I do love our resort's location in west Maui and especially our particular ground floor location on the north end of the resort - the most private and quiet area available but also so close and convenient to all the great resort amenities. I'll look forward to your next stay.

"Stunning" is one of my favorite adjectives and I appreciate you using it to describe my property. I love Duke's for all the meals. I love a good loco moco for breakfast (although with a burger, rice, eggs, and gravy it will work for any meal) and Duke's version is my favorite. The patty is an angus chuck & brisket blend and the gravy is so delicious. It's even better if you substitute fried rice for the white rice. For lunch I usually go with fish tacos or street tacos, and for dinner I love the traditional sautéed macadamia nut and herb crusted fresh fish (especially if it's mahi mahi). Be sure to save room to share a slice of Hula Pie - it's what the sailors swam ashore for!

Mahalo for the kind review. I actually visited the property in January and added a Sonos sound bar while I was on island. It's great for watching movies or TV and for music as well.

My guests and I share our love for the ground floor location on the exterior of the Konea building. We enjoy the privacy and the extra space and yard and especially like the short walk from the lanai to the barbeque area by the pool. I'm a retired firefighter and this property represents a huge investment for me, so as owner/manager I have put a lot of thought into what guests might like to find in the condo. There is a large closet full of boogie boards, coolers, and beach toys. I've given careful thought to providing all the cooking and serving items that can comfortably fit. I've provided a pack n play portable crib for the littles, and the ground floor location is especially good for families that can let the kids play in the yard while the adults can keep an eye on them from inside or on the lanai. The internet and wifi are very fast and I provide Netflix and Amazon so guests can stream movies on the 65 inch Samsung high definition TV in the living room and in the bedrooms. The resort is very well maintained and the grounds and pools are wonderful. I have put a lot of effort into the the recommendations and "local knowledge" I provide for all my guests for activities and restaurants.

When I travel I want to know exactly what I'm paying for, so I endeavor to endeavor to describe the vacation experience my guests can expect when they book Konea 142 in great detail. I love the privacy and convenience of Konea 142's ground floor location since it's only a one minute walk from either the front or back door to the pools and Viking BBQ grills. Grilled food arrives hot to our lanai dining table since the distance is so short and you don't have to wait for an empty elevator.

Mahalo for the kind review. The Honua Kai Resort & Spa does in fact have everything. Our unit Konea 142 is the ONLY two bedroom two bath on the GROUND FLOOR of the north side of the Konea building. This is the most private and quiet part of the resort and it is situated for the most convenient access to all the resort amenities such as the pools and Viking Grills which are just a one minute walk out of our locking back door, through our private yard, and down the grassy path. Unlike those guests that have to use elevators, your food arrives at your covered outdoor dining table HOT. You also get 11 foot vaulted ceilings only on the ground floor, which makes the already large indoor and outdoor space at Konea 142 feel huge.

Mahalo for the kind review. We love being the only 2 bedroom 2 bath ground floor condominium on the north side of the resort. Our location is very private but there is no other condominium as convenient to parking garage, lobby, pools, gym, spa, restaurant, and Viking gas BBQ grills.

One of the best decisions I ever made was to purchase this particular ground floor unit at Honua Kai. It has the best combination of convenience and privacy of any of the 700ish units at Honua Kai.
