We’re Will and Angela, the owners of Return To Roots Resort. We created the resort because we love getting outdoors, slowing down and spending time together—but we also appreciate a comfortable bed, a hot shower and a few luxuries. Our goal was to create a place where guests can unplug, reconnect and enjoy the outdoors without giving up the comforts of a great getaway.

We fell in love with the peaceful Missouri countryside and the chance to create something completely different here. Return To Roots sits on 30 private acres near Butler, surrounded by open space and nature, yet it’s still an easy drive from Kansas City. It gives our guests room to slow down, enjoy a quiet evening by the fire and escape the noise for a while.

5 O’Clock Somewhere brings a little island attitude to the Missouri countryside. This tiki-inspired luxury geodesic dome was designed to make it feel like vacation starts the moment you arrive. Enjoy your private hot tub, smokeless fire pit, covered patio and gas grill outside, then head inside to a king bed, full bathroom with rainfall shower, kitchenette and Wi-Fi. It’s a playful, one-of-a-kind glamping escape where it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere.
