Fabulous Retreat with an Indoor Pool and Sauna for a Luxury Getaway in Champaign, Illinois

This luxury getaway is located on nearly 20 acres of lush prairie and serene woodlands in Champaign, Illinois. This modern and stylish retreat is about 10 minutes away from Urbana, and two hours away from Chicago. It can accommodate up to nine guests, perfect for families and group retreats. The unique rental and the incredible surrounding gardens are also an excellent location for special events like weddings or corporate meetings.



This spacious property consists of two parts, the main building, and the coach house. In the main area, couples can sleep on a plush king-size bed in the first two master bedrooms, or a queen-size bed in the third bedroom. Children or additional guests can sleep on a twin bed in the fourth bedroom, or full-size sofa beds in the fifth and sixth bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms includes a closet and a dresser for extra storage space. The two master bedrooms each come with a full ensuite bathroom, containing a toilet, a double-mirrored vanity, a glass-enclosed shower, and a separate bathtub. The queen bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, a double vanity, and a shower. The last three elegantly designed bedrooms share access to two full bathrooms, each with a toilet, a sink, and a shower. High-quality linens, towels, and toiletries are provided. Hairdryers are included in the master bathrooms.



One of the many unique features is that there are no windows but instead 94 glass doors offering spectacular views of the ponds, gardens, and woodlands. These doors can be opened in the summer so guests can enjoy the breeze as they lounge on the nice furniture or watch DVDs on the flat-screen TV in the living room. In the winters, they can curl up in front of the wood-burning fireplace, swim in the pristine heated indoor pool, or relax in the private sauna.



The main area features a spacious, gourmet, and fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a fridge with a freezer, a stove and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a coffeemaker, and a tea kettle. Dishes and cooking utensils are provided. There is also a kitchenette with a wet bar and a mini-fridge. The table in the formal dining room can seat up to 10 guests. Additionally, there is a private home office space with a desk and a fast internet connection, for guests who need to catch up on work emails during their stay.



If guests want a cozier space, they can stay in the coach house. Each of the three bedrooms includes a full-size bed with a closet and a dresser. The three bedrooms provide easy access to two full private bathrooms, both with a toilet, a double vanity, and a shower and bathtub combination. Linens, towels, and toiletries are also provided. Downstairs, guests can curl up on the comfortable sofa and watch a movie on the TV, or prepare a delicious meal in the second fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen contains a fridge with a freezer, a stove and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a coffeemaker. Other amenities include heating and air conditioning, cable and satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and an iron and ironing board.



Outside, guests will have access to a meditation hut, which has won several awards for its modernist architecture. There is also a lovely pond with a pier and a pedal boat, and a private furnished patio surrounded by landscaped garden and ancient oak trees.
