Beautiful and architecturally interesting home and guest home. Wonderful to have a bathroom and bedroom for each couple or individual. Loved being on the shore for walking and putting our kayaks in. I wish I had considered the steep drive way and busy road would not make walking easy for 93 year old mother, We loved our time in your home, and would stay again. Thank you. Jean K

Best ocean front beach house

You can't find such large ocean front house easily. The house is close to many interesting spots including deception Pass, shrimp shark, anacotes and island ferry if you like to do a day trip to San Juan Island House has everything. I appreciate two houses configure which gives me the opportunity to quite time. Highly recommended

We were a group of six women. The house is an architectural treasure and the setting is world class. We stayed three nights, cooked in quite a bit and found the kitchen to be well stocked. The area is surrounded by wonderful parks and food destinations. We were fortunate to stay during the tulip season and enjoyed the Roozenguarde Gardens immensely. LaConner, and Anacortes are a joy. Deception Pass and the park there is awesome.

5 beds, not 6. The listing is inaccurate and the property manager repeatedly assured us there were 6 beds but there are not. They have done nothing to remedy the issue and our stay was significantly compromised by their misrepresentation. Vacasa doesn’t care and the owners appear to be completely uninvolved. This is not “Vacation Rental by Owner”.

Mother's Day family gathering.

This is a beautful house and guest house with a lovely view and provided a great setting for our mother's day weekend with mom, 90 and four "kids" in their 60's plus spouses. Hiking at nearby Deception Pass, a plus.

Exceeded our expectations! We rented both houses and it was perfect for our family vacation. Amazing waterfront location, houses well furnished and great kitchen layout in the main house for cooking meals for everyone. About a 10 min drive to Deception Pass State Park or Anacortes, 20 mins to La Conner, such an amazing location and gorgeous property. We hope to return!

Perfect family vacation on the beach near Deception Pass

This property was absolutely wonderful, exceeded our expectations! We rented both houses which was perfect for our family. Gorgeous view, beautiful outdoor spaces, amazing kitchen layout to cook for our large group. No road noise. Deception Pass State Park is about a 10 minute drive away. A couple of us swam from the beach out front. We loved this place!

The property is beautiful but needs some repairs! The pros: beautiful gardens, amazing view, nice linens, and lots of towels. There are high end appliances and the architectural design is impressive. The house could be stunningly gorgeous, but it needs some TLC. The Cons: The interior needs new paint, no reading lamps in master bedroom, one hot faucet and drain in master bath doesn't work, and towel ring is coming out of the wall. There are no dressers or luggage racks in bedrooms, so all suitcases are on the floor. Rugs need replacement. Many door screens are broken or missing, outdoor shower doesn't work, and sauna was dirty. This is the first VRBO we have had that limited dishwasher detergent, laundry pods, toilet paper, trash bags etc. Nobody wants to buy all of that on vacation, especially in a luxury rental. It would be nice to have some cleaning sprays for the kitchen. With a few repairs, this house would be gorgeous!

Great two family stay

The view from this property is stunning, and I wish that we had more time to just enjoy the property but we had daily plans to explore the area. Our kids enjoyed beach combing for hours. Our stay was comfortable and the location is great for daily tours of Whidbey and Fidalgo Islands. While the home was overall clean and comfortable, the quality of the furniture such as the bed frames or mattresses didn’t quite match the overall quality of the house. There were a couple screen doors that needed repair and the exterior entry ways could use a little bit of cleaning off of old cobwebs. None of these items distracted from our fun, family stay though. I would still recommend this house.

Rough check in, lovely property

This is the 2nd time we’ve rented a Vacasa managed home and had issues both times. The first time there were several issues and none were resolved nor were we compensated by them for the inconvenience. So, when I discovered after booking this home that Vacasa managed I was concerned. They sent us the wrong check in codes, so we had alarms going off until the local manager got in touch and fixed it. After that we were ok and enjoyed it.
