Inside, the living area is bright and inviting, with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped and suitable for everyday cooking. The apartment features two comfortable bedrooms with fresh linens and a modern, well-maintained bathroom.

Getting around from Strendur is easy and convenient. The town is directly connected to Tórshavn via the Eysturoyartunnilin, which significantly reduces travel time to the capital. By car, you can reach Tórshavn in approximately 15–20 minutes, making Strendur an excellent alternative to staying directly in the city.



Free parking is available right outside the building, making it easy for guests arriving by car. Having a car is highly recommended, as it gives you full freedom to explore nearby villages, scenic drives, viewpoints, and hiking areas across Eysturoy and the rest of the islands.



Local buses also operate between Strendur and Tórshavn, providing a convenient option for guests who prefer public transport. With the new tunnel connection and good road infrastructure, Strendur is one of the most accessible towns outside the capital.



From this location, you can easily plan day trips to some of the Faroe Islands’ most popular sights while returning in the evening to a calm and quiet neighborhood.
