Welcome to Three Bears, a beautifully appointed mountain home near Ellijay, Georgia, offering stunning mountain views and a peaceful setting just minutes from the best of North Georgia.
Located only a few miles from the heart of Ellijay, you’ll be close to charming shops, local restaurants, wineries, and some of North Georgia’s best outdoor attractions. Fort Mountain State Park is also nearby, offering miles of scenic hiking trails and beautiful mountain landscapes.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing mountain getaway, a weekend of hiking and wine tasting, or a comfortable home base for exploring Ellijay, Three Bears offers a beautiful setting to slow down and enjoy North Georgia.
The Home & Sleeping Arrangements
Three Bears accommodates a maximum of 12 guests and offers a flexible layout designed for families and groups.
The main level features two private bedrooms and a full bathroom, along with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces overlooking the mountain scenery.
A cozy loft features a queen bed and is accessed by a ladder. Because of the ladder access, this sleeping area is best suited for guests who are comfortable safely climbing up and down.
The downstairs is a large OPEN area and is not a private bedroom. This area features queen bunk beds and a Murphy bed, as well as the indoor game/entertainment area. Guests should be aware that these sleeping arrangements are located within a shared open space and do not offer the privacy of an enclosed bedroom.
The downstairs area is accessed from outside.
Outside, guests can enjoy the mountain views from the patio, along with a gas grill, gas fire pit, and outdoor sink/kitchenette area.
IMPORTANT HOUSE & SAFETY RULES
For the safety of our guests, wildlife, and property, please review and follow all rules during your stay.
Gas Fire Pit
The gas fire pit may only be operated by guests 18 years of age or older. Children are not permitted to operate the fire pit.
To operate the fire pit:
Turn on the gas valve.
Immediately push the electric striker to ignite the flame.
If the flame does not ignite, turn the gas valve completely OFF and allow the gas to dissipate before attempting to light it again.
Never leave the fire pit unattended while it is operating.
No cooking or roasting marshmallows over the gas fire pit.
Horseplay, running, or unsafe behavior around the fire pit is prohibited.
When finished, make sure the gas valve is completely in the OFF position.
A fire extinguisher is located on the wall for emergency use.
Damage, misuse, food residue, or excessive cleaning involving the fire pit may result in a $500 damage/cleanup fee.
Gas Grill
The gas grill may only be operated by guests 18 years of age or older. Children are not permitted to operate the grill.
To operate the grill, turn the burner knob counterclockwise. The burner should ignite. If it does not ignite, turn the burner OFF before attempting to light it again.
Never leave the grill unattended while it is operating.
Do not leave leftover food, grease, scraps, or food residue inside or around the grill. Bears may damage or destroy the grill while attempting to get to food.
After each use, clean up all food and make sure ALL burner knobs are completely turned to the OFF position.
A fire extinguisher is located on the wall beside the door for emergency use.
Guests may be responsible for damage or excessive cleaning resulting from misuse of the grill or failure to follow these rules.
Bears & Wildlife
Three Bears is located in a natural mountain environment. Black bears are present in this area, and all guests must take appropriate precautions.
Keep the cabin doors CLOSED AT ALL TIMES. Do not leave exterior doors standing open, even temporarily.
Never approach, feed, touch, follow, or attempt to interact with a bear or other wildlife.
Never leave food outside. This includes food on or around the grill, pet food, coolers, food scraps, or other scented items.
All garbage must be placed inside the designated trash can. After putting trash in the can, make sure the lid is completely closed and the straps are securely fastened over the lid.
Do not leave loose garbage or bags of garbage outside of the secured trash can.
Keep vehicle doors and windows closed while parked at the property.
Children and pets should be appropriately supervised while outside.
Bear Spray
Bear spray is provided for emergency use.
Bear spray is located:
• Under the patio
• At the pool house
Please familiarize yourself with its location upon arrival. Bear spray should only be used as intended in an emergency involving wildlife.
Children are not permitted to handle or operate the bear spray.
Pet Policy
Three Bears welcomes up to 2 pets with prior host approval.
Pets must be potty trained.
The standard weight limit is 60 pounds per pet, unless otherwise discussed with and specifically approved by the host before arrival.
A $300 pet fee applies.
ALL pets must be disclosed to and approved by the host BEFORE arrival.
If pets are brought onto the property without notifying and receiving approval from the host, an additional $300 fee may be charged.
Failure to follow the pet policy may result in the host requiring the guest to leave the property, subject to the booking platform's applicable policies.
Guests are responsible for damage, stains, odors, waste, excessive cleaning, or other costs caused by their pets.
Pets should not be left outside unattended, particularly because bears and other wildlife may be present.
Motorized Blinds
The cabin features motorized blinds.
The remote control used to operate the blinds is located beside the back door.
Children are NOT permitted to operate the blinds or the blind remote.
Please operate the blinds only with the designated remote and do not manually pull, force, or attempt to adjust the motorized blinds by hand.
Remote Control Policy
All designated remote controls must remain attached to their wall locations at all times.
Do not detach, relocate, remove, or take the remotes from their designated locations.
Missing, removed, detached, or damaged remotes may result in a $150 replacement/service fee.
Pool & Construction Area
The pool area is currently unfinished and under construction.
The pool and construction area are STRICTLY OFF-LIMITS and are not available for guest use at this time.
Guests should not enter or attempt to use the unfinished pool/construction area.
Children must not be permitted to enter the restricted area.
Exterior Security Cameras
For the safety and security of our guests and property, exterior security cameras are located:
• At the front of the property
• Facing the pool area
There are NO cameras inside the home.

Guest Responsibility
By booking Three Bears, guests are expected to review and follow all property, occupancy, pet, wildlife, trash, fire pit, grill, blind, remote-control, pool, and safety rules.
Guests may be responsible for applicable charges for damages, excessive cleaning, missing or damaged property, or violations of these rules as permitted by the booking platform and applicable terms.
