Our home is located directly off RT 9, Only a few miles from Historic Milton, Sports at the Beach, tax free shopping and restaurants. Or take a smooth scenic, straight shot - right into historic Lewes and Lewes Beach in just 20 - 25 minutes. Perfect for outdoor lovers! Cape Henlopen State Park's famous biking trails, walking paths and historic WWII towers all in Lewes! Be sure to stop at Hopkins Farm Creamer only 5 miles (from our country home) down RT 9. Delaware's largest dairy farm for fresh, local ice cream, petting zoo & farmers market on the way back from the Beach.

Then step into this inviting three-bedroom home, where comfort and convenience combine. Nestled into the farmland of Sussex County, yet right off the travel Route 9 to all the major attractions. We are centrally located between Delaware’s famous beaches/boardwalk/state parks and both Historic Milton and Georgetown. This home will provide a place to rest, relax and renew. You will find a nicely stocked kitchen with smart appliances to cook your favorite meal. You may also grill fresh and eat in the gazebo while roasting S’mores in the fire pit for dessert. Enjoy an evening resting in the hammock after a day at the beach, strolling historic towns, or even Outlet tax free shopping. The Primary Bedroom has a walk-in tiled shower, with seat. The guest bath has a tub & shower unit. If visiting on work duty ... you will find a nice workspace for your laptop with internet. End your day sleeping in a beautiful queen bedroom designed for pleasant dreams. Bringing a little one, be sure to request a pack n play & high chair. We are prepared for you!

Close to all the major activities, yet a private oasis with corn fields in your back yard. Depending on season, you may wake up to Farming activity or silent deer grazing. In the field behind the property. Come play and Come stay. A beautiful refuge from the nearby world in farm fresh air.

Things to be aware of: This is a pet and smoke free home. No smoking of any kind or candles. The grill and fire pit are to be used outside. The wood (gas) stove in the living room is used during winter months. No parties, events, extra guest or disturbing activities.

This home was so clean and cozy! The host went out of her way to welcome us and provided little extra touches to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The home was well-equipped with what anyone could need and additionally included helpful information for our stay. The communication with the host was also great. The location is away from the crowds and was relaxing and pleasant. We explored in every direction and thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Delaware. We visited nearby towns and took the ferry to Cape May one day and visited the zoo and enjoyed that area as well. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

My son and I were in town for a tournament at Sports at the Beach and I was incredibly happy with everything the property offered. It is extremely close to the complex, and within reasonable distance to everything else I needed. The house itself was clean and comfortable, with a fantastic open kitchen and comfortable living room. Everything was new and spotless. I had a very warm welcome card with clear, thoughtful instructions. Zero issues! And the price was perfect for what I was looking to spend, allowing me to really spread out and feel at home for a value way over what I would have spent at a hotel. Thanks for the great stay!

Our stay was fantastic from start to finish! I only wish we could stay longer. We got a late start but check in was seamless. The space was spotless, warm, well decorated, and inviting with so many thoughtful touches and amenities. We were greeted with a kind note from the host, detailed instructions, local recommendations, and a gift of delicious honey from their hive. We arrived after dark but the next morning I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful backyard gazebo set against a backdrop of peaceful farm land. We were a short drive to beaches, food, and entertainment without being in the busy tourist area. My mother sat out on the deck in the morning drinking her coffee. My 7 year old son enjoyed the games available in the garage. Less than a day into our stay and we were already talking about coming back. We even took advantage of the firepit on our last night and had s'mores. I'm so grateful to our hosts for such a lovely experience. A much needed escaped before heading back to school next week. Clean, safe, family friendly, and a wonderful host.

Excellent place to stay for a DE vacation! The home is very clean and well decorated. Master suite with large shower is a plus. Open floor plan makes it a great space for family when spending time in the house. The house is close enough to spend the day at Lewes/CapeHenlopen/Rehobeth beaches, but a little removed from all the traffic of the tourist area, making it a great place to unwind and relax in the evenings. The outdoor hammock, gazebo, and fire pit were a huge plus, and the kids loved making s’mores in the evenings (the house has firewood, kindling, roasting sticks). The host was very responsive - clearly communicated check in instructions. Check-in and check-out process was easy to follow. Host was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. On arrival there was a nice thank you card and jar of honey from local bees, such a thoughtful thing to do!The owners clearly take pride in this property and have created a great rental for people to stay. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy some time away in a relaxing setting close to the DE beaches!
