The Space:

Welcome to Prospect House, a landmarked 1896 Brooklyn brownstone, a Romanesque/Renaissance Revival gem meticulously restored over four years and certified by the National Park Service’s Historic Preservation program. The renovation preserved historic detail while integrating full modern systems and amenities, producing a Gilded Age classic with contemporary comforts.



The triplex parlor floor is the showpiece with 10.5' ceilings and a fluid open plan that moves from the street facing living area through a central dining room into a chef’s kitchen. Two gas fireplaces, heated bathroom floors, and a Sonos sound system throughout. New French glass panel doors open the kitchen onto an expansive parlor floor deck with garden views.



The dedicated primary suite occupies the entire second floor. A street side den with office and wet bar connects through a spa like bathroom (whirlpool soaking tub included and heated bathroom floors) into a quiet rear bedroom with a windowed walk in closet alongside. The third floor houses two additional bedrooms, plus a sitting room with wet bar, laundry, and a bathroom with classic subway tile and a clawfoot tub.



A private roof terrace crowns the home with sweeping westward views over one of Brooklyn’s greenest center blocks, perfect for sunsets. Situated on a tree lined block in Prospect Heights, you’re steps from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Barclays Center, and the neighborhood’s best cafés and boutiques, with easy subway access to Manhattan and beyond.



Other Things to Note:

Pet Policy: Pets are allowed with owner approval and a one time $350 charge. Rove requires a property rental agreement to be signed by the primary guest prior to arrival for all reservations at this home.



No outdoor shoes to be worn inside the house.



Security deposit



Stays up to 89 nights: $2,500 credit hold



Stays between 90 and 179 nights: $5,000 credit hold



Stays of 180 nights or longer: Cash security deposit equal to one month’s rent



All security deposits are processed as a credit card hold 2 days prior to arrival and released 2 days after departure, or as a bank transfer for stays of 180 nights or longer.
