Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing and I ended up leaving early because of the condition of the room. When I arrived, the space did not feel properly cleaned or prepared for a guest. There were cobwebs and spiders, a bug inside one of the lampshades, and the overall room felt grungy and poorly maintained. The lighting was also very poor, and the Wi-Fi was not working. Due to the WiFi not working, the tv wouldn’t work because it needed WiFi. The service where we were was also extremely poor which made it a safety concern. I contacted the host about the issues, and to their credit, they did send someone out three times to address my concerns. Unfortunately, very little seemed to have actually been done aside from the beds being made. The cleanliness issues remained.After giving the situation multiple opportunities to be corrected, I ultimately decided that I was not comfortable staying for the remainder of my reservation and left early. The host did refund me for the unused nights, which I appreciated, but given the condition of the room upon arrival and the fact that the problems were not resolved after three attempts, it made me very uncomfortable. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel it is important for future guests to know what my experience was. I hope the cleanliness, maintenance, Wi-Fi, and overall preparation of the space are addressed going forward.
