The story of WALLY began long before the first guests arrived. This was once the home of our beloved Aunt Mici and a place where generations of our family spent time together. The house was surrounded by greenery and walnut trees, and many of our family memories are connected to this peaceful corner near Ptuj.

After Aunt Mici’s time, we did not want to simply sell the property or allow its story to disappear. Instead, we decided to give the house a new purpose while preserving the warmth and character that had always made it special.

That is how WALLY was created: a family-run collection of individually designed apartments, combining the tranquillity of the countryside with the comfort expected by today’s travellers. Each apartment has its own character, but they all share the same idea—to offer guests a clean, welcoming and relaxing place where they can feel at home.
The walnut orchard remains an important part of the property’s identity and reminds us of where the story began. Today, guests can enjoy the garden, outdoor areas, children’s playground and peaceful surroundings, while historic Ptuj is only a few minutes away.

We continue to develop WALLY with care, creating additional spaces for relaxation and making the property even more comfortable for families, couples, friends and travellers passing through Slovenia.

For us, WALLY is more than accommodation. It is the continuation of a family story and a place we are happy to share with guests from around the world.

We love this neighbourhood because it offers the best of both worlds: peaceful surroundings and convenient access to everything guests may need. The property is located in a quiet area with plenty of greenery, where guests can relax away from busy city traffic.

At the same time, historic Ptuj is only a short drive away. Guests can easily visit Ptuj Castle, explore the old town, enjoy the thermal spa, discover local restaurants or experience the region’s wine and cultural traditions.

The nearby A1 motorway also makes the location especially convenient for travellers exploring Slovenia or stopping overnight while travelling between Austria, Croatia and other destinations. It is a peaceful base for longer stays as well as a comfortable and practical stop during a road trip.

Our property offers much more than simply a place to sleep. Guests can enjoy comfortable accommodation in peaceful surroundings, free private parking and a spacious outdoor area where they can relax and spend time together.
