sits behind the home.

• Universal Studios and Warner Bros, about 20 minutes

Nearby grocery options include Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Super King, Ralphs, Target, CVS, Vons and Smart & Final. Super King is about 4 minutes away, and Target and CVS are about 5 minutes away in off-peak traffic.

Getting Around
The home includes two assigned off-street parking spaces behind the gate, next to or in front of the house. Additional free street parking is available outside the compound, subject to posted signs and availability. A bus stop is a couple of blocks away, Metro Micro serves the area, and Glendale Metrolink station is about a five-minute drive. The 2, 5 and 134 freeways are nearby. Travel times vary with traffic.
